How we ended up with a random reward system?

The **prisoner's dilemma** is a standard example of a game analyzed in game theory that shows why two completely rational individuals might not cooperate, even if it appears that it is in their best interests to do so. How read.cash reward system change from a points system to random rewarder can be explained by using this theory. In theory, the points system supposed to encourage everyone to write a good article by rewarding them with points. However, this will only work if everyone cooperates together by following what this system wants us to do. Instead what happens here is someone decided to betray everyone by abusing the point system by spamming comments, copy-paste articles do not belong to them and etc, etc.

Imagine the buyer is read.cash. and the seller is the writer. Because the writer's side continues to have people fail to deliver what they supposed to do. It would be in read.cash best interest to defect by changing the reward system. For me, after dealing with many customers in my numismatic field. I learn enough to know a lot of humans don't choose rational thinking. Instead of choosing to cooperate, most will focus on self-interested. We are at where we are not because the points system fail but rather it is the human nature that fail it.
