portuguese egg tart
Good morning everyone. Today I buy 2 Portuguese egg tart for breakfast from the nearby bakery. This is one of my favourite pastry I wish I can get every day if not because of the sugar. Originally it supposed to be called Pastel de nata. it is a Portuguese egg custard tart pastry dusted with cinnamon. Outside Portugal, they are particularly popular in other parts of Western Europe, Asia and former Portuguese colonies, such as Brazil and Macau. I like it due to how crispy it is when I bite it. It is better than normal egg tart.
