Gold and silver coins are issued in the form of proof coin while copper-zinc-tin issues come in 2 types: Brilliant Uncirculated and Proof. Abstract patterns form endangered animal shadows used for design on the front of the commemorative coins. On the front of the gold coin, the abstract pattern illustrates the tiger of the branches. Silver coins, abstract patterns illustrate fish while abstract patterns illustrate the uptight bird on a zinc-tin-copper coin. Under this abstract pattern is the year "1972-1992" in each of the coins. All of these abstract patterns are designed by Maria Sia; WWF's 20th-anniversary coin designer. The rear design for these three commemorative coins is the same as in the central part of the coin featured trademarks and organizational logos, "WWF" and Panda bears.
