Ren chilled spicy Szechuan chicken

Today lunch I revisit the Ren restaurant at KLCC Suriall Mall, a restaurant that specializes in Shanghainese and Xinjiang Cuisine.

After looking at their menu, this time I decided to order the chilled spicy Szechuan chicken. After including the 16% service tax, the total cost is RM25.52. This dish is normally served as an appetizer but for me, I just eat it as a main dish with a bowl of rice. This chilled spicy Szechuan chicken is a traditional Szechuan cold dish, it gives a numbing hot, tender and refreshing taste all at the same time. It is called "Slobber chicken" because it contains a lot of Szechuan peppercorns that numbs the mouth till you drool.
