Santan nasi lemak golden salmon
Today lunch, I have it at the Santan Restaurant located at the Wangsa Walk Mall to check what dish they have for the Chinese New Year festival.
For this year Chinese New Year, Santan Restaurant comes out with this nasi lemak golden salmon. It cost RM19.95 per plate after including the 6% service tax. For those who don't know what nasi lemak is, it is a dish originating in Malay cuisine that consists of fragrant rice cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf. It is commonly found in Malaysia, where it is considered the national dish. nasi lemak is served with sambal sauce, and usually includes various garnishes, including fresh cucumber slices, ikan bilis, roasted peanuts, and hard-boiled or fried egg. As a more substantial meal, nasi lemak may also be served with an additional protein dish such as fried chicken, sambal sotong, small fried fish, cockles, and rendang daging. The nasi lemak golden salmon is a plate of nasi lemak served with a slice of fried salmon fillet. A great dish for those who are salmon and nasi lemak lover.
