Nanyang Cafe deep-fried wonton with tossed noodles
Today I need to visit Eko Cheras Mall to get some work done so I order my lunch from this Nanyang Cafe.
After looking at their menu for some time, I order the deep-fried wonton with tossed noodles. For those who don't know what wonton is, it is a type of Chinese dumpling commonly found across regional styles of Chinese cuisine. Wontons are made by spreading a square wrapper flat in the palm of one's hand, placing a small amount of filling in the center and sealing the wonton into the desired shape by compressing the wrapper's edges together with the fingers. Wontons are commonly boiled and served in soup or sometimes deep-fried. Here are pictures of my deep-fried wonton with tossed noodles. Due to the lockdown and I am very hungry, I have a picnic-style lunch. If I travel home to eat, I will have to travel for an hour before I can touch it.
