Beef Satay

Today I have my dinner at RDS Restaurant Wangsa Maju Sdn bhd, a hawker center. While walking around looking at all the stalls thinking about what to eat, I saw this stall I never see before.

This stall sells all sort of satay. It sells the following item: chicken satay - RM1 Beef satay - RM1 lamb satay - RM1.50 Cheese satay - RM3 (no longer sell due to not many demand) ketupat (rice cake) - RM0.50 I order for myself 8 beef satay and 2 ketupat, it cost me RM9 in total. For those who don't know what satay is, it is a Southeast Asian dish of seasoned, skewered, and grilled meat served with a sauce. In Malaysia, it is normally served with sweet peanut sauce. Here is a picture of him cooking the satay.

Here are pictures of my beef satay with the ketupat.

My favorite way of eating it is as usual pulling out all the meat from the stick and put it all into the sweet peanut sauce. Let it soak for a while only then start eating it.
