For today breakfast, I have Scotti Risotto Porcino. Risotto is a northern Italian rice dish cooked with broth until it reaches a creamy consistency. Porcino is a type of mushroom. Porcino is also known as Penny Bun is an edible mushroom that can be found fresh or dried. Porcini mushrooms are utilized for their earthy, meaty flavor in recipes for Italian pasta and rice dishes, soups and sauces, and savory specialties like risotto.
