Pho Vietz caramel sliced pork belly set

Today I am back at Pho Vietz, a restaurant in Pavillion Mall that specializes in Vietnamese cuisine to try another dish.

This time I order their caramel sliced pork belly set, it cost RM21.90 after including the 6% service tax. It comes with a bowl of rice, salad and soup. This original dish is actually called Caramelized pork and eggs or in Vietnam "Thit Kho To", it normally consists of small pieces of marinated pork and boiled eggs braised in coconut juice. The Pho Vietz version did not contain any eggs. Overall, the meat is in the sticky savoury-sweet glaze. I enjoy this meal a lot, I didn't know using coconut water can make a huge difference to the dish.
