What do you desire most?
Everyone in life has desires and the urge to need something. When I was a little boy, I will always desire toys and some music player gadgets because I love listening to music. This urge was necessitated by the fact that many of my friends have it and I desired them too. I don't want to be left behind. In Economics, I learned that human wants are insatiable, you can't satisfy all your wants even if you have the means. There is no all-sufficient. Definitely, at some point in time, you are after many things that are not in your reach at that particular point in time. People's desires are distinct and vary according to each need. Some want money, they want to acquire as much as possible. I want money too, who doesn't want money?
Our desires are motivated by our lack most time. Consider a poor man who barely has a meal to eat per day. What do think will be his greatest need or desire? Food to eat or a boat to cruise on? Of course, his first need is food. It is when humans have satisfied their basic wants that they desire other secondary desires too. For a certain period in my life, I couldn't think of anything less than having money. You know peer pressure can lead to having such thoughts sometimes. When you see your friends living the good life and you looked like you are left behind.
What do you desire most? Well, some people desire abstract things rather than material things. All that some people want is happiness and joy in their life. They don't care about money or wealth. Some desire good health. Like I said earlier, you can only desire that which you lack. No one desires what they already have except if it's a better version of what they had already. Consider a person with a car, he or she may desire cars of other good brands better than the one he's currently using. Human wants are insatiable and you always have new desires and wants every day.
Life is more interesting when we have wants and needs to be met. Consider a life that has everything and all, such life won't be so interesting you know. Identifying your desires and looking for ways to get them might be a fun thing. A quick one, don't in a desperate manner try to fulfill your needs at all costs. Some people do shady deals because they want to be rich and it boomerangs back on them. Life is to be taken easy. Don't take two steps at a time. Always exercise caution in whatever you are doing.
I hope all of our heart desires come true. Life is only worth living when you are happy and also have your needs met. If our desires are not met, we become unhappy as humans. A person with no legs will desire a wheelchair to move him around if he doesn't have one. But don't you think he will be sad if there is no one to help him with one and he can't avoid it? In the process of getting your desires and want, try to fulfill other people's ultimate desire if you can. It's the best thing to do as a fellow human being.
Will you like to live forever?
What will you do if you can live forever? Will you have a lot of assets and wealth? Of course, you would because you work every day and you will be able to gather as much wealth as possible? If someone asked you if you will like to live forever, what will be your answer? Perhaps yes. Most people fear death and they dread the day they have to die. Well, death is inevitable for every human being, it's something you can't avoid. You can't cheat death when your time comes. I always wished I could live forever, do you too?
We tend to enjoy life and wish we live forever and enjoy more. People don't like to talk about death because it's not a good experience for them. Dying is not a jolly experience like graduating from high school or college. It's the end of life!
Do you think living forever might make you happy? Well, you have to consider a lot of options buddy. Life is only sweet with loved ones you know. You can't enjoy life if you are a loner. Sometimes the best doesn't have to come from the quantity but the quality alone. It might not be how long and far you lived but how well and good it was even if it's short-lived. Many times we want to be immortal but we don't know that immortality leads to loneliness. Consider if you are immortal and you can't die, but you have to see your children and wife grow old and die, then you become lonely again. It's sad losing your loved ones to death while you are still alive and not dying.
I thought living forever might be a wonderful thing and experience, but is it? You can't even live forever as Science hasn't found a way yet though. We are still improving and hopefully, we can live much longer with the help of technology around us. Either way, going to heaven matters most don't you think? I don't want to lose that for anything else. I want to live my life here with my loved ones and share happiness while it lasts. Life is sweet when you are with the right people
Don't think too much about it, you can't live forever but you can imprint your name forever into the hearts of people you leave behind. I think that's the best way to live. Life with purpose is aimless and useless. It's better to leave this earth with good deeds left behind. Most people failed to live right and they destroy themselves only at the end of their life. What a bad thing if your death brings happiness to many people because when you are still living you aren't living right. Someone died and everyone was so sad because he would be greatly missed while another person died and people spit on him because he was a bad figure when he was alive. Between those two, who really lived?
Be good to others while you are still alive. Have compassion for the poor. You might not live forever but don't leave earth without leaving a positive impact. People will always remember great people like Mother Teresa. Will people remember you too when you are long gone? Think about it, and start living right.
The transiency of life
If on the verge of death you can reminisce on some things you have done in this life, would you reminisce without regrets? Everyone in life soon or later had a debt on their head to pay; the debt of death. There is no one living on earth who will not die someday. By the year 2200, all of us living right now will be no more. Life is transient and ephemeral, then should you make any big deal out of it? No. I have seen countless people who are known for their wickedness in society, they are untouchable and they always believed they are the best until death humbles them. If you could remember your last moments on your bed, would you have been proud of the life you have lived? Will you say you have truly lived? You know that there are still many opportunities now to correct our mistakes and live our lives to the fullest. One of the painful things in life is regretting the life you should have lived while you were still vibrant.
Early morning today, I received with sadness the news of a man who died after stumbling in the past week inside his own house. This man is known to be one of the richest on our streets but he was not a loving man even to his own family. His behavior was nothing to write home about but this man died early this morning after a serious sickness that erupted from his being stumbling during the past week. The neighborhood currently feels sorrow as the family just lost a child this same year. This shows how life is so brief and why we should live a good life because we don't know when we will expire as humans. I always imagine the death of a loved one so sorrowing and heartbreaking. It's something you don't want to happen to you. Life may be so hard to live in but it's harder to lose loved ones.
Many people have forgotten they will die one day. They always hate others and do all manners of evil. If you leave the face of the earth today and people are happy then that means one didn't live truly then. Life is not all about riches alone, or the amount of wealth. It's about how well your life has positively affected others. I will like to breathe my last breath with satisfaction about the life I have lived, to be happy I have lived my life to the fullest. Did someone offend you? instead of forgiving and moving on, you still hold grudge against such a person. You shouldn't live life harboring bitterness in your heart. You are met to live a happy life. Don't live a life where you have to be fighting others every day.
You can talk to someone today and tomorrow they are long gone. I wish I could leave forever? If there is immortality I will like to pay the price. I dreaded the day I will bid my parents when they are so old and leave this world. Well, it's a price every child has to pay right? If you could live forever, will you? Instead of trying to dream about the impossible, it's only better to appreciate your loved ones when they are still around with you and not when they are long gone into the dust of the earth where loneliness looms.
Have you enjoyed preferential treatment before?
Humans have one common habit they all exhibit at some point in time. When someone probably did something bad or wrong, they may come up with many excuses to defend their wrong actions. Some will say they made a mistake because they were only human and no human being is above mistakes. Yes, that's true. That's why as human beings, we have one time or the other given out preferential treatment to others especially our loved ones above others. And we have also received preferential treatment above others too.
When we are given preferential treatment, it means we are treated better than those who are not given the same treatment. Preferential treatment may come in many ways, it may be through favors or opportunities. And it always comes as a result of connections or social capital. I could vividly recall many times when people are treated better because they come from someone important than others in the same gathering. In church and many other places, we tend to give out preferential treatment to people who are better off than others. That's why many reserve front seats for rich people and ask others to settle at the bank just because of monetary power and influence.
Preferential treatment happens almost everywhere. You can see it occurring in the home among siblings, in the workplace, and in society at large. Talking about giving such treatment in the home will only cause nothing but rivalry among the children. Each trying to gain the favors of their parents this engaging in unhealthy competition and fights which are harmful to their self-growth. I remembered some times ago when I had a clash with my brother. He was so bitter towards me because he thought that I was always getting better treatment from our parents probably because I was the firstborn of the family. It took much longer to convince him of the equal love that our parents shared with us. In the worst case, my brother had hated me for life if I didn't explain and comfort him then.
Do you know that such treatment brings a lot of harm, especially to those who are treated way less? It makes them feel useless and that they are not important enough. Back then in my high school days. The son of the man who happened to own the school will never queue to buy food as other students do. He just goes straight to the food vendor and buys whatever he wants to buy. But we could not talk then because of who his father was. I always muttered silently then that I wished my dad has a school too so that I won't have been bothering myself queuing for a long time before I can buy food. But even at that, most of us then concluded that he must be more important than the rest of us because his father owns the school.
We can only strive to treat others better and if possible equally. If you can't treat everybody equally then you need to treat others as well and fair as you can. Everybody wants to be respected and to be attached to importance.
I am jobless and have no money
In this part of the world, living as a man is much harder than you can think. Living as a man with many responsibilities around your shoulder makes life harder for men than most dependable ladies. Based on the social construct, a man is expected to take care of the family and be independent. Ladies who are not married yet have any shame in depending on their parents for survival but the same cannot be said for men. As a man, you have to have means of income to take care of your loved ones and family as well.
For someone like me who is still in school and has not yet graduated from college. I was into many things that enable me to get some money to take care of myself and to be able to send some money to my parents too for their upkeep. I always believed I should help my parents since I came from an average home. I do many online jobs which pay me a little money. With the money, I buy new things for myself and also save some money.
When you don't have a stable source of income, life might not be rosy for you as a man especially if you want to live up to your responsibilities. I have already been at home for the past three weeks now from school and I suddenly felt useless because I couldn't contribute anything financially at home. Instead, I just eat and sleep because I don't have a job that is going to pay me any money to support them. I'm not so happy with myself as I can't do anything to help them. Because of the closure of schools all around the country, it's difficult to earn a living right now.
As a man who always loves to care for others and stay independent, it seems I am having a hard time staying at home now. Probably my parents didn't know about it but I don't feel much comfortable living with them without contributing to or supporting them with anything. It's not my fault though, I don't have money to support them. I am thinking of traveling back to where I came from maybe there will be an opportunity to make money again because by staying here I will be deprived of some opportunities to make money.
Not all men care about the well-being of their families or their loved ones. Well, I am not like them, I believe that there are many others like me too who are compassionate towards their loved ones. I can recall many times my girlfriend always encourage me to discard worries whenever I feel inadequate enough to support her or my family. For me and many men out there, not living up to responsibilities makes us feel useless and reduce our self-esteem. That might be a bad thing to happen to a man. That's why we must up our games and stand strong. Also, find a supportive wife or partner to help you and support you all the way. You shouldn't weigh yourself with work and always take a little rest while working. Life is about working alone. Hopefully, I landed a real and stable job soon. I want to support and help my family as much as I can. Also wants to take care of myself and look good too. I think it's not a bad thing to do right?
Should the poor continue getting oppressed?
I might have forgotten how this axiom goes, it's more of like a quote to me though which was said by one of the particularly great leaders in Africa. It says that when a rich man gets sick the poor man goes to his place and wishes him a well and safe recovery. But when the poor man gets sick he waits till he gets better and then goes to inform the rich man about his illness. Many times we gave often encountered the inequality between the rich and the poor. This inequality exists almost everywhere and in every place.
The concept of social equality doesn't work much in today's society. The rich oppress the poor and gets on with it. I remembered also that power tussle exists among the rich also. Each trying to be the best and most powerful over others and will do everything to attain superiority. I could remember a Korean drama series I watched sometimes back called "THE PENTHOUSE; WAR OF LIFE" where I see how the rich struggle among themselves in an unending competition and war. I also saw how the poor have no place where the rich men of the society stand. As a poor man, you can't even afford to send your child to the same school the rich send their wards.
Here, the rich take the law into their own hands, they seem to get off with the most deadly crimes they commit. The poor on the other hand has to commit the slightest crime and they are buried to the ground. Since I have come to believe that having money is some sort of power in society, only the rich can wield such power and flex it as they want or desire. Not all rich men are bad anyways. Some great powerful individuals believed in social equality without considering their great influence and worth. But of course, there are good and bad eggs amongst the rich.
It may be quite impossible for equality to strive in society because not everybody will be rich, that's a harsh fact. But we could promote social equality to the highest level possible. The rich shouldn't oppress the poor because the poor don't have money. I have witnessed many incidents where many rich men should have been bought to the books but are still flaunting happily on the streets because they have bribed the police and other law enforcement agencies. There are many numbers of innocent people in prisons today who are suffering from the crime committed by the rich. Why? Because they don't have money to prove their innocence and they were imprisoned so that the rich man could go scotfree.
Perhaps we could all strive to become rich only but also strive to have a good quality of. behavior, to have empathy for our fellow human beings, and to uphold constitutional rights. Social equality can only strive when people have respect for others. Don't oppress the poor because you think they don't have money as you do. We all need each other as no one is all-sufficient. Maybe someday we could all be the same in status and worth in an egalitarian society. If this can be made possible I think we can live a peaceful life void of wars and unnecessary competition.
Should Time be wasted?
As I laid down on my bed yesterday night, trying to find sleep which wasn't coming fast enough send me into some deep reflections on how things have come by. I was lying on my bed with my phone while pressing it and listening to music with earphones plugged into my ears. Since ASUU (Academic staff union of universities) has embarked on an academic strike for more than 100 days now, I wasn't doing much back at school since schools have been closed. ASUU comprises the academic staff or lecturers under a collective union that serves as their body. Hence matters relating to the collective welfare of lecturers are taken up by ASUU.
So while lying on the bed yesterday night, I could not but reminisced about how the federal government and ASUU themselves have wasted our time in the disguise of embarking on useless strikes much more to our detriment as students. It was in the light of this thought that I checked my phone and I saw that the time read 11:59 pm yesterday which was May 30, 2022. Initially, I wasn't much intrigued by the time specifically because it seems normal to me. I know that it's normal for the time to read up to such a level before we enter into another brand new day, but I noticed something right away. What I noticed was that once it read from 11:59 pm to 12:00 am, there is already a fresh day that has come up, and that yesterday was already gone then. Somehow I was thrilled to see my phone changed from "Monday" to "Tuesday" by the virtue of the change of just one minute. It dawned on me yesterday when the 11:59 pm changed to midnight that no matter what I do I can't go back to the 11:59 pm again. It's long gone forever. Time is like money spent that cannot be retrieved back.
Well, I begin to reason why time is a very important factor in human lives and some light dawned on me. I saw that almost every decision in life is based on timing. As a lady, you are expected to go to school early so that you may be "early" going into marriage. Many believed that it's beneficial to marry early or timely so that you can bear your children and take care of them when you are still at your best. This is to show that people value the concept of time and all they wish is that they are always on time for whatever they do.
As a student in Nigeria, you have to pass through a compulsory one year of service to the federal government through a program called NYSC ( National Youth service corps). The certificate given to you upon the completion of a one-year service helps you to get government jobs within the country. But you can only go to serve the one year if you are not more than 30 years of age. That's why students always want to graduate early to serve within the age frame but it's quite unfortunate that numerous industrial strikes upon strikes in our schools today robbed many of our graduates of such chance.
While some actions by others can cause time problems for some people like the one illustrated above, what about others who by their actions cause delays in their own lives. Many people are constantly wasting their own time. Is it good wasting the time you should be investing in yourself? You can't regain the time you lost already. Are you in the business of doing irrelevant things that can't take you far in life?
Time is precious and also priceless. You've got to spend it wisely, no one has a monopoly on time and you can't have all the time to yourself. I hope you reflect on that.
Why I left my wife?
Marriages today have a lot of recorded divorce rates more than in the old times. Perhaps many people have come to the assumption that marriage in itself is a contract that can be canceled by either or both partners anytime they deemed fit Ir when there is some slight disagreement between the duo. In many cultures and traditions, marriage is seen as a do-or-die affair, which means that you are not expected to leave your marriage no matter the harsh realities that befall you in the course of the marriage. For some women, marriage has been a place where they received numerous abuse, violence, and maltreatment from their husbands. In many developing countries where the laws favor men more than women, many men have turned their wives into something else as a result of incessant beatings. But should this act go on?
Marriage in every place has challenges which means that marriage might not be a jolly ride all through with your partners. Hence some couples opt for divorce when they see that they see that things are not going to work together for them both. Why divorces in marriage may be grounded on many reasons, it may be from the husband's angle or the wife's. Howbeit, Studying what causes divorce among couples can help a long way in saving a lot of marriages out there. After all, Insignificant things sometimes can cause separation among couples. I could remember the story of a friend of mine who left his wife for a flimsy reason, the reason being that his wife cooks late or doesn't cook at all for him. I was a little bewildered over that. I asked him some questions too and I was even amazed at the answers that he gave me. It was in the light of the discussion that I observed that his wife has been in the habit of not cooking since they have been dating but the guy doesn't count it a big deal then. He was hoping she would change once she married him. Alas, that went wrong.
I always suggest marrying not because of beauty alone but consider other factors too before you guys conclude to marry one another. Careful study of your partner during dating or courtship can save you both a lot of unnecessary headaches in the future.
Sometimes I surfed the internet to see many different stories of why men leave their wives. Some claimed infidelity which can be so heartbreaking for men especially men that are faithful to their wives. Some even divorced their wives because their wives are dirty!. Sometimes as a bachelor I fear and dread going into marriage because of the stories you hear every day. You see a man who loves his wife dearly and is always ready to do everything for her only for the wife to be caught cheating on her man, such is always painful. If you are probably better off yourself without anybody else, then getting married might not be a great option for you. Many unmarried people are doing quite well in life. Don't go into marriage with an unknown person.
Marriage spans through life and you don't want to spend your life with a stranger. Go for that person who loved and respects you and what you do to him or her too. Sometimes when things get hot between you too the love keeps you going. If you don't love your partner but get married to him or her because of other reasons you might regret the marriage. To be forewarned is to be forearmed.
The Blessings of God; Abraham
By God original desire, Blessing is part of God's creative package for Man. The real blessings God gave Man is to have dominion. Parts of God's blessings includes fruitfulness; expansion or multiplication. God doesn't want excuses of not being fruitful. We are expected as God's children to fill up our spaces. Many of us have not attained our divine spaces on earth because we are not capable enough to occupy or fill up those spaces God has made for us.
Everybody has something deposited in him by God. No one is a zero or a nonentity.And God expected us to level up. Abraham in the bible was able to enjoy God's blessings because he was willing to obey God. Obedience cones before everything else. God must have tested his obedience many times and luckily Abraham passed all. You could imagine how Abraham passed through some tough spots in his lifetime. Firstly he had to leave his father's land and go to an unknown place under the command of God. Abraham also showed obedience even in the most difficult time. When God asked him to sacrifice his only child, he didn't even say no.
Abraham was a man of blessing, he was blesses beyond imagination and curse. During the days of Abraham, he was so rich and wealthy that he becomes the envy of many people. He became vast and great. Sometimes God's blessings comes in many unimaginable ways, higher than any form of human thinking. Remember the man called Obed Edom in the bible. He was a man that everyone has forgotten. I learnt from this man that people don't value the lives of the poor, they are always regarded as insignificant. If you want to command and have a say in the affairs of the world today, then you have to be powerful and one of such ways to be is to be wealthy and have money. The Ark of the covenant turned a poor Obed Edom to a rich man even though that's not the original intent of King David when he ordered the ark to be kept in the man's house.
God can bless us from absolute nothingness like Obed Edom. God could also decides to bless us through the works of our hands. The blessings of God could also be solidified when you obey the commands of God by paying your tithes as at when due; faithfully and consistently. Many people expect God's blessings buy they're not even ready to obey him by being faithful in payment of tithe. God doesn't reward dishonest people or people with dishonest means. You couldn't think His will bless a man involved in shady or dishonest way of living, like an armed robber.
As said earlier, blessings is a part of God's creative package for Man. God blessed man immediately after he created him. He asked them to be fruitful and multiply. Many times, people get blessed but they don't multiply their blessings. You can't be blessed by God and you still have poor friends besides you. It's like you were not blessed at all. God's blessings through you will turn all your poor friends to rich people through you, because God's blessings multiply. If God blesses you in your family it will reach the other members of your family too. But to attain God's blessings, you must be a child of God who keeps every if God's commandments and is ready to obey him.
Always eat good Food
Every Humans need food for survival, even other living things depends on food and water for survival. That means tomhat food and water is very important to man and that without it, man may not survive for a long time. Studies even revealed that while man may go some days without food, he may not last without water. Hence water and food is indispensable to humans as long as he lives. Apart from the fact that we need food and water to survive, there are also some other good functions of food. And that is why it is essential to eat good foods always for optimal health and well being. Even at times, some people especially in Africa don't care about what they eat. They only eat what they see available. Foods are in different varieties and also serves different functions. Some food helps us to gain more strength, some food helps us to grow and develop bodily. There are many other functions of food.
Till date, the only profession that endures the continuous existence of food products is Agriculture. If a nation does not embrace agriculture, many people will go hungry eventually. The outcome of not embracing agriculture will have many bad implications of which famine is inclusive. Either at commercial or subsistence level, agriculture has been a major provider of foods for people and the society at large. You will agree with me that a country that embraces agriculture never go out of food. Agriculture is a lucrative profession that serves generations. Many countries of today are known for their agricultural prowess. Some countries don't have first class machineries or invention to exchange in the world market, only agricultural products serve as their products of trade in the international market.
One popular axiom says, "We are what we eat". This shows that our health or well being depends on our diet,what we eat and take as food. One of the ways to keep away from sickness is through the consumption of fruits. Fruits like Apples helps to ward or fight off diseases in the body. If we eat good foods, we will be healthy and good. Bad diets constitute yo different problems in the body. Sometimes obesity is causes by consumption of junks food which affects a body in a negative way. Food is so much important that it cannot be overemphasized. Even for pregnant women, there are some categories of food needed for them to take and there are some kinds of food that may not be beneficial to them. A pregnant women needs balanced diet for herself and her unborn baby too.
Do you know what balanced diet constitutes? We have carbohydrates, protein, fats and oil, mineral salt, vitamins and water. The latter is essential to humans as water has many functions in the body. Water aids digestion and ensures food intake doesn't seem stressful. Even you need water to cook your meal. Water is life and we cannot survive without drinking water. It's important to stay hydrated always to prevent oxygen loss or asphyxiation.
Carbohydrates and fats are important for energy. Foods that comes under these classes of food like cereal, rice, yam, bread. etc help in giving energy to the consumer. You can't possibly go through the rigours of daily activities without having energy. We need energy to do our daily chores and all that.
Other classes of food have their distinctive functions too. Foods like beans, milk, meat comes under protein helps to build the body and helps to develop the body. Vitamins also helps the body and tissues in the body. Taking vitamins also helps to avoid many diseases from entering our body. To eat in a good way, it's important to acknowledge all these classes of food when preparing what to eat. Eat in the right proportion and according to your needs. Always eat the right food. It pays a lot.
What do you know about introverts 2
Have you ever had an introvert as friends? Can they be boring sometimes, or not socially active as you wanted them to be. I have seen many people I call friends or close ones do say I don't like going out, that I just prefer staying indoors all day. Sometimes they're right though it's not all day I stayed indoor. Many people thought I am probably proud because of my nature; which means that I don't usually talk to a lot of people just like most introverts do. Then, some people may interprete such habit in a wrong way, concluding that I'm probably a proud person, lol. Infact I can be the most humble person you ever meet.
Life as an introvert sometimes is not always something so easy. Friends will question you about why you are so quiet and not a talkative. Some introverts find themselves in a lot of pressure trying to adapt to other's interests and discarding their own personality. Eventually they hurt themselves, because they want to be like others who are outspoken and very popular.
As an introvert, I noticed that I prefer to putting my thoughts down to speaking or talking about it in words of mouth. I don't know if same applies for other introverts too. Basically I will rather preparing sending you a text message than picking my phone to call you. Calling people sometimes drains me and I feel uneasy. Introverts can be weird and sometimes it takes a lot to understand them and what they really want.
When considering public speaking or speech, introverts may come under a lot of pressure especially if they are shy too. It may not be an easy feat to achieve. All we know is that we have their brilliant words in our stomach but just don't know how to say it out. Sometimes I just imagine that people can actually read what's on my mind because no matter how much I presented those thoughts into words of mouth, it still doesn't sound adequate, it seems not enough to explain what I meant to say inwardly. I always wish I am more courageous and brave like my extroverts friends to air out my opinion.
For me speaking in public seems like a rocket science for me, difficult to understand. Verily I do envy people who speak eloquently and without flaws in public and especially among large gatherings.
Except an introvert initiate a conversation, they don't usually fancy long talks especially those that didn't interest them in any way. That's why sometimes introverts may hide from someone they know in public because they don't want to meet with them, some reasons may include trying to avoid unnecessary long talks and stuffs like that. Many people believe that because of the weird things introverts do that they may not actually fits into a society which is wrong. Introverts are as important as extroverts in a society. We are unique and shouldn't feel inferior to our fellow introverts.
How do you know you're an introvert?
1. You don't have large circle of friends. Only a small circle of friends who you hold very dear. Introverts don't make much friends like extroverts do.
2. You're not the one to raise up your hand at very questions being thrown out to the class by the teacher. You are probably contented knowing the answer and just don't want the attention to yourself.
3. You think best, do things best when you are alone by yourself and not mixing up with crowds.

Living alone yourself or living under your parents?
You will never know the cost of living in true liberty if you are dependent on somebody else. A dependant knows no cost of living in liberty without depending on someone else for support either financial or whatsoever. Likewise for as person who is not depending on someone else, living on his or her own means, you won't know how sweet sometimes to be supported or dependent on someone else.
As growing adults, some of us are questioned with whether to break free from the control of our parents and just stand alone. In all sincerity, thinking in this wise isn't big deal or something to be labeled bad. sometimes people reach the age of self awareness whereby they want to fully try to take responsibilities for their actions. Living in liberty or still depending on your parents all depends on you. The problem some people have is that they want the liberty life more without considering the costs of living such life. Living a free life entails that as a young adult you have a steady means of income that will help you to take care of yourself without anyone assistance.
From the little study I did, I realized that without thinking much, most people especially young adults prefer the free life to living under the control of their parents. This is so because they believed that while they are living freely, nobody will dictate for them and they can live as they wish. But one of the first thing to consider before considering the liberty life is to check the amount of money in your pocket. Ask yourself if you'd really scale through with that meagre amount of money. Do you have a steady source of income to sustain yourself? If no you can't make the choice of living free life yet. That is why you still see many grown up adults still living under their wings of their parents because they don't have the means to live alone.
Another thing to consider is your level of maturity. Some parents are even ready to let go of their children to living alone because their children possess some good level of maturity. If you are not matured fully, living alone from parents may pose a greater risks because of your immature behaviors.
What amaze me sometimes is that once in a while when the going get though, people under the auspices of their parents and are dependent on them wish they live a free life without depending on them. This may be so especially when they're pained with some of their parents' actions or other reasons, they imagine they won't have went through those unpleasant situations if they were alone. Yet it's not one way thing, sometimes things get hard for those living alone and living the liberty life. Once in a while they imagine things won't have become so hard as it's come to be if they are under their parents and depending on them. That's to explain that either life isn't the best. It all depends on the situation you find yourself.
If you fancy a life of independence, you must be ready to bear the costs and prove yourself. Living alone especially in a harsh economy is not rosy as you have to work extra hard. Life under your parents roof is not forever too especially if you are a male, you have to realize that life starts at the end of the comfort zone. Although sometimes in life we all need to be under someone like our parents to aid their own way of developing before moving out independently.
A mother's love
When it comes to knowing some priceless thing that seems very invaluable in life, a mother's love comes onboard. The love of a mother is so great and vast that it cannot be quantified or measured. A loving mother is even willing to do everything without minding the cost to give the best to her children. It's only a loving mother who will try to give up her life to save her child's own. In life, mothers are indispensable and for people who have lost their mother, it's always very difficult to fill that void. Because no matter how nice a person may seems to you, they can never feel the void of a mother to you. That's why an orphan who has no parents especially mother suffers more in life. Mothers play an indispensable role in life. Without them life will not be so rosy.
I could remember back then when I was still a very little child who needs guidance in everything I want to do. I see my mother always supporting me and guiding me. One thing about good mothers is that they are always ready to support you and render every help you need to become a better version of your own self. My mum then will wake up early to cook for the family before taking me to school. I was always very happy to be by her side anytime I m going to school back then. My mummy seems like my greatest confidante I can tell all things to. I gist with her a lot as a kid and as an adult, I don't hide anything from her.
Talking about the love of a parent, it's not that fathers don't love the children too, I'm only talking from the peculiarities of woman's love rather than that of the father. By nature, women are always the best when it comes to caring or house keeping. That's why in some culture, women are regarded as house keeper. They make sure everything is fine in the house and keep it in order. Mothers can play with everything not their children's welfare.
Mothers are the first teachers to their children. As a child you have to learn many things from your mom even before learning them at school. Moral lessons especially are things you learn first at home before even being taught at school. A mother teaches her child how to eat and how to greet responsibly in the society. She teaches good manners to her children. The Society we are in today seems so bad due to the fact that some bad eggs in the society were not properly brought up and trained by their parents. A child well brought by his or her mother will not go astray and caused havoc later in the society.
Often times when a child fall sick, who knows first between the dad and mum? It's always been the mother to know that her child is sick and not feeling fine. It's always a mother's instinct. Back then when I was still a little one I could remember falling sick many times and my parents doing everything they can to make me feel better by taking me to the hospital and doing everything to restore my health. A good mother will disclose right away that you are not feeling good and should take drugs. Even as an adult, I call her sometimes and she can sense from my voice anytime I felt tired or stressed up.
Another peculiarity of mother's love is that she doesn't stop believing in her child's dreams. Many times many people in some point in life don't care about our dreams or aspirations, but not like our moms. Moms are very wonderful beings who is ready to assist us in every ways for us to achieve our dreams. If you don't have money, you might not be loved by others, your girl friend may resent you for being poor but your mother can never resent you. Mummies are great and they're the greatest of all times. That has been proven over and over.
If you've still got your mum alive, do everything to appreciate that rare treasure. They are truly a gem.
Associating with evil companions?
**EVIL COMPANIONS WRECK GOOD NAME.**
Sometimes in life, we come across people that we relate together, much more like friends. There are different types of friends, we can have the good ones as well as the bad ones. Associating yourself with good friends will do you a lot of good than bad friends. Bad or evil companions will only do you more harm than good. Do you know that cultism is a bad association and full of evil companions. Many youths today have identified themselves with many different cults and jeopardize their future as a result of that.
Evil companions breeds bad morals. You can't have bad companions as friends and you suppose you are a good person. A man's nature is reflected in the kind of friends he keeps. If you see a calm or gentle person, it will be very hard for such person to befriend people that are so lousy and uncoordinated. This is to show that a man's character is reflected in the friends he or she keeps. Evil companions can't do you any good except evil. Some people met with their untimely death because they associated themselves with evil companions. For instance, cultists fight occasionally among themselves to show supremacy and dominance. Often a times, many lives do get lost during this fight which includes the lives of some unlucky fellow cultists. You can't have good companions as friends and have some bad consequences. Bad association and companion is deadly and should be stayed away from.
Evil companions should be refused by all cost, for their kindness is a trick and they only want to use you as their own pawn and drop you off when you feel useless to them. If you find yourself in the midst of some really bad friends but you are blindfolded by their kindness to you, then you are really going a long way down. They will eventually reveal their true colors soon or later and you will see that you have been tricked all along. Evil friends don't have any good plan or intention towards you, they just want their evil deeds to penetrate more and won't mind who they use to achieve their evil ways. Evil companions can disrupt your progress in life because evil companions hinders true growth and development.
It's always ideal to know the type of companion or association you want to be identify with. Truth is we can't just be alone without any social contact. For some people, friends are made on daily basis. It's better to be alone with being in or among bad company. Bad friends can do you a lot of harm than you can ever imagined. One of the very reasons why a student may not succeed or excel in school is not because he or she is not brilliant, but because such student associated himself or herself with bad friends who distracted her focus and zeal to succeed. Bad friends will encourage you to do evil things and see it as normal. Bad friends are the ones that will encourage you not to go for classes while your mates are there already. Some people started taking hard drugs because all of their evil friends are into one hard drugs or the other and they don't want to be left out.
To fight your way out of bad companion, you need a strong resolution because it's not always easy especially when you have been onto them for so long. But you must remember that they don't have any good thing to offer you except that they wanted to destroy you and corrupt you. Refuse them, for they eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence.
Life of an Introvert
We are all different when it comes to personality differences. By nature or nurture, some are known to be extroverted and outspoken. You see them every time and every where. Extroverts are not hard to notice among the crowds, unlike their introverts partners or colleagues. Sometimes nature or nurture depends on which influence our personality trait, in terms of whether we are introverted or extroverted. Many people gets unit baseless argument on which one is the best. The truth is no personality can be considered the best, whether introversion or extroversion. It all boils down to how best you make use of who you are to develop yourself and people around you.
For extroverts, they are people you possibly can't do without, they are the ones that you see most when you go to social gatherings or meetings. They are easily identifiable. Extroverts do everything in the open so it's possible to know many things about them. This is not so for introverts who deals in a secretive manner. They don't keep a lot of friends like the extroverts do. They don't want too much attraction to themselves in the public. They don't relate much with the social world like the extroverts do.
Introverts likes to be alone rather than walking the whole town in the midst of friends. They draw their energy from being alone with themselves or few people they feel close and connected to. Not all introverts are antisocial like most people think. There are still many introverts out there who have a good social life with others, it's just that they still prefer their own personal space and time above all things.
One thing I love more about introverted individuals is that they are always great listeners and observers. Introverts may be good for detective jobs. Because introverts are easy going and not lousy in nature, they can diligently seat down to study whoever they want to know about. They are always focused and determined when embarking on any work, since most of their motivation comes from the internal, that keeps them going amidst all odds.
THINGS YOU SHOULDN'T DO TO AN INTROVERTS.
1. DON'T DISRESPECT OR SHOUT AT THEM IN PUBLIC.
For some introverts, they will find it very embarrassing and ashamed to be embarrassed or disrespected by others in public. Introverts by nature always want to avoid large people or large social gathering. If you then decided to talk down on them using their weakness then it will really have a very bad effect on them. You can always settle and reconcile with your introverted friends over the disagreement between you both in private. Introverts like things involving them to be in private. So don't make the mistake if trying to embarrass or disrespect them in public, they may hate you forever.
2. DON'T EXPOSE THEIR SECRETS BECAUSE THEY OPENED TO YOU.
For an introvert to open to you and tell you his or her life secrets, it means you mean so much to him or her. Introverts only open up to people that seems close to them. Don't betray their trust in you by acting in an unintelligent manner. Extroverts may spill out their life stories to strangers without feeling any remorse, that's not so for introverts because it's not in their nature to talk anyhow. They're reserved as the same can be said to how they speak with others.
