To study yes or no?
In some places, I have read writings where people say that it is not necessary to study because, in the long run, it does not bring them the certainty that they will be successful people.
I want to give my personal opinion without wanting to belittle other people's thoughts, I just want to say or express my feelings about it.
When I became aware that I was studying to educate myself and not others, I was already 15 years old. Just at that time, I decided to study a career that would make me generate income to get out of my condition as a poor citizen to a middle-class citizen. In my country, there were three categories, poor class, middle class, and upper class.
When I knew that I had to get out of poverty and that I had to study and make an effort to achieve it, I studied hard to deserve the prizes that at that time were won by students. I was not an excellent student but I was always at an average level, where I always passed the subjects in my final exams and some of which I didn't need to take because I was excellent.
Both in my first career and in college I always excelled on my own merits because I knew that I would strive to get what I most wanted.
When I got my first higher technical degree I decided to work and not continue studying but I was far from thinking that everything would end there. Little by little in my mind was introduced the little worm of knowledge and I wanted to continue learning after 4 years of working I decided to go to college under my own means to continue studying.
Each time I learned things that I would not have learned if I had not gone to college. The lessons I learned have helped me to improve my quality of life as a human being and as a professional.
I am now a senior citizen and I am still learning. I am still reading about pathologies that I did not know before and about ways to face situations that I did not know before.
Every time I see pathology in a patient I feel the need to go back and read some more and understand a little more about how the human organism works. I think this will never stop boiling in my mind. I feel that I will never stop having questions and looking for the answers in books, in writings, in congresses, and in seminars.
I feel that I am eternally grateful to God for allowing me to have this part in my mind that always wants to learn new things. I am not a wealthy woman but with what I have I have been able to raise my life since I turned 15 years old, without having to depend on anyone.
Am I a wealthy, rich woman? No, I am not, at least I don't consider myself that way, although others who see me think differently.
That I am a successful woman? That also depends on what is considered successful.
That I have been able to obtain everything I have wanted to buy in my life? Yes, I have. Always working hard and with effort, I was able to get everything I planned to have.
I can say today that I am at peace with myself because I am not afraid of anyone and no one is looking for me to settle debts. I am happy because what I learned to be a professional also taught me to grow as a human being.
I learned to believe in myself and to have more self-confidence even though I still have some introvertedness, but I got out of that condition almost 70%. I learned to respect everyone equally and to value myself as a professional and as a person. To live calmly with my son and not wait for others to come to me but to go after them.
Thanks to God, today I am free to think and enjoy what I am and I thank my knowledge acquired during my years of study.
So personally if I were born again I would do the same career with some corrections but feel fulfilled as a person and as a professional.

If we want to, we can
Sometimes we are not satisfied with the life we have because we think that the life of others is better. We see the smiles of others, we see how they walk through life and because we do not know what their true reality is, we dare to think that they are very lucky and we are not.
Sometimes by not being grateful for the things we have we end up losing everything, by daring to leave our life with the little and try to reach something that is far from belonging to us.
Because we do not know how people achieve their triumphs, envy eats away at us and we think that we are the ones who should have everything that person has to his or her credit. We think we deserve everything and more.
We are far from knowing what sacrifices this person or the people we dare to judge and at the same time envy.
It happened once that a duckling wanted to be free as the chicks were. He saw them running and eating all over the place, this duckling felt trapped because his life was in a small space where he only had a roof and food. Every day he would see how the chicks would run out of the coop and peck all over the floor in search of food, and late in the afternoon they would return to the coop and go back to their respective places with their parents.
So, the duckling thought hard about a strategy to get out of the place where he was. He talked to the other ducklings and told them that they should get out of there and have a life like the chicks, to be free to forage for their food and then return home in the evening.
He convinced some of them and they disguised themselves as chicks, so they were eating all day outside their place looking for their food and most importantly feeling free. In the afternoon they returned to their place sneaking under the fence of their place of confinement. This way no one noticed that they were out.
They stayed like this for a few days and every day more and more ducklings were convinced that this life was the best. They accompanied him, until one day it started to rain, and they huddled together wherever they could, while all the chicks ran away with the help of their wings and reached their nests and joined their mothers in the henhouse.
The disguised ducklings could not run as fast, their heavy bodies did not allow them to run fast and they could not reach the place where they were taking shelter as the water was filling the place with heavy rain. The frightened ducklings found a place to stay. At least it wasn't raining there, but little by little it was filling up with water from the sky. The little ones could not survive the cold of the night, wet and far from their parents.
Many ducklings died during the night. In the morning the first duck was alive, scared, and wet, he didn't know what to do. He looked beside him and saw his siblings, all of whom were frozen to death and those who were alive and decided to return home now without disguises and their parents happy to see some of them... still alive.
The duckling learned his lesson, that even if he sees others rejoicing with what they have at that moment he must fight for what he wants with his tools without risking his life or the lives of others in his envious plans to get ahead.
So it happens with people, they undervalue themselves for seeing that others get more and they only do and look for ways to imitate them without achieving the same original effect. Because many times what is good for some is not the same for others.
Everyone has the capabilities that they have obtained in life, their failures, their sacrifices, and their efforts are not known to us. Let us avoid envying others. Let us try to bring out our knowledge to do something original, and useful and that together with the failures and efforts allow us to bring out the best of us to be successful, capable, and original.

A memory, a life.
When I am close to death I feel such a strange sensation in my mind. Why is it that when someone dies I see myself in that reality? Because life is ethereal we don't live forever but that's how I feel almost all the time as if I am going to live forever and then I have to open my eyes and see that there is another reality different from the one I am living now.
There is death all around me. Friends die, neighbors die, family members die, and even my pets that are part of my life die. Now I am thinking about my dead pets and how cruel their death was. Because I could not do anything more for them to save them and yet I think I could, but I could not do more.
What is certain is that there is death life is the beginning and death is the end of the bodies we have. Now my thoughts evoke the times of my youth and remember that I was young, strong, daring, and rebellious, that I never thought that death would reach me because I had a lot of strength.
As the years go by I now see myself so vulnerable and I feel how she, death, is getting closer and closer to me. I don't know when my time will come, I can't know that. The only thing I hear and see is that there is someone who is already gone, someone with whom I shared my life. People that I had as my co-workers, or as my friends. Under different circumstances they were alive and full of plans and today they are gone, their plans vanished as well as their lives.
Their memories remain in my mind, in my life. They are gone and they took a little bit of me with them. They are gone and still, a part of them remains in me. Until the day when I too have to leave and my memories go with them.
Life is a breath. So much is done in life and yet so little seems to be done. Remembering seems like yesterday and the thought is so short that a lifetime fits in a moment.
Living, I try to live in peace, happy with my memories and hoping that one moment when it will be my time I will have to leave too.

The garden
I went out to take pictures of my garden of some plants that are growing very well. Once again a squash plant has hatched. It has done so in the spot where I have my little 2-year-old land tortoise, Tromkin. There my pumpkin plant was born and the tortoise was feeding on the small leaves but there came a time when the leaves overtook in quantity and managed to spread a lot. Now there are enough flowers and the little pumpkins are growing.
My old spinach plant disappeared but left a lot of seeds. I sowed some and again it has spread in the same place as the old one only this plant has thrown some more seeds into the ground and from there other plants have been born. They are all spreading on the railings in my living room. There is plenty to harvest and I can share with family and friends.
In January I planted several turmeric and ginger rhizomes but not all of them wanted to germinate as the Atlantic storms are moving more towards the Caribbean these last few months we now have some sporadic storms and allow my plants to receive these waters from the sky. Now they are all germinating.
The fig plant was filled with a pest that would not bud with natural homemade products, so I had to prune it as small as possible and wait for the sprouts to germinate. It is now leafy again and full of small figs.
The pomegranate plant is also blooming, I just noticed that it is throwing small flowers and so is the soursop plant. It has had many flowers that do not grow to fruition. I must get serious about re-potting my plants. This coming week I must get the humus fertilizer and change the soil in the pots to get the fruits to grow.
This beautiful coffee plant is developing very well in the shade of my dwarf banana plants.
Behind the coffee plant are my red chile plants growing and fruiting. There are few fruits as the heavy storms wash all the soil out of the ground and I have to refill the place with compost.
And this is what else I could see growing again in my garden and pots. Although there are several new cacti this will be another post.
All photographs are my own taken with my Redmi note 9.

Slavery in the mind.
Today I am writing to you because I believe that there are people who think that I go through life smiling and singing all the time because I am happy or at least I feel that I am.
No, I am a common woman of those that you see every day in the streets, but when I speak you can tell the difference, because wherever I go without knowing anyone, I say good morning, and I smile at them. Because if I need something from somewhere I ask for permission and when they give me something or I am the one who gives it I always have a thank you to give with my smile.
Because even if my day is not very good and I have pain in my heart my courtesies with others do not leave me bad. I also have problems like everyone else.
My heart is sometimes sad because it observes the injustices of man. Because I empathize with my patients when I treat them because when they tell me about their health misfortunes I am moved and feel deep sorrow for them. I like to treat my patients as I like to be treated myself.
I feel and have always felt, empathy for the pain of others. I fight for these feelings to be released because I like to give them to God so that He can see for all those who need Him.
When I speak of forgiveness, I speak from my heart. We must fight fiercely against our irrational emotion of hating those who hurt us and bless the good. Try to drive away as quickly as possible from our being the vile feeling of hating. No one else but ourselves is hurt so much by that feeling.
That I never hated strongly? Of course, I did... I hated with all my strength and I wished for evil too. When I learned to forgive, I first had to ask God for forgiveness for myself, I had to start forgiving myself first and then I had to tear that low feeling out of my heart. I can say today that I do not hate anyone, I forgive. I can't forget the offenses; I remember them because that is teaching but I no longer have a corner in my being that tells me to hate someone because they act like an evil being.
Don't think that I am lying to you, I went through the petty feelings of hate, rage, envy, and lying, just like many people have gone through but the best thing in my life, and I thank God is that I learned to leave them behind.
My heart today is not tormented by those vile feelings. From time to time as every human being wants to surface a bad feeling... yes, sometimes it happens but sooner rather than later comes to my mind the positive thought, the gratitude to God for filling my heart with peace, and I calm down.
Believe me, there is no better feeling than to live in peace without resentment, envy, or hatred. The slavery of thought is in you and you will only be able to free yourself from everything when you set your mind to it.
I invite anyone who does not believe that this can be achieved to practice it, not only in your mind but in your heart and you will see that soon you will be writing the same as I write, from my heart for all my readers.
Thank you for your comments and visits.

The story that never came
Everything we fear so far is what we have learned in life from both triumphs and failures. I dare say that we learn more from failures because they force us to keep on learning to start all over again.
On many occasions we are wrong when we dare to insinuate that someone's triumph is just because they were lucky... but have we stopped to see what their path to success has been like?
I have known many people who have spent a lifetime struggling because their lives have been marked by failure and then when after much effort, after much falling and getting up they have achieved success someone around them dares to say that they have been lucky.
That's what they call it, luck, those who could not fight and achieve their desires and have succeeded is failure time after time and still fail to mature their plans to success.
Nobody wants to live on failures but sometimes they are necessary because they are steps that we climb to model a prominent future.
There are people who, after struggling a lot and almost at the point of beginning to reap the fruits of their sacrifices, must go through a traumatic experience or their life simply ends. We men who do not understand God's designs dare to say that he was in his prime and that life blinded him forever.
This is when we must remember that our plans are not the same as God's plans for us. That is why in some cases our plans are frustrating and we do not achieve anything from that angle by changing one variable the whole path to success is also changed.
Only God knows what is best for us and He knows perfectly well how many falls and how many times He will pick us up to take us to where He wants us to be.
On many occasions, I have repeated and will continue to say that we must be grateful for the good and also for the bad. Because not everything good is really good for us and not everything bad is necessarily bad for our life. Everything is chained together. Our life is a tangle and we must weave our threads of the web in the best way so that when it is our turn to unravel, we find the magic spot.
Today I wanted to tell a fictional story and as I tried to write the beginning of my story, I got more and more inspired to write other things and the story never really came together in my mind. So, I think the text is directed to that someone, that somehow this will help him to understand a little why his life currently seems chaotic but he must realize that nothing happens arbitrarily and everything has a meaning. Later on, you will understand it.
Keep looking for your end of the web because the beginning is already done. Thank you for your comments and visit.

How are you today?
I used to think that when I felt sad I should listen to melancholic music, nothing more absurd than that. It's like when we feel disappointed or are going through pain caused by love then we decide to choose the saddest songs with the cruelest lyrics to remind us of our misfortune.
I think that's part of our self-destructive thinking. Feeling worse than we already are by hearing more sadness all around us, because of those thoughts I had in the past, today I see things from another angle and feel more alive. Music is an excellent motivator for our mood if we want to be happy we should listen to very happy music and dance and sing happy tunes but if on the contrary we want and wish to cry and feel the worst in the world, the most miserable in life then we should listen to music that reminds us of the betrayals of the human being.
What would you choose to feel happy? To cry to the songs or to celebrate with them? In my current time, I reject sadness I always choose to be joyful. I always choose to wake up and be grateful for the new day even though everything is coming at me. Nothing is eternal, not even bad situations are eternal, everything passes, everything has a cycle and we must learn to respect them, wait patiently doing what must be done to avoid falling into regrets and move forward.
You can also smile when you are sad but it is not ideal. The thing is not that we should smile if we feel bad, no, it is not that, the thing is that we must let this feeling of sadness pass as far as it reaches but without extending ourselves to it. Because life goes on, you know? Life does not stop because we are sad and we cry, or we complain, it continues its course.
That's why we must get up, wash our faces, and keep going forward, towards the new destiny to follow and the frank smile will appear again with what you get along the way, God will surely put flowers on your path and accompany you while you are in sorrow.
Be brave, life goes on with or without you. So take advantage of the magical moments we have to show that we are alive, that we are not dead wandering in a valley of sadness.
Remember that God always takes you by the hand when you are sad to make you come out of your melancholy. He always wants us to come out of the suffering fast.
So I ask you... even knowing that He is accompanying you in your sadness, are you still sad? No, I don't think so. Live, be happy, and always go forward hand in hand with God.
You know, when I started writing this I was a little sad because of the things I hear happening in my country, writing all this has lifted my spirits. Thanks to you who read and comment on my posts.

Trying to be happy.
Why is it so easy for us to criticize people we don't know or, even worse, to judge anyone because we believe we have the right to judge people.
We criticize everything we don't like, everything that is different from us. If it’s fat, if it’s skinny, if it’s old, if it’s young and much more when it comes to colors. If it is red, yellow, black or I don't know how many other things.
We can never be an advanced society unless we come to our senses and stop being so selective and exclusionary according to our closed mindset.
The best way I have been able to find to live in peace is to let people be the way they are. Sometimes they seem strange to us in the way they behave but that does not detract from their importance as human beings.
We came into this world to be happy; this means that we must find our best way to get through difficult situations, learn from them and move on. Allowing other people to do with their lives what they can do best, of course I start from the idea that these people who turn away because they think they are different from others do not try to force everyone to be the same as them.
Because then we will be the same as most people, trying to judge, trying to change the world and that we all have the same thought.
That cannot be. Everyone has their own crystal of vision to evaluate their existence and to try to live life in the best possible way, without having to go through the judgment detectors that do not respect the forms, ideas and beliefs of others.
I know it’s impossible to achieve because we live in a world that has many prejudices, that want to have the power of truth in their hands and want everyone to manage their life as those who have the power want it. I believe that people who are introverted, maybe not one hundred percent, but we feel at peace separated from the great masses that try to control everything.
There is a song that I used to sing when I was a little girl and it said... "I would like to be civilized like the animals" It referred to all animals, they give us many lessons on how to behave in a community and with others.
Most people feel good when they belong to groups and are supported by them. I prefer not to belong to anyone and not to be controlled by anyone. I’m not interested in the judgment of others because I learned to live on my own merits. I learned from a young age that if I worked hard, I could get what I wanted, that I should not be waiting to be approved or disapproved to be a person at peace with myself.
This is me, the plant lady or cat lady, whatever you want to call me. I don't judge or care if they judge me. I try to live in peace with the majority around me and if I can't, then with the minority, but I like to be at peace. I try to be happy in the way I know how, I hope you too can find your balance to be able to live without prejudice with others.
Thank you for your comments and visits as always.

Can we be a person of integrity?
It happens too often that we do not learn to live in community. This does not mean that we should live inside our neighbors' houses, no, not at all. The way to live harmoniously is not to be a nuisance to others, not to be rude to others, no one has the secret formula for the best coexistence but being considerate enough not to bother others in the same way we don't want to be bothered is one way to start.
It happens that most of us don't put ourselves in other people's shoes and like to listen to our favorite music at whatever volume we want and late at night, or just without knowing if we have sick people at home and the music is a scandal.
Nor do we collaborate with maintaining order, cleanliness, cooperation in the community. I do not know why it is so hard to put ourselves in the place of others, why we like to be aggressors of the lives of others.
When we go to a place where there are people in line to get in, we arrive late but we put ourselves in front of them, our time is more valuable than that of others.
And the worst thing is that we consider that we are more resourceful than others because I arrived last and passed everyone else and now, I am already shopping first. I did my shopping, paid for my groceries, and I was chatting with someone on the way. What was the priority I had?
It's not that our time is busier than everyone else's it's that we want to prove to everyone that we are smarter and more resourceful by riding roughshod over everyone else's rights.
If we fall into such procedures someone else will do it next time too, because they can do it too and this way of being so disrespectful ends up being a habit in the community.
In front of many we look like inconsiderate and disrespectful people and in front of others we are really ingenious for being clever and doing our will without respecting the rules.
It saddens me to see how in a community we praise those who do all kinds of disrespect to the neighbors and no one can make them aware of how bad they do. When we learn to do good without being corrected, to respect others without the need to be seen in public doing the right thing, then we will be growing as people and as a community.
In these days I read how in a city in a country of the world some people have some artisan food stalls and place their handicrafts on tables in the mornings, on the side of the road and after placing them with their respective prices they leave them there and, in the afternoon, they pass by collecting their tables and the money that people have paid for the products they have taken.
Do you think that in your country or in your city you can do this and trust the buyers? In my country this is not possible.
In another country I read how people take a tikec to park and pay for the time they will be there, nobody attends them. They just pass by, take the tikec and pay and then at the end of their hours they leave without disturbing or exceeding their time.
I could not do this in my country either. We will always try to leave without paying, as long as in our mind we are not honest we will never find honest possibilities of how to be a good citizen who does not disturb the neighbor, who does not disturb others and who is considerate of the rules.
Being honest is a matter of ourselves, cultivating our affections and rejecting defects is a matter of making us better people for ourselves, regardless of others.
What do you think about it, wouldn't you like to live in cities like this, where you trust each other?
Thank you very much to all of you my commenters and voters and to the new sponsors.

Blessings for acts of kindness
Sometimes we think that acts of kindness or acts of humanity, however you want to call it, should be paid for by the people to whom we do good. I think there is a misconception of what it is to do good.
Man by nature is not good, he is always selfish, envious, egocentric and with false modesty. It is very strange when in thousands of people we find the opposite behavior.
When we act as we should be unselfish and kind it is not, we who do it, it is our good spirit that acts. Why don't we put our best self to do good things for others without expecting anything in return? Expecting the people, we help to return the favor is selfish and it is also traumatic.
Why traumatic? Because if that person thinks of being our enemy after we help him/her, we say that he/she is ungrateful. No sir, that is wrong in front of us and others. People are the way they are and we never know them completely. Do good and don't expect favor in return. Set yourself free and expect acts of kindness to be repaid in life by a very different path than the one we expect.
Try to do good wherever you go and expect that the good you do will be repeated to another person and that chains of kindness will be made. The act of kindness you give now can later be given to another person who will thank God for the good deeds.
You know what? You will be sprinkled with those blessings because you have contributed to another person also having acts of kindness to another stranger who will repeat your action.
Good deeds always bring an echo of kindness that echoes back in many directions. Let us bring out our best acts of kindness to others. And you will see how your doors open to receive many blessings from other sides.
Have I seen it…?
Yes, I have experienced it, because when I receive so many nice things every day, I just smile with the person and with my heart. Therein lies my gratitude to the Lord for allowing me to receive the blessings of unexpected acts from strangers.
I am not going to write about my acts of kindness because it would no longer be kindness but sponsorship of me, what I suggest is that we do this test of doing good without seeing to whom and wait with our hearts glad that this person will thank another stranger, then we will receive more blessings in all directions.
Do you agree with my particular way of doing good?
Do you have another way of looking at things because of the blessings you have personally received?
Tell me not the good you have done, because you lose the grace if you tell it, just tell me the blessing you have received if you want to share it.
Life is full of many mysteries and this mystery of the mercy of kindness with strangers is something so beautiful that we do not get to know about something we did and the changes that it achieved in the person, but every day when so many good things happen to you you can only think that you are receiving the splashes of blessings for the deeds done to others.

Does fear help you or paralyze you?
Have you ever felt fear? Fear is a defense mechanism of our body to prepare us for danger. Sometimes it can be real but sometimes it can be imaginary. Fears must be faced; it is not advisable to hide from them because sooner or later you will have to face them.
Feeling fear is not bad because physiologically it prepares our organism to defend ourselves against an aggressor element. When we feel fear the sympathetic system is triggered and begins to produce a series of substances such as adrenaline that allows us to control the body to be alert and feel nothing but strength to fight against the aggressor.
Adrenaline helps us not to feel the fear that paralyzes but responds in animal form, it helps us not to feel other different things, it is as if it separates us from pain, space or time, and only gives us to resist the fear that we have at that point.
When there is fear, we are stronger, we dare to fight against threats that duplicate our physical strength but at that moment the adrenergic discharge helps us to believe that we can overcome the imminent danger.
We cut ourselves, we fall and it does not hurt, we continue to fight against the aggressor agent and fear through adrenaline separates us from anything other than thinking that we can overcome it.
There is also the pathological fear, the one that the person feels that he/she cannot. That someone must come and help, otherwise he/she will not be able to live. The fear that we feel when we see an animal that attacks us, that animal that is small and terrifying, a spider, a cockroach, a butterfly. Those insects make us think that they will attack us and we are already defeated, we feel that the adrenaline paralyzes us and we only emit a cry for help, of fright.
What happens if no one can come to our aid? Do we let ourselves be dragged by the aggressors; do we continue to scream? What happens to us?
If we allow our mind to tell us that we cannot fight against what is attacking us, we will simply not succeed, but if we fight the feeling of fear, then we will defeat our imaginary enemies.
Our organism is prepared to overcome obstacles. If we allow fears to minimize us, it is not that they are really great aggressors, it’s our mind that conceives them that way and we end up defeated. Our organism is prepared with tools to fight hand to hand with enemies that surpass us in size, in speed, even in intelligence, if we put our mind and our strength to fight, we will succeed, but if on the contrary we consider ourselves defeated, then we will be defeated.
Feeling fear is a defense weapon of the organism that can act to help and can also be our enemy, depending on the way we face it. Fear can paralyze us; it can alter our excretory system both urinary and intestinal and it can also depress the respiratory system. Everything will depend on us and our mind to face stressful situations and aggressive agents.
It’s not bad to be afraid, it’s bad not to face it. It is bad to let ourselves be carried away by fears unfounded by small insects that are more afraid of us. It is necessary to fight against these fears of insects, reptiles or even people.
To prepare our mind is to prepare our body before the different situations of fear that day by day are presented to us.
Going to a psychologist when we cannot control unfounded fears is necessary. They give us tools such as exercises that will free us from such pathological fears that are unbearable in our life. This is my best advice for people who do not overcome small fears and magnify them to such an extent that they do not overcome them by themselves.
Thank you, reader friends, and to my sponsors who have graciously restarted their sponsorship renewal.

Why do we lie?
Why we feel so attracted to tell lies? Lies are a type of tool we use every day to free ourselves from responsibility, while it is true that we all lie, it does not mean that it is a good decision to choose to lie instead of speaking the truth.
Many times, we are tempted to speak lies to cover up our inabilities or irresponsibilities in life. Being late for an appointment, failing to fulfill a responsibility, having to tell a lie in the face of someone's questions in order to know the truth.
For Christians, lying is a sin. It’s one of the commandments of the law, not to lie. There are no exceptions to get rid of the sin, there are no small exceptions that say you can only lie when you are justified or when you tell a lie that we call pious for our convenience. No, the commandment says you shall not lie.
There are no ways to get out of having to tell the truth and yet in the face of this great truth of the commandment we dare to lie on a daily basis. We dare to find ways to justify ourselves to tell lies.
It’s part of being human to lie, but in some it is a disease. Yes, Mythomania is the act of lying in such a way that the person lives in their world of lies as if it were real. They feel the need to lie compulsively.
Is lying necessary? No, it is not necessary. Telling the truth is the thing that leaves the best sensation in the body because at the very moment you tell the lie, the body already begins to feel the weight of consciousness. So why don't we take it back at that very moment and tell the truth?
Because we have pride, to say that we lie is like lowering ourselves to an inferior level and we do not expect to do such a thing because there is nothing better than the feeling of being superior to others. Feeling that we have the power, the power to lie, to win, to have superiority over others.
We do not realize that the lie has short legs and that at any moment the truth has more weight and comes to light. That is when we are discovered and we look like liars.
There are so many ways to lie, when we promise something and we don't deliver, we lie, when we say we will do a task and we don't do it, we lie, when we make an appointment with someone and leave them waiting, we lie, when we say we have an award or recognition and it is someone else who won it but that makes us feel better with others, we lie.
It’s a feeling of momentary gain to lie. Why then the weight that the lie itself brings to our body is worse than having told the truth.
I know mythomaniacs that throughout my existence have passed through my life. They have even been my friends and I have realized that lying is part of their superficial life and the worst thing is that as it is a disease, they cannot get out of it and they weave a kind of spider's web that they do not know how to untangle, until it falls under the weight of the truth.
I think we must get out of the habit of telling lies, with words that tell a truth that does not hurt but that in the end is the truth.
Sometimes people come to my house at times when I am practicing something important to me, to the point that I tell my son that if someone calls me tell them the truth without lies.
He does NOT have to say that I am asleep or that I am not there, neither should he say what I am really doing, he should only say in good words that I am not available to receive him and that I am excused.
Sometimes people come to my house to ask for information and I am taking a bath. I tell my son that people do not have to know that I am in the bathroom, they should just say that I am very busy and I cannot go out to greet them.
These are ways of excusing myself that are not lies. The lie hurts more than the truth and I always told my son that I may resent a truth but, in the end, I appreciate him telling it to me but under no aspect do I accept to find out that my son lied to me to save the moment.
Maybe he does but I don't find out. I try as much as I can not to break my word to him and not to lie, nor teach him how to do it.
The lie I told my son was that St. Nicholas was real and to this day he admits that this is his biggest disappointment with me. I couldn't help it at the time and I didn't know the significance of my lie, but I should have told him that I was bringing him the presents on behalf of Santa. It would have saved me those tears I made him shed.
There is no justification for lying.

Let us value the work of others
There is something that has caught my attention and it is the way in which some people have the tendency to undervalue the work of others. Let me explain myself better.
I usually hear in places, in many places how people when asking for the price of items always have to say that it is expensive or they can simply ask for a discount.
When it is clear how much it costs to maintain a business of any kind, we do not stop to say that the products, and I am referring to handmade products. They all give a specific job that whoever creates them knows them.
There is a phrase that I have liked to repeat for a long time and it is the following.... "Ignorance is bold." I don't know if you have heard it but it is interpreted that when people don't know details about what they are talking about they err on the side of ignorance.
When you work in the kitchen to make cakes, pies, cakes, jams and then the craftsman puts the price according to the work that this has produced is so heartbreaking that someone comes and says it is very expensive, they need a discount or something like that.
In all honesty we should value the work of artisans, the work that people do to sell their products whether it is groceries, fruits, vegetables or simply any product for sale on a smaller scale.
We love to ask for discounts and rebates from small merchants and it is a mistake. They too struggle too much to survive an economy that is ever increasing and decreasing the income of the common citizen.
These same buyers, when they go to the wholesale stores, buy their products from the companies that produce on a large scale, that have a privileged position in the market but there when they buy what they need they don't ask for discounts or complain about expensive products so they don't pay.
We have the option to go elsewhere and buy in other places where the products are already more discounted without having to belittle the effort of the small producer. He also fights against inflation.
We always complain about everything. We are not satisfied with anything. It seems that in our way of seeing things, everyone is selling products against us to make us even poorer.
I know a friend of mine who doesn't ask for a discount and just goes from one place to another asking for prices and then goes and buys from one side some products and in other sides the rest. This way she does not disqualify the product of a small merchant and buys in several places in a more economical way.
When we have ingrained habits within us it is difficult to overcome them and this way of living, asking for a discount at all times and in all places is a way of life. I don't know what your habit is but If I know how much a product costs to make and then someone comes and says...
*"I'll buy you two and you give me a discount."*
It's my habit to say...
*"You get one free if you buy me a dozen more not for two."*
Profits are not given away because what's the point of selling if you are going to give away what you will earn.
My way of seeing things is to treat the small merchant with respect and consideration, let's not devalue the small businessman, let's give him our support by buying his products at the right price. It will be the way to help him in his economy without belittling his efforts.
It is a very personal way and I respect the customs of the people and their people. I only add what I personally think and do.

Making Decisions
Anyone would think that decisions are very easy to make. Of course, it is all about how complicated the choice is, when it comes to choices that involve standing with others in order to be accepted then our decisions are not so much our own as they become subject to scrutiny by ourselves as to whether others agree with us.
We think that our decisions or most of them are being made regardless of what others think but when involving groups we tend to ask what the majority have said. We do not like to integrate with minorities and on the contrary we prefer majorities.
In our daily life we see ourselves reflected in these decisions in order to feel that we live better. We see it every day when we look at what people wear as clothes and shoes, or also when we talk about us girls we ask ourselves how is the trend.
If it's one color of clothing, if it's shaded, if the nails are worn in one style or the other... How are the shoes, the clothes, the handbags, the hairstyles, etc...
A few days ago I went to a place to have my nails done and polished. The lady was very nice and asked me how I wanted her to do my nails and I immediately explained.
She did what I told her to do and did them just as I told her, when she finished doing it she pointed out the following...
"Did you know that that style of nails is no longer in use?"
To which I replied...
"Do you know that I like to do my nails the way that makes me happy and not the way the majority says is the trend? I don't like this current trend of putting on glitter and multiple polishes, I'm very traditional."
To which she replied that she was fine with me liking them that way, she just wanted me to know about the current trend.
Generally when we are younger we get carried away by fashions and we all want to wear the same thing everyone else is wearing, but the vast majority don't know that being in fashion doesn't mean that we dress in something that doesn't fit us.
Every day I see people wearing tight clothes that don't enhance their physique but rather deteriorate it, women wearing shoes with heels that they don't know how to wear, makeup that does not enhance their beauty but hides it.
Where is the common sense of people who let themselves be carried away like the current of a river? No matter their opinion about it.
I like to dress well, to walk with colors that enhance my skin and my body. Shoes that allow me to go anywhere without having to stop because they break my toes because of the bad fit.
Many years ago I learned that I like to be myself. That fashions are for some and not for everyone as most people think, that my opinion should also be listened to even if I don't agree with the majority.
It is better to live without regrets later in life and with the thought that I could have made another decision and I didn't do it just to please the majority.
And how do you think? Do you like to give your opinion after everyone else has already done it to say and support what the majority says or are you one of the first to say what you think and what you like. Do you dress fashionably no matter if the suits look bad on you? You don't care about that? Do you wear the shoes that are in fashion even if they mistreat your feet? Tell me, I want to hear your ideas.

My top three words.
Yesterday while reading some interesting articles on social media I was struck by a lady, she claimed to have three words that she loved to use the most. Immediately before reading on I started thinking about what are my most interesting words in my life.
I think I like a lot of them but there are three that motivate me the most, because there are too many words that we ordinarily use on a daily basis and we don't realize that we do it until someone makes you think and you decide to realize those little things that are part of your life.
The first word I want to mention is WANT. If I want something I want it very strongly and I go after it, I put my mind and all my resources to go in search of it. Then I can affirm that to want is power, the word that can do everything is power but you do it because you want to. So, this word makes a sentence that has accompanied me throughout my life.... TO WILL IS POWER.
The second word that I love and use a lot is GRATITUDE. I love to tell God thank you for everything. I am not the negative type that when things happen to them that may seem bad they don't say thank you. I do, and I have never stopped doing it even though I have encountered varying opinions, but for me hearing what others say is important but that doesn't change my own experience. Sometimes the things that happen to us and we think they are bad at the precise moment we don't see the good side because we are blinded by sadness but if we are grateful and wait patiently for the future we will see how what happened is chained with very positive events and that would not have happened if the first negative events had not appeared first. I love GRATITUDE, I like to be grateful to everyone and everything. I love the word.
My third word is POSITIVE. I like positive people. It's nice to meet people who tell you that everything is fine. You can start a conversation with them and they tell you a couple of very tragic experiences in their lives but at the same time they say that everything is fine because they are healthy, they have family and friends. This particularly fills my life with faith and hope when people in spite of everything are always willing to see the positive side of life. Being positive leads you to be optimistic. Don't stop being POSITIVE.
My life is full of a very great force that always takes me forward by wanting and that gives me the power, at the same time I am always grateful for the events of my life no matter if I have been beaten, spoiled or broken, on the way the burdens are straightened and my positivism never ceases to permeate my life with an atmosphere of optimism that I always want to carry wherever I go.
With this I do not want to say that I am a robot, I am a human being with all its flaws just like anyone else but I can say that it is not the contrary thoughts that prevail in me but the thoughts confident in the near present and its good term.
Thanks to all my good friends commentators, voters and renewers of sponsorship for following my blog.

No excuses for not planting
I went to visit a colleague in his medical unit and after the hostess gave me a tour of the entire infrastructure she took me to the last part which is the terrace. There I could see passing through this bamboo door how she had a small garden very similar to mine with many flowers and fruit plants.
Now I will take you on a virtual tour from the beginning. As you enter you look at these beautiful flowers, I don't have them in my garden but I would gladly enjoy their presence. She has also planted fruit plants such as pomegranate, orange and *jobo de la india* in some of the rubber pots that serve as planters.
And in separate pots she has planted many aromatic herbs and plants to serve at the table, such as mint, cilantro, oregano and others. I think she was inspired by other gardens to make this small space that functions as a lung for this concrete structure.
I think people make a lot of excuses for not planting at home. They don't have garden space, they don't have pots, they don't have time or so many other things.
I think that when you want to have plants there is always a space where you can have them. I put them in my garage because there is no car there now and while the next vehicle arrives I will occupy it with plants.
I glued some screws on the wall and there I arranged pots with hanging plants. Then I took some plastic containers that served as containers for cleaning liquids, liquid food or oils and water and arranged them in such a way that they work as flower pots.
I wove with some thick threads some meshes and there I placed containers with soil to hang plants in the air.
I also bought large pots and placed trees in them and cut the taproot and now they are a very good size to be transplanted and I plan to cut the main root again. All this to make them small trees with very few scattered branches.
I love plants, I can't see my life without planting, without harvesting, without talking to people and instructing them to plant in their homes and that they have no excuses to say they like plants but don't have space, because even in small apartment balconies I have seen the imagination of people to have their plants in that small space.
After I went through the terrace garden with the hostess of the medical unit I was left with a kind of joy to know that my friend had made that little place so cozy with a lot of imagination and now has many more plants than I thought he had planted there.
I plan in these coming days to get new soil and new pots to transplant my beautiful trees and wait for their harvest before the end of this year. Lemons, pomegranates, soursop and cherries will be my next plans for the development of my small trees and it is the new plan of investment in gardening. I will be telling you about them another time when I have everything prepared and ready for it.

The farm.
I decided to go out on Saturday and go to my brother's farm to photograph his animals, I like it when they are small because they are cute but as they grow up, they are for the distribution of their meat for human consumption.
When we arrive at the place, we find this big gate that one of my brother's workers opens for us to enter with the vehicle. We park and then the animal fair starts everywhere. The rabbits are loose, I could only see one mother rabbit who is just given birth and has her bunnies underneath her, the rabbits are overheated and are hiding under rocks and trees.
Up ahead are the poultry birds, they are ducks of two different species, the white plumaged ones and the black and green plumaged ones, the latter were wild ducks before they were domesticated. They do not fly from one pole to the other, they are always here. There are also some guineafowls. I like their sound.
Then there are the chicken farms. These are the smaller ones, but there are also big ones that are the ones we will eat for the next sale, because these are chickens for human consumption.
Then you can see the turtles, they are also for sale. There are some turtle eggs hidden in the sand.
If we keep walking, we come across the pig farm. There are some that are breeding, others are still small. They are all born here and are fed for human consumption. Now December is approaching and our table always has as a typical dish, the baked pork leg with spices, it’s a delicious dish.
As I leave the pigs' place I meet the sheep, some of them are pregnant and others are in the period of getting pregnant. It is a small flock but there are always new little ones on the way.
There is an incubator with different eggs inside. I think there are hens and ducks and some chicks are hatching.
At this moment my battery was discharged and left me pending to take pictures, but anyway my brother had to leave again to the city and I had to return to the house for him to go to make a line to get gas.
So here I bring you my weekend adventure at my brother's farm.
All photographs are my property.

----------------------------------
They are simply difficulties.
What would life be without the shocks, anxieties, problems or difficulties that arise from day to day. I don't think there is a person who says that he never has difficulties and that every day is boring because nothing happens to him.
Well, I can infer that only to people who live under parental guardianship and only eat and sleep. Even here difficult situations such as indigestion or insomnia can occur, which are also difficulties.
But being more universal, thousands of things happen to all of us one after the other, some things more difficult than others. Life gives no respite, always one step ahead for the next stumble. It happens more easily to some people than to others.
And there are also people with small circumstances that in their way of seeing things magnify them and in the eyes of others are small situations misguided.
What I want to make clear today is that if we let ourselves be carried away by our desperation nothing can be solved. We know that we are our own main saboteurs. We feed ourselves with the negativity of if this situation happens or if that situation happens. And with these thoughts we only torment ourselves and our mind is clouded to find solutions.
Personally I believe that everything has a solution as long as we stay alive. That the problem can come and affect us in the way we give it a quick entrance or exit. I am not one to keep myself in mental confinement with the problem but one that tries to solve it as quickly as possible because I know that the next difficulty will come quickly and if I do not fight to get rid of what is already there now, the next will be heavier to bear.
So I maintain my opinion that every problem is the size of the importance we give it. There are very conflictive people who prefer to live in the role of martyr and then say why me and encapsulate their problem. Following the same dilemma will be their destiny.
We must not allow other people to keep control of our life. We must be capable enough to take our own tools and fight to improve our life. Inconveniences are solved by talking and from there we learn and move to the next level. Then life gives us new levels of confrontations to continue evolving and take in our favor what we need and discard what does not serve us to evolve.
A very common phrase in my country says that difficulties are the size of the value you give them. I share this idea. While we look for the solution to the difficulties, let's not get involved in negativity because that hinders the solution. Let us be positive minded and clear thinking. What we have is what we have, facing it is the solution, the mechanisms to solve are the learned tools, apply them according to our logical thinking and wait for them to be solved.
If the difficulties are far from our reach, free your mind. You did everything necessary and now the problem is on another level and just trust that life always makes its way and seeks to act in our favor if we are prepared for it. And if not then we must learn it. The hard way, but we must learn that life goes on and does not stop because we have good or bad thoughts.
Nothing is as important as keeping ourselves alive and healthy the rest in a complement in life.

Things that happen in daily life
My story today is simple, although in many opportunities I want to not have to get upset for nothing some things happen that make me think that it is difficult to bear in some opportunities not to want to scream and say some barbarities to that person that has made you lose your control.
I just take a deep breath and try to get my brain oxygenated so I don't have to do things that can't be fixed later.
Today I was very upset with a person who has been in my family for a long time but has not learned to be grateful for what she has. I have hired her for many years and paid her more than a household worker should be paid. I only do it because I appreciate her and I know she has a lot of problems at home.
The catch is, when she decides to get upset and blame me for her current bad situation. Since I like to fix things quickly, I waited until the afternoon when she was already resting from her chores and explained to her with my calmness that her problem was not what I pay her but that she has not been able to properly deal with her family.
She has a brother with Alzheimer's of around 70 years of age who she’s taking care of, but also a nephew of around 40 years of age and his own dog have come to live with her, she is the only one who feeds them all with the money she earns here.
According to the accountant, he tells me that I am paying her more than double what she is legally entitled to but she doesn't see it. This isn´t new, this is how it always was; I have always given her more than what any other person in her position should be payed, according to the law.
So today I decided to break down what she earns and little by little tell her what she should be earning and what I am giving her. For being supportive, she can go to any legal place and they can advise her of what she earns and what she is getting. She doesn't want to do that so she will continue to believe she is undervalued.
I was talking to her and told her that she should fix the problem with her family, what a person earns here in my country is not enough to pay for the consumption of a family of four, let alone when you’re the only one working to support said family. Keep in mind she has these issues even after I paid her more than double of what she should be being paid, after being paid more than what a normal person earns on their job.
I cannot take on her family problems and fix her life economically more than I am already helping her.
I don't think I am doing anything wrong; I consulted my accountant who pointed out that I am paying much more than what other people pay their household employees.
This would not have upset me any more but for the fact that I had a very bad night. First, I was stricken with abdominal pain characteristic of gastritis so I had to get up and take a gastric protector, then both my lower limbs began to ache. I tried to wait for them to relax but the pain kept increasing. I had to get up again and take an anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxant medication and to top it all off, I was getting a headache. It was past midnight and I was still waiting for my pains to subside until sleep overcame me and I woke up at 5am. My kitty is not forgiving at that hour, so he then begs for me to take him outside to the garden and from there he goes to the street.
So, I had a bad night and a bad morning. I am calm now, I talked to her about things and now I want to be well at home. I made her see that as long as she keeps allowing everyone in her family to keep abusing her, she will not improve her situation… and the raises I give her, all of the gifts and help I give and have given her all of these years, as well as my thanks, get left behind and forgotten because she thinks she should be earning more and she is not.
I am very sorry, so many people who before finding out well what their situation is as a domestic employee decide to have altercations with their employer and then they find out when they lose everything.
It’s something more of my life that I wanted to share with you.
Thank you for reading.

Another story of eternal love
I read lately about the story of an impossible love. A young girl fell in love with a boy from her school and at the same time this boy was impressed by her.
She was a 16-year-old girl, introverted, not very social and she liked music. He was the most talked about boy in school as he was the star player of his school team, he was very attracted to the girl and after a while they became boyfriend and girlfriend.
The girl got pregnant and the boy left to serve before he knew it but always hoping to get back to his girl. He sent her many letters that were later intercepted by the girl's parents and destroyed.
On the other hand, the girl at the moment of giving birth was separated from the baby and the baby was given to an orphanage without saying anything to the young mother who wept bitterly for her daughter for a long time.
She was sent to college, graduated. In another city and stayed there to work, then she got married. On the other hand, the young man who had been her boyfriend also made a life for himself after leaving the army. He got married and became a widower.
When he was 50 years old, one day while playing with some friends he was asked if he had little time left to live, with whom he would like to be with? That is when he names his first love and decides to tell his story.
The friends found the story very touching and decided to look for her on the internet and found her. She was also married and alone but he didn't know it, but even knowing that she was still married he decided to look for her and called her on the phone for a date. The call lasted over an hour as they caught up and met again.
When they were together, they realized that their love was not over and after a few weeks they were getting married, they then decided to look for their daughter. After many stories and searching they found her and told her the story, she was a married woman with children and had her life together so this situation did not affect her too much.
This implies that the story of love and separation was to end with the death of the true love of these people but eventually they met again and decided to make the life that was stolen from them together.
Love is like that. No one can destroy or change it; it remains alive despite the difficulties and if it is of God that these lives are reunited, they can be reunited again.
I hope you liked this real-life story that shows again what true love can do in people.
Thank you all for your comments, votes and visits.

Do you believe in coincidences?
Throughout our lives and every day of life things happen that make us think if they are isolated facts or if on the contrary, they are facts that are linked to each other.
When we have lived many occasions in which we can observe for our own eyes that there are many things that happen and through the times they are seen again we realize and change our mind thinking that everything is a coincidence.
There is a very popular photo in the networks where they show a girl who is photographed in front of a sculpture that she visited as a tourist. Behind the picture you can only see a man who is also posing for a photograph.
The aforementioned girl photographed over the years meets a guy whom she marries and later they review their most cherished photos and realize that they have a photo that is identical for her although for him she was just amazed that he was standing closer to the image when he was photographed. It so happens that in his wife's photo she is the one in front and her husband is in the back.
They were unknowingly in the same place at the same time on the same day having their picture taken in front of the sculpture, but they did not see each other that day.
I heard about twins who were separated in childhood and in adulthood both went to a hospital with chest pain, they were suffering from a heart attack at the same time and both died, only in different cities and hospitals.
I also read about a man who was struck by lightning in a storm, which paralyzed his spine and lower limbs. Later over the years he was struck by another lightning bolt, this time it paralyzed his upper limbs and after a few years he died.
But his story does not end yet because apparently lightning struck again but on his tombstone destroying it. What was it about this person that lightning had such a predilection for him? Only God knows, we do not know why things happen but they do.
Once when I was working as a 20-year-old girl I met a young man in the area of my work, we only talked there as workmates, years went by and then we met again when I was working in another city. It had been about 20 years. He recognized me; it was only when he told me about that day when we were working that I remembered him.
Apparently, he remembers me because I was then a very young, smiling and lively girl and I still had my same smile and lively way of working.
I don't know what makes these things happen and so many events happen that, maybe we don't remember, but sometimes makes us have a feeling of deja vu, this could mean that we were already doing the same thing in another place and our mind tries to remember it but we forget it completely because there is no second person to support us.
What do you think? Do you believe that coincidences exist or simply that our lives are already given and are chained throughout life?

Impatience limits us
Greetings friends all. Impatience is one of the defects that characterizes all of us human beings, or rather it is one of our greatest defects.
Sometimes even experience does not bring out what we should have learned over time about not being impatient and waiting calmly for things to develop as they always do.
Why do we want everything to happen in our favor and our way?
We want what we do to be ready when we set our minds to it. We arrange our whole environment so that the things we plan will happen just as the mind has planned… We are not so quick to accept that everything can change in a second.
We make many plans for the future, we plan that we will gain a lot from a task, that we will be on time for something important, that we will finish finalizing the details for an excellent job....
But what happens when something interferes with our plans?
We become irrational, temperamental, and if we are negative and dramatic, we start to play the victim in all our events and tell ourselves why these things happen to us.
When things go wrong it is difficult to be calm but it can be achieved with practice. Every time an event happens that was not planned and that does not go according to our mental reality, we must first take a deep breath.
Did you know that when you breathe deeply you get more oxygen to the brain?
Did you know that when you are more oxygenated you calm down and relax?
If you did not know this, I invite you to practice this therapy. When something goes wrong and it is out of your reach to solve it, I invite you to change the inevitable learned behavior of obfuscating and blocking your mind to solutions and tranquility.
First you breathe deeply, as we do when we go to the gym. Breathe deeply and exhale slowly, three times. After that you will see that your body stops tensing your muscles and your brain starts thinking in another way.
Look for alternatives to the current circumstances and if you can't find the solution just release that thought and let yourself go because you will be fighting against the current and that exhausts you too much. Free your mind, free your body and be patient that while there is life there are opportunities to move forward.
Impatience is a bad counselor; we do things very quickly when we get impatient and, in the end, instead of solving things we complicate our lives even more.
This is something that is learned in life, in our daily walk, I wish I had learned to cope with my impatience when I was young because I would not have made so many mistakes. Of course, those mistakes have led me to gain the experience to be the woman I am today.
That is why I tell you; lack of patience is one of the things that leads us to commit so many imprudences in our lives.
I look forward as always to your comments, thanks to all my dear friends.

There is such a thing as eternal love.
Greetings friends, sometimes I have written here that reality surpasses imagination and every day I hear things that prove it.
Weeks ago, I wrote about something that only in my mind I had seen and it was the fact that a married couple who loved each other separated due to fate. One afternoon he accidentally fell into a lake and his car was buried and only in the summer in very dry weather was it possible to see the car and it became known that he was not inside the car.
The man, according to my imaginary story, had lost his memory and went to another town and lived there for 4 years until his wife found him because she did not stop looking for him.
My surprise today was so much because I heard the story of a man who was married and traveled. During his trip to a distant city, he suffered an accident and lost his memory. He was not heard from for a long time but his wife did not stop looking for him.
He wandered the streets, over the years someone hired him and he worked as an employee without remembering his past. One day after many years he began to have little bursts of memories and remembered his real name. The owner of the store was his friend and he decided to search the internet with the name his friend told him and came across his story.
He left home, suffered a road accident while traveling to another city far away. He left no trace and his family, wife and children were looking for him everywhere. In his town, they had signs asking that if they saw him to please call that number and the owner of the store did.
His whole family came to where he was staying and there he recognized them. Little by little he continued to remember his past life. Tears, hugs and happiness was had again even though it had been much more than 20 years.
Another case was that of a wife who lost her partner while he went to war. She did not hear from him since he was to be sent to another island. He was presumed missing, somewhere else he was presumed dead, somewhere else he was told that he passed that way.
That pilot's wife spent her whole life following false leads from the people who were supposed to be his superiors.
She was already over 50 years old when she finally found a real clue. Her husband was flying on an island where he was highly regarded and his plane broke down in mid-air. The plane was going to fall directly to the island where he had many friends and so that the plane would not fall there, he decided to explode it in the air.
This is how he was recognized as a hero on the island for not having let the plane fall and destroy part of the island and its inhabitants.
His wife was finally able to rest because she loved him all her life and knew that he had not abandoned her, but that instead something bad could have happened to him, something that she dedicated her life to look for and eventually found the most beautiful story, that of giving his own life for others.
The reality of life is much more full of strange events than the imagination itself. Love can do everything, but many times love is entrusted to people who do not deserve it but at other times love is mutual and does not die over the years.
To all those people who love and are loved I dedicate today's post. Thank you for your presence always.

I want to live
Greetings my dear friends. One of the things that I find so fulfilling in home life is having pets at home, they are beings that need love from our care and at the same time they notice the love we lavish on them and make us feel so good.
We know from scientific studies that have been done that child feel special predilection for some specific animals that brighten their lives in a peculiar way.
I read about a child with autism who loved his chicken. Since the mother brought the chicken home, he felt a lot of love and attachment to this bird. To the point that he started to gain weight because he was extremely skinny, since nothing stimulated his appetite. He did not share with anyone and did not play.
He started to eat more with his chicken and he would feed him, so the relationship grew stronger. He was isolated from everyone and began to socialize because he loved to be and talk with his chicken. Once the mother had to fight in court because neighbors worried about an avian virus did not want the chicken in their community.
Can you imagine all the legal process the mother had to go through to explain that her son started to evolve as a person when he had this chicken in his hands? And that he did not deserve to be subjected to such a situation of detachment that could even affect his life and his growth if he was suddenly taken away from what until now allowed him to be more interactive at home, at school and in society.
My son tells me that he read about a person who decided to take his own life. In a dark moment of his life, he thought that no one loved him and he did not want to continue on this plane. He was already alone in his room on the bench that would help him rest from so much suffering when he saw small furry paws under his door and they were making signs to him to open the door or to come to him.
This person, who was ready to end his life, saw his cat's little hands and was moved by the thought that if he hanged himself, who would take care of his kitten. No one would love him as much as he does, and thinking about this he decided to stay in this world just to take care of his little love, his kitten.
Many times, we only need a small token of love to change our way of thinking. A smile, a hug, an I love you, a good morning with lots of affection makes our smile emerge and we feel like bursts of energy, love and the desire to be happy are secreted in our bloodstream.
Perhaps there are many people in the world who only need a word said with love to stop being pessimistic, negative and with dark thoughts.
We are made to love and feel loved. Love is our engine. A smile costs nothing. It is not that we must have a smile on our face all the time but we can arrive at a place and say good morning with a smile, receive another person with a cordial greeting and a smile.
We do not know who is in need of our good attitude to feel an encouragement and move forward in life. I invite you to smile, to say I love you and I love you more often to the people you love, to your parents, your children, your siblings, your friends, your neighbors and colleagues, say words of love to them and they will say the same back to you.
I love you all, thank you for your comments, votes and visits.

We need to be loved
Greetings friends all, today I want to share with you part of the conversations I had with my son today. It turns out that he had read some documentaries about people trying to commit suicide and wanted to share with me his opinion.
I am not an expert on this subject but I do know that there are many people in this world who feel misunderstood and unloved by anyone. They feel the contempt of those who point them out, of people who only know how to criticize and who in a mean way, showing their own frustrations of life, throw them on people in need of love.
We as individuals who are part of a society need the approval of others, we need to feel that we belong to something, we need to know that there are people or animals who love us. We did not come here to live alone on an island, miles away from others and unable to share ideas, affection or love.
Those people who are kept isolated from populations or other individuals and who cannot interact generally form psychotic ideas and become sociopathic individuals.
This is not to say that people who are introverted and who like to spend time with themselves are psychopaths. No, it's just that we keep our distance and relate more to like-minded or like-minded people and also need to be shown love.
It’s for those people that the world is coming down on them that I am writing today. I can only tell one story because then it would make the post too long, so I begin.
It happens that there was a parish priest in a church who together with his altar boy would go to hand out pamphlets about the life of Jesus, in the village, after officiating the holy mass. There were very few people there. It happened that while he was conducting the homily there was a heavy rain. When he finished the homily, the rain was ending but it was very cold outside so the priest told the altar boy that he could not go out because he was very old and might catch a bad cold. To which the altar boy replied that he could go since he was young and very willing to do so. The priest told him not to go, *"who will be waiting for you in this bitter cold? Wait until tomorrow!"* but the boy insisted, he relented and gave him his blessing and the boy set about his task.
It was way too cold but he could knock on the doors of the houses and share his pamphlet with everyone. He was already very tired from running around and felt very cold but he still had one left and did not want to leave with him in hand, so he saw a house, a light within, and there he knocked. He knocked once, then a second time and no one came out, then he felt the desire to knock a third time and wait.
After a few seconds someone with a very sad face opened the door, the smiling child said...
*“Do you know that Christ loves you? Here I leave this pamphlet for you to read and we will wait for you next Sunday in church.”*
The lady took her paper, the boy said goodbye and they both left. The poor boy was so cold that he ran home to enjoy the warmth of his home.
The following Sunday during the homily a person asked the priest to give him a few seconds at the end to give a testimony, the priest agreed.
At the end he told the people of God not to leave because there was a testimony from someone from the village. The lady made her way through the crowd and went up to the pulpit and took the microphone and began...
*"A week ago, on a Sunday like today, in the afternoon hours a strong storm fell. I was alone at home as usual. My eldest son died in the war, the only son left had died of malaria, my husband left two weeks ago to meet the Lord. I no longer had anyone in my life, I was all alone.*
*The cold of that night froze even my heart, even the tears could not come out because of the cold. I decided to take the easiest way to stop being alone and not suffer. I climbed up to the top floor, where I hung a rope and climbed onto a stool to cut the rope short. I was just starting to put the rope around my neck when I heard a knock on the door. I thought that whoever it was would leave and continued with my task, then I heard a second knock but I waited until I heard nothing and I had the rope around my neck ready to jump when I heard a third knock, I decided to take the rope off my neck and go down to see who was knocking at my door. Then I continued with my task.*
*I opened the door to find the face of an angel with the best smile on his face, holding his arms to his chest and saying...*
*"You know, Christ loves you"? and handed me a piece of paper, which I accepted, then he ran off. I read the pamphlet and it said the most beautiful words a person can hear from someone who loves them, it was Jesus speaking to me.*
*That is why I am here today, to give thanks for the love of Jesus and this little angel that he used to keep me from committing my greatest mortal sin. Thank you, son, for your great gift.*
The old lady then looked at the little boy, who was looking at her with his beautiful smile and tears in his eyes.
We are all loved by the Father and in one way or another. He looks for ways for us to find Him and if we do not see Him, it is because we are submerged in a deep self that does not allow us to see around us where the tokens of His most sublime love are.
Thank you all for your comments. I really read this story a long time ago and I changed the text because I don't remember it very well but I do remember the main idea which is what I wanted to share. Later in another post I will share with you the stories my son told me…

Mutual respect is earned.
Greetings friends all, I hope you are having a good time. Today I want to share a thought with you and that is respect for others.
Respect is something that we can all develop little by little as we go through life. We get to know the importance of each thing, each species, each human being, this is how we know that we are not the axis of the earth, but that it is a whole.
I read a story that left me thinking a lot about the importance of respecting each other and not only to respect each other in words, but also in deeds, in gestures, in ways of being.
I had to live the fact that I was formed with my own ideas since I started studying in a technical school, I received good examples from many people I met who are no longer here today. I was loved by many people who gave me their best talks to explain their way of seeing life.
I understood that there is room for everyone, that the homeless person who is on the street all smelly and dressed in rags was once a person from a home that perhaps did not pay adequate attention to him and that due to lack of education he was thrown out on the street. This homeless man learned to defend himself by being rude and finding no better way to live but to beg.
As I began to write on the platforms almost four years ago, I began to see the small insects as beings that also interact with the environment for the benefit of humans.
I tell you that some years ago I hated toads and frogs. I did not give them a chance to live in my garden. Life taught me a lesson when a plague of snails came to my garden and in one night, they killed my plants. I tried to exterminate them and I couldn't but suddenly I saw how a toad ate a snail and I decided to read about the tastes of toads and I learned that they have snails on their menu.
Did you see how I ended up being friends with toads? They can live in my garden whether there are snails or not because they are defenseless, they don't harm anyone and they are always in the shade.
I saw the ladybugs and I liked them but I didn't know much about them so I started to take their pictures and share them on the platform, but first I found out about the life they lead. I shared that knowledge.
Respect goes hand in hand with knowledge, it is the way to live without prejudice about other living beings. It is not good to speak or act without having a justified reason to do bad actions. When we learn about the lives of other living beings around us, we learn that they also deserve life and respect, by learning we allow ourselves to grow and value what we have around us.
To stop living in complaint for what we have and what we don't have is also disrespectful. The one who has fought so hard for what he has deserves our respect and not on the contrary our discredit, for the fact that we are ignorant of the life he has had to lead to achieve what he now has.
My friends I am only sharing part of my personal experiences on how I have learned to respect people and other living beings without disrespect because they are less qualified in their lives, homes, jobs, environment, etc. I always managed with respect the subordinate staff that I had when I started working since I was 15 years old in hospitals. Because I saw that most of my superiors did that, I do not like injustice.
Since then, I kept learning and reached the point that by being on these platforms in addition to learning about cryptocurrencies I have learned about a very different world that I did not know.
Thanks to you for being here and continue with your comments, votes, and visits. I thank all my sponsors and sponsored.

The life of a mother.
Today I listened to the story of a person that, even though I told myself I would not cry, made my tears come out unintentionally.
She was telling her personal story about her mother, one of those women we all know. Those who dedicate themselves to their children and their husband to always give them the best of themselves, those who keep quiet about their pains and sorrows of the day so as not to sadden their family and let them be happy.
Her mother would say to her daughter *"Today dinner is at 7pm, try to be on time"* to which her daughter would reply...
*"No mom, today I have a meeting with friends, I won't be early. Better luck next time"*
The mother told the son not to be late because dinner would be served at 7pm. To which the son replied...
*"Mother, I can't come early because I have a meeting for a soccer game with my friends, let's try that tomorrow."*
The mother just had to tell her husband to remember to come early, today dinner is at 7pm. To which her husband said...
*"Today I have a meeting with some businessmen in a restaurant, don't wait for me for dinner, it's better to try tomorrow".*
Like any good mother, she dined alone that night and for the next 15 days. Her husband could not accompany her to the dinners and neither could her children... and at the end of those 15 days she died.
She suffered alone from a fatal cancer, this mother only wanted to talk to her children in her last days without giving them any worries, the doctor told them after her death that when she found out about the disease there was nothing to do and she only took medications that allowed her to be calm, to hide her pain a little with her family during her last days.
She died and did not share with her children, and now they are all at home at dinner time to mourn her absence.
That is why I told you that I did not want to cry with this story because we know that the details that our loved ones have with us we should not underestimate them because we do not know if there will be a tomorrow with them.
I hope you celebrate life with your loved ones my friends. Thank you for your votes, comments and visits.

Evil cannot defeat good
Greetings dear friends, today I have come to leave my personal opinion about several stories that lately have reached my ears.
I can only be amazed at how far the wickedness of human beings can go. Things like wanting to think that they are superior races, that they are superior people because they belong to an elite group, thinking and acting against the human being because they have a sick mind that was not discovered in time.
I tell you that I listened to an audio about a man who belongs to one of those religious sects that believe they are the last and the most special for reasons that only they know. This man I'm talking about made a plan with his life and wanted to get a wife that he could manipulate in order to obtain a pure family for his sect. So he asked a poor man to sell him his young daughter and the man did so because of his precarious conditions in his very poor family.
The wicked man raised the girl away from all pleasure and comfort. He kept her isolated from all people and only he saw her. He gave her no good food, no fruits, nothing healthy, nothing that would give her comfort. She slept outdoors exposed to the elements, the girl grew up being taught by himself and then he sent her to study at the university.
When she left college he hinted to her that she should marry him. While she was at his house he continued to manipulate her. She met a musician who gave her lessons and she fell in love. Eventually, the bad man allowed her to go study music or something like that, with the promise that she would come back after two years to live with him and marry him and give him children.
Thank God she never came back, the story came out many years later because the girl wrote her life, she was already married and began to write her life with all the evils that the man inflicted on her both physically and mentally.
How can a person use another human being to achieve his desires, his base instincts, to make them come true?
It is well said that the devil is on the loose. We all think that to see the devil we must see a being as red as fire, with horns and a tail, evil hides behind beauty, it is the best way to attract the unwary. To pretend to be a religious person, a humble, loving and giving person.
Let us beware of people who are extremely good, because there is only one good person. The most evil being wants to appear to be very kind and charismatic but only has inside a sold soul that only seeks the downfall of the weak of heart.
Let us put our life, our heart in our faith and let us ask to be delivered from the evil that surrounds us and let us keep in prayer to wear the armor against evil.
Thank you my dear friends readers, voters and commentators. Thanks to my sponsors especially my new sponsor @rehmat.

Facing life in a positive way
Greetings friends of the great read.cash family. Today I want to comment on something I read in a publication and that is that there are people who go around the world always arguing about everything that happens to them.
I don't think we should waste our time in sadness and complaints when everything seems to be out of our hands.
What I mean is that if an event happens that delays you on the way to work, or when you take your children to school, or simply your transportation is delayed, I don’t think that there is a solution if you proceed immediately to get upset and to say expletives in the air. There are people who at once already talk about their bad luck, about how bad it will be for them from then on and other things.
To take the reins of our negative thoughts is up to us. Transforming it into something positive is in everyone's best interest. What is out of our hands, I mean out of our hands to solve, then it is best to let it go, don’t get caught up in a useless thought of frustration.
Life is full of pleasant moments and moments that are not, it is a balance and when we know how to manage both we will be fine with ourselves.
If you have been delayed on the road, if the transport does not arrive, if you have forgotten something in the least indicated place, do not take it to the extreme because everything has a solution while you have life. Go ahead, adopt your best position, look at things from another point of view. Look for the best part of that bad situation and connect with the peace and tranquility that your being deserves.
Living in agony because of all the bad situations that arise is not advisable to maintain your health. Time goes by, life takes care that everything keeps flowing. Whether or not you think for better or for worse, the only person who will benefit or be affected by your way of proceeding will be you.
Nobody likes to be next to a grumpy person who fights and gets upset about everything. At the end of the road, he is left alone because he has no one to share his displeasure with.
It is so nice to be grateful for everything that happens to us. Gratitude will always be rewarded with good events, whereas if you complain about everything that no longer has a solution within your reach then you will not attract the good things that could present themselves to you because you will not be able to see them, simply because you have your eyes closed to see the new that will come.
Sometimes what we assume is a bad event that affects us is the best thing that could happen to us and in the long run you will be able to see it if you have an open mind and an open heart.
I can give you the example of a person who is in a hurry to take her child to school and by bad luck, according to her, she missed the transportation and had to return with her child along with all the inconveniences that this brings, she leaves in a bad mood, starts the day arguing with herself.
Something happens on the way and the transport had an accident, the same transport where her son was supposed to go. There are injured, parents are running all over the place, protection units are activated and it becomes an unfortunate event, this accident.
Then you think... was it the worst thing that could happen to her and her child or is it the worst thing for other people? It’s then we begin to realize that what must happen happens and that we should always be grateful. After all, preserving life is the most important thing and as long as we are alive there are opportunities to enjoy and just as many ways to feel for other situations. Achieving balance in life is difficult but it can be done with patience and optimism.
Have a great day. I thank you for your presence in my publications.

It's good to remember that we do not leave any pending.
Greetings friends of the great read.cash family, I hope you are feeling well at the moment of sharing reading with me.
Today I come with certain concerns that have motivated me to write and share with you. Have you ever thought that at some point in your life you have left things unfinished to do? That you have been walking your destinies and have left things behind that you would have liked to finish?
It has happened to me, sometimes I wish I had not allowed it to happen but it did. I remember when I was a child I was invited to an amusement park, my siblings and I went but with another family, my parents stayed at home. Do you know the worst thing about this? I was a 9 year old girl and it hurt me so much that I went to that park and I only got to ride the bumper cars once.
I asked my older sisters if they brought money and none of them did. So I just hung out watching the other children of the family that took us having fun while my eyes were popping out of excitement seeing so many carts and I couldn't get on any of them. It was a trauma for me.
As I grew up always in my mind I would think of this and remember it with sadness. Until one day I went to a park where there were carts for adults and then I got on one of those and crashed as many times as I could. It was fun, I had to do it and so I was able to release my sad memory for a happy one.
I remember when I was growing up I was forbidden to go dancing, to go to the disco, to stay late at night visiting someone.
My father was very bossy and one of those who said *"do as I say and not as I do"*. But leading by example doesn't work like that.
When I graduated at the age of 18 I was sent to practice far away from home, 3 hours away from my house to be more specific. Then we were invited to the disco and I went for the first time with all my classmates and when I went in I tried to hide but I couldn't. They all knew me and saw my face, they all knew me and saw my strange face. I was like a little girl eating her favorite ice cream.
I saw the center lights, how they changed tone and then the lights that made the white look like an almost transparent thing, God that was great. I enjoyed it so much that I got tired of going so much.
The same thing happened to me at the movies, that huge screen, I had never seen such a big TV, how ignorant I was, hehehehe, then I learned the whole mechanism of operation.
In those 18 months that I was in that city I did so many and all the things that were forbidden to me. I wanted to know why they were bad, I was just told not to go and no explanation. I learned that everything is in the person, if you want to destroy yourself you will do it but if you don't want to do it those places will not destroy you. What will destroy you are your actions, your bad decisions.
Nothing ever happened to me to regret when I was with my friends... Except until something actually happened, I fell in love and got a boyfriend who was jealous and started again with prohibitions.
What a bad thing to feel like you can do things and they won't let you do them. I did it just to keep the peace in the relationship. It got to the point where everything became difficult and the relationship ended.
It was then that I remembered all the things I couldn't do thanks to the prohibitions and I had to think how to get rid of that bad feeling. So I went back to the places where I was banned from going with my friends and I had a great time. I could see that it was an unfounded ban, just jealousy. The places were special, my friends always took care of me and everyone acted with respect.
Since then I grew in that feeling and did not allow anyone else to forbid me things without logic. Every time someone told me... don't do this thing I asked why? What was the risk, and when I knew the answer it was very clear in my mind and I didn't do it anymore and even less curious.
For example, one time I was with a group of friends and someone told us that there was a big meeting in the evening at the house of a distinguished lawyer. I knew her and was about to tell everyone that we could go.
One of my friends looked at me and motioned for me not to say anything, and I listened because I trusted him. He played along and pointed out that we could all go for sure.
As we drove away in my car my friend told us...never go to these types of parties no matter how much they tell you. They are parties of perdition where they start with soft drinks and then go to harder ones, then they combine with drugs and become totally uninhibited and prostitute themselves to each other.
I thanked my friend for the gesture and the explanation. That was all I wanted to know, to be told the reason for the refusals and not just a no. I never accepted an outright no anymore. I never accepted a flat out no without explanation anymore.
I have always said that God has sent me many people as angels to watch over my ways. In my great greed of wanting to know what I never knew growing up I now had a light always telling me what to do.
I made many mistakes in my life but those I do not regret because they made me grow and have made me the strong woman I am today. What I may have regretted was not having done the things I wanted to do at the time just to please the illogical and whimsical requests of the people who were in charge at the time.
Have similar things ever happened to you? Tell me, I would like to read if you are willing to share.
Thank you all for your comments and votes, I appreciate it.
