Unforgettable Dreams *As I have read some articles here in read cash, I happened to read about dreams. As I was reading, I remember my dreams also. So, I decided to write and share about my dreams.* Why do we dream? Can we control them? Do they have meanings? They say that dreams are stories and images that are created in our mind while we sleep. Some of our dreams can be entertaining, romantic, frightening, disturbing and sometimes bizarre. I am pretty sure that we have plenty of dreams but there some dreams that we can't forget. I will share to you some of my dreams that I still remember. 1**. Dreaming about catastrophe** There were some of the night that I dreamt about floods, a big ball of fire that hit in a certain place, a tsunami and landslide. This dream about landslide is the most mysterious to me. In my dream, I was looking for my friend. Then his mother told me that he was in the mountain. I decided to go after him because I had an important thing to say to him. The mountain was steep but I continued walking. As I was walking, I felt the ground grumbling. I looked at my back and I saw that the soil was detaching. I grabbed a small tree to hold on but it was also wearing away so I grabbed another one. Until the last tree that I hold on was about to be detached, there was a hand that grabbed me from falling. When I looked up, it was a man with a white shirt but his face is vague. He pulled me up. When I looked down at the erosion, I cried so hard because I was so worried about my family. The man extended his hand and hold me. He led me to a place that is unfamiliar to me. Then I saw a building and people who was all victim by the landslide. He brought me to a room and there I saw my family. I felt ecstatic to saw them that they are fine. I was about to thank the man who helped me but when I turned back he was already gone. I searched some interpretation about those dreams. Here are some possible interpretation in dreaming about catastrophe from Dream Moods: Natural Disaster Dream Meaning : ***Floods*** - it may well be a responds to an emotional overload. The dream required attention to your emotional well-being. ***Meteor, Comet, and Asteroid*** - As a cosmological event, a dream of an asteroid, comet or meteor stream could be a sign of a brand new era in the dreamer’s life. The dreamer is evolving in consciousness and therefore the dream is heralding a time of deep soul transformation in the middle of life-changing events. ***Tsunami -*** A tsunami dream usually represents an enormous emotional issue coming to the forefront. Sometimes buried memories from childhood can emerge out of the subconscious suddenly and with them an excellent deal of grief. During this case, the emotional swell of the tsunami represents repressed feelings from the past. Regardless of the emotional issue, it must be addressed and cleared before the tsunami dreams will cease. ***Landslide*** - It represents unexpected problems in your life that feel overwhelming to wash up. Big oversights that require to be addressed. It's going to also reflect emotional buildup or conflict that's finally coming to the surface after being overlooked. **2. Dreaming about a deceased member of the family** I had a brother who looked like me. They say that I am his girl version. He was our oldest brother. He died when he was 18 years old. His death was already envisioned by a fortune-teller. When he died, I was devastated because we were so closed. There was one time that I was so depressed. He appeared in my dream. He asked me if I'm still okay. I told him no and I asked him that I want to go with him. I still remember what he told me. He said that I can't go with him because it is not my time yet and then he smiled. He is like my guardian angel. So, whenever I want to give up life, he showed in my dreams. He seems like he wants to cheer me up. From then on, I always knew that he is always with me and keep me watching as I go on with my life. According to the Dreaming about dead relatives- Spiritual significance, Interpretation and meaning, when you dream about your dead relatives smiling, it has no bad omen associated. One of their interpretation is that you are not fully recovered from their death. Interpreting this kind of dream is difficult though. **3. Dreaming about Jesus.** Every night before I sleep, I always say my prayers. My night is not complete if I forgot to pray. So, before I go to bed, I always make sure that I thanked God before I close my eyes. Then, there was one night that I dreamt Jesus. I think I was college at that time. In my dream, I was at the fjord. While I was walking, I saw something at the far side of the shore. Out of curiosity, I decided to check it. Then I saw a cross. Not far from the cross, I saw a woman carrying a man. When I go near them, I saw the face of the man. It was Jesus and the woman who carried him was Mother Mary. Their position was like in the Pietà,. I was reluctant at first, but then I saw the holes in his hand and in his feet. When I was about to touch his hand, I woke up. That was a very strange dream I ever had. According to a Jesus dream interpretation, "dreaming of religious elements, artifacts, or personalities entirely associated with our spirituality and character". Their interpretation on seeing Jesus in a dream - it is indicated that you will have protection in your life. They said that this protection will be related to your work, and good things will happen. **4. Dreaming about a person in the past** There's this one person who always appeared in my dream. Though I didn't think about him, he suddenly showed in my dream. I haven't seen or heard about him in years but he always visit me in my dreams. What confused me most is that when he is in my dream, I can feel happiness. According to Loewenberg, when you dream of a person you haven't seen in forever, or a person you don't deal with on a daily basis, or someone who doesn't even actually exist, they will represent a part of your personality. He also added that dreaming other person can be a way to gain a better understanding in yourself and your behavior. Those are the dreams that I can't forget. Many of us feels like our dreams have meanings. Like it has hidden message to us. A rabbi once said, " A dream uninterpreted is like a letter unopened". How about you? What are your unforgettable dreams ? Thank you for reading.🥰 I want to say thank you to @Jeaneth , @Bloghound , @Momentswithmatti and @dziefem for upvoting my previous article. 7.2 Magnitude Earthquake Experience Have you ever experienced the most terrifying event that you thought that it could be the last day of your life? October 15, 2013, the town of Bohol was hit by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake. It was recorded as the most powerful earthquake that happened in the country ( Philippines ). It caused a massive distraction on the place and also to the nearby places such as Cebu. They compared the energy released by the quake like 32 Hiroshima bombs. Because of the impact of the quake many people had reportedly died and got injured. According to the report o f the NDRRMC, over 1.2 million people were affected by the said earthquake. Many infrastructures was also destroyed including houses, churches, schools and buildings. Roads and bridges were also heavily damaged. That day when the deadliest earthquake occurred, I was at Cebu at that time because I was happened to study there. It was a normal Tuesday morning for us. There was no class since it was declared as national holiday. It was 8 in the morning, I was transferring the heat water from the kettle to the vacuum flask ( thermos ) when I felt the ground grumbling. I was barefooted at that time so I could really felt the rumbling of the ground. At first, I thought it was just a sound caused when there's a big truck passing by. Seconds after, the ground were shaking as well as our house. It was a very strange and frightening experience when the very foundations of the house and surrounding area shake uncontrollably. All of us got panicked and ran outside the house. My grandmother was left at our store so I dashed  back at the store and assisted her outside. When we got in the street we can't see anything because of the dust from an old building across our street. It was really zero visibility. I was trembling as the ground continued shaking. I heard many people shouting out of fear. Some were praying loudly. At that moment, I thought that it was gonna be my last day. I was already crying while holding my grandmother. I was very worried about my family. I am not ready to die yet.I still have many dreams in life that I haven't achieved yet. The earthquake lasted for thirty seconds. When it stopped and the dusts were clear, I saw many people in the street. Some were also crying while holding their children. It was also then we realized that one of my aunt was left inside the house. She was stuck in the bathroom. She took a bath when the earthquake hit and she was not able to open the door. My aunt has physical disabilities that's why we were grateful that she was fine. We were terrified to go back inside the house because there was still after shocks. But later, I managed to go back at the house to get some things. When I entered the house, I saw our floor cracked and some of our things broke. Evening came but most of the residents in our street still stayed outside of their houses, including us. We were afraid because there was a fake message spreading that there will be another earthquake and it is stronger than before. Because of that, we decided to sleep in the street. It was my first time sleeping in the road. My father called to check our state. I told him that I want to go home and finish my studies in our province. I was terrified by that experience. Luckily, my father agreed. So, I went home bringing the trauma. Even in a little shake, I got easily freak out. It took me years to overcome that trauma. Because of that traumatic experience, I realized that our life is unpredictable. We don't know what happens in the future. What do you want today, do it today for all we know we might not get tomorrow. Fated by Lunar Eclipse *As in the soft and sweet eclipse, when soul meets soul on lover's lips.* *PercyBysshe Shelley* When you experience an excruciating heartbreak, would you allow yourself to love again? If not, how will you be able to find the right person? Many people who experienced from a very painful break up tend to be terrified to love again. They become more vigilant in guarding their hearts. But there are others also who are brave to take a chance in love. This story is just a sequel on my previous article "Kalayaan sa Pag-ibig". Hope you will read it. One fine evening when the moon was so bright and fascinating, my boardmates and I were having our dinner. All of them knew about my heart break. They teased me to post pictures on Facebook that could possibly get the attention of my ex-boyfriend. They came up to a cockamamie idea. Our landlady supported them and even suggested what to do . She called her friend who was also a student who occupied in the neighborhood. She instructed us to pose like a couple. I was reluctant at first but decided to go with the flow. They put pillow in my tummy to look like I'm truely pregnant. And then we took a pose and click the camera. And then one of my classmate which is also my boardmate uploaded the pictures on Facebook. Many got pranked including our teachers. From that day on, we became friends. We always talk to each other and share our experiences in life. He was also came from a long failed relationship. Maybe that is the reason why get along each other because we had the same experience about love. We enjoyed each other's company. Sometimes we forgot the time that we ended our prattle very late at night. We became very close to each other.  Though we are not in a relationship but we already have our endearment which is "asawa ko" ( my wife/husband). We got that endearment in one episodes of Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK). Valentine's day came. It was just a normal day for a person like me who has no boyfriend. When I got in my hostel, I was surprised when I saw a heart-shaped chocolate, beng-beng and cloud 9 in my bed. Our landlady told me who placed it because he asked permission to her. Actually, that was the first time I received something on Valentine's day so I was touched by his gesture. My boardmates teased me but I just ignored them. That time, I was not ready yet for another falling. I was afraid I might get hurt again. Months passed, we continued our friendship. He was sweet and caring friend. People around us thought that there's something fishy between us. They thought that we already upgraded our friendship to the higher level. Honestly, my feelings towards him changed. It's like the wall that I created to guard my heart slowly crumbled. But I hid it from him. Until several months passed, my feelings for him grows. I decided to tell him honestly. So I confessed to him but I told him that I did not expect him to reciprocate my feelings. From that day of my confession, I started to distance myself from him. It was in my mind that we are not compatible because I'm six years older than him. After a week, he confess what he felt. Like me, he was also petrified for new relationship. So, we decided to give it a try.    It took a lot of courage for us to gamble again in the field of love. We resolve to go where our feelings will bring us. Now we are both happy in our decision. This month we will celebrate our third year anniversary. We also received our greatest blessing which is our daughter. I know there will be challenges along the way, but if we face it together, I'm sure we can surpass it. There are no certain things when it comes to love. You may encounter pain, sufferings and challenges but just like the phrase that goes" There's a rainbow every after the rain", there will always be something better coming its way. So don't lose hope in love. Besides, it's still nice to love because love is the best feeling we could feel in this world. You may wonder why my title is fated by lunar eclipse. I use this title because during the night that we do the pregnancy prank, it was January and there was an astronomical event  at that time ( I think that was Super Blue Moon Eclipse ). Last January 2019, I conceived our baby. What a coincidence right.😅 Lead image source: https://stylecaster.com/penumbral-lunar-eclipse-2020/ Thank you for reading.😊🥰 -fredyzza07-❤️

Music 'N Me What is music to you? How is music affects your life? https://www.youredm.com/2015/09/07/music-is-one-of-the-keys-to-unlocking-your-brains-deepest-memories/amp/ According to Mehr et a., 2019, music is one of the most universal ways of expression and communication for humankind and is present in the everyday lives of people of all ages and from all cultures around the world. Through music, people can be able to express their feelings. Some made music as their language in expressing themselves. Many research suggested that music can beneficial both our physical and mental health. Some studies suggested that listening to music can have the following positive effects on health: 1. It's heart healthy. 2. It elevates mood. 3. It reduces stress. 4. It relieves symptoms of depression. 5. It stimulates memory. 6. It managed pain. 7. It eases pain. 8. It increases workout endurance. https://www.gethealthystayhealthy.com/articles/10-health-benefits-of-music Music for me is my best buddy especially when I'm bored or broken hearted. It also helps me calm when I'm stressed. It is my comfort when I'm hurt. It lightens my mood every time when I'm mad. Most especially, music serves as my savior when I was at the verge of depression. Usually when I get hurt I seek understanding and I seek resonance with my pain. I wanted to immerse myself in the ocean of emotional suffering. Maybe I'm masochistic person. I love hurting myself so much. But through music I can let my feelings flow to its melody. https://steemit.com/poetry/@misspinay85/a-music-of-a-broken-heart When I experienced my greatest heartbreak, music was my therapy. Every time when I feel like crying, I went on my room and play my playlist music on my phone. I remember my playlist title was "BROKEN"😅. They say if you're heart is broken, for you to move on, you have to feel the pain until you feel no more. So, that's what I did. I sought songs that are expressing exactly what I feel, songs of lost love, desperate loneliness, and sometimes the bitter taste of betrayal. I played these songs over and over again, laid on my bed with the salt tears running down on my face. The songs are my closest companions during my heartbreak, and I never forget them. Here was my playlist "BROKEN" which I repeatedly listened to: Malaya by Moira Dela Torre Huling Hiling by Repablikan Luha by Repablikan Paglisan by Repablikan Now That You're Gone by Juris Someone's Always Saying Goodbye by Morissette Amon Akin Ka Na Lang by Morissette Amon All or Nothing by O'Town Bakit Pa Ba by Sarah Geronimo Till My Heartaches End by Ella Mae Music is not only for broken hearted individuals. It has been also an essential for everyday life for many people. Many people listen to music while waiting for the bus, hiking or driving in a car. Some even listening to music while studying their lessons. Others used music in expressing oneself just like the singers and dancers. When I was pregnant, music also was my best companion. I was always left alone in our boarding house since my partner was still studying at that time. It was just me and my phone. So, to get rid of boredom I always play music. They said that music is also good for the baby. There was one time when I play a jolly music, my belly was bouncing too. It feels like my baby inside me was also dancing while listening to the music. Music indeed is a great instrument for every individual. It is amazing to think that though music is intangible and invisible but it magically touch everyone's heart and soul. It can heal wounds for those hearts that are broken, it can send message to everyone and it helps expressing feelings. It is really a wide field and it is beneficial to the society. A million thanks to @Momentswithmatti and @Jane for reading and upvoting my previous article. Sabay kaming nakapagtapos at pinakilala niya ako sa kapatid niya nung graduation day. Motivation: Words https://jasonvbarger.com/motivational-speakers/3-purposes-for-motivational-speeches/ Motivation is a very broad topic. According to Kendra Cherry, motivation is the process that initiates, guides, and maintains goal-oriented behaviors. It is what causes you to act, whether it is getting a glass of water to reduce thirst or reading a book to gain knowledge. It involves the biological, emotional, social, and cognitive forces that activate behavior. In everyday usage, the term "motivation" is frequently used to describe why a person does something. It is the driving force behind human actions. There are many things or sources that can motivate a person. It is either intrinsic or extrinsic. Intrinsic motivation comes from within the individual, while extrinsic motivation comes from outside the individual. Most individuals are likely motivated by their parents. And I'm not exempted for that. But mine is quite different. As what I have shared in my first article, my mother left us when we were young. Eight years ago, I was already 20 years old at that time, I had the chance to communicate my mother for the first time. I was at Laguna because I worked as a house maid. My brother told me that our mother is currently living at Cavite. We were really near from each other. I already knew that she have her new family. While working their, my heart was hoping that maybe I can be able to see her. So, I asked my brother how can I contact her. He gave me the name of Cleo ( our half sister ). At first I was reluctant to chat because I didn't know what to do or what to say. So, I composed myself and gathered all the courage that I have to send a message. I introduced myself politely and asked if I can be able to speak with her mother. Yes you read it right. I used the word HER mother instead of OUR mother. I don't know but I couldn't find myself calling her my mother. I waited hours but there was no reply from her. The next day, while doing my work, I received a chat from Cleo. She said that our mother wants to talk to me. I didn't know what I felt at that time. I was nervous, afraid, excited and a little bit happy. My emotions were mixed. I gave her my mobile number so they can call me. The night after I gave my number, she called me. The moment I heard her voice, my tears fell down on my face freely. I didn't know why I cried when I heard her voice. It felt like there's something squeezing my heart. So, I hanged up the phone. I didn't want her to hear me crying. I just texted them that my battery is running low. We continued texting. She asked if I already finished my high school. Then after that, she offered me to continue my study in college. She said she will pay my tuition but she wanted me to stay in their place. I declined her offer. The very reason why I rejected her offer was the fear that I might experience worst things in their place. I mean, I barely know them especially her husband. From what I have heard, her husband was drunkard. I already have trust issues when it comes to men. I think she was mad that I didn't accept her offer. She told me the words that changed my perspective towards her. She really told me "Bahala Kayo sa Buhay Nyo". I was hurt. I thought that she will welcomed me just like in the movie that when the mother met her long lost child, she will open her arms so wide and hug them. But I guess that scene is not applicable in my world. I realized that maybe she doesn't really want us to be together. She knew where I was when I was young but she didn't bother to get me. Maybe she had her reasons but I'm not ready yet to know it. From that day on, I stopped my communication with her. I promised to my self that I will finish college without her help. I grew up without her by my side so I can survive in this world even without her. So, I went back in our province. I applied for scholarship and luckily I was granted. My journey in college was not easy but when I remember what she said, it reminds me to keep going. I used those words to motivate me not to give up. In God's grace, I got my diploma. Thanks to her words that I used as a stepping stone to achieve my dream. We still have no communication from each other. Maybe someday I can find forgiveness in my heart. Now that I am also a mother, I am hoping that we can talk to each other and reconcile. I was challenged by my very generous friend @Zhyne06 to write an article about motivation . This writing prompt was given by @JonicaBradley and the rules of this challenge are the following: 1. Write about Motivation. 2. Write 100% original content. 3. Write atleast 600 words. 4. Embracing Myself Why are you so thin? Are you sick? Do you still eat? You look like a scarecrow. You look like a piece of paper. When a strong wind blows you might be blown away. Those are the words that I usually hear from other people. For them, it might be a joke but for me it is like a knife that slowly cut my confidence away from me. Nowadays, there is no place for people in society who are not confident enough to express themselves. Many people out there are self-confident and are gaining success because of this attribute, however, the ones that lack self-confidence are always struggling hard to get recognized in the society. Malnourished kid- that's what I am when I was young. I had bloated tummy, skinny body and dark complexion. As I have stated in my first article entitled "My Painful Past", when I was young I experienced eating foods for chicken or pigs. I was a child who was deprived of having a healthy life and complete family. I even experienced eating raw rice just to fill in my empty stomach. Pity as it is but that was how I survived during those days together with my little sister. So by that experience, I think not just my mental aspect was having trauma but also my physical attribute. I grew up rattleboned, underweight and emaciated. At first I didn't mind if they call me scarecrow or toothpick. But as I grew up, I think I was high school, I started to feel pity for myself. There was one time, one of my teacher asked me to join the pageant in our school. I was a little bit happy because I thought that maybe they saw potentials in me. I was about to answer yes but one of my classmates said that I am not suitable in that kind of activity. He said that my body is not for pageant material. I may hit other contestants with my bone, "he added. I was so humiliated at that time because all my classmates laughed. From that day forward, I didn't join some extra curricular in our school. I wanted to take vitamins but I don't have money. Our family was also striving for daily needs. Sometimes other people compare me from their children. They said that their children is younger than me but they look like older than I am. But what can I do. I can't adjure my body to grow fatter. Building self-confidence was really hard for me. When I started to build a little, there are other people who want to crumple it. But I already learned my lesson. I learned that if you continue to let other people destroy your confidence, you let them destroy your life. I started to embrace my flaws, love my body and I learn to ignore other people's view about my body. I changed my way of thinking. I learned to focus less on the negatives and more on the positives. I stopped dwelling on the negative messages of the past and begin centering myself on the positive traits in my life today. For us to truly feel confident, we need to believe ourselves that we are capable in doing things-especially the things that we love doing. The best way to get that belief is through using your skills and talents — by learning and practicing. Confidence helps us move forward to discover and develop our capabilities. When we see what we're capable of and take pride in our achievements, confidence gets even stronger. Therefore, self-confidence is essential to stay happy and achieve success in life. We must learn ways and techniques to become confident so that you could face any challenges in life and keep going without looking back. BESHIES (Friends ) **Friendship is a distinctively personal relationship that is grounded in a concern on the part of each friend for the welfare of the other, for the other’s sake, and that involves some degree of intimacy. ( Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy )** As they say no man is an island. I do believe that each one of us have circle of friends. Friendship also plays important role in every individual's happiness. They are the ones whom we can lean on. A 2017 study in the journal Personal Relationships found that the presence of strong friendships is actually more indicative of overall health and happiness in old age than even family involvement and support! The benefits of friendship in general, however, are lifelong. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1111/pere.12187 According to Degged-White, there are different types of friendship. These are acquaintance, friend, close friend and best friend. Acquaintances are easy to categorize. They're the people who aren't complete strangers, who you run into regularly at a place like the coffee shop or work cafeteria, but you don't really know. "They are people we know well enough to make small talk with on a regular basis. By contrast, standard-issue "friends" are those that we try to run into or mix with. "The women that you share carpool duties with for kids' sports and that you usually hang out with or spend time with at the games, for instance. Or people that are your 'crowd' and the ones that you tend to socialize with on a regular basis," she explains. These buddies are certainly valuable, but when the going gets rough you're more likely to reach out to a "close friend" for help or support. They're also the people you trade secrets with. Degges-White elaborates: "There's not just a strong level of trust between these friends, there's also a whole lot of unconditional regard and affinity. You may not like a close friend's choices, but you'd defend her right to make them." Last but not least is the truly few and far between phenomenon of the "best friend." "Best friends are the rarest type of friend and the kind of friend that we all need to have in our lives. It's the friend who gets you without you having to explain yourself. It's the type of friend who loves you no matter what," Degges-White says. And they're not necessarily people you talk to every day. "You might go weeks or months without connecting, but when you do re-connect, it's as if no time has passed at all. These friendships are different in their ability to flex and endure even if life temporarily gets in the way. These are 'heart-to-heart' or 'soul friends' and they can give you comfort even if you're out of touch with this friend." https://people.howstuffworks.com/what-is-friendship.htm These are my friends. I consider them as my best friends. Our friendship started when we were in college. We were all irregular students that's why we always relate to each other. Though like any other friends, we also have misunderstandings but at the end of the day, we always reconcile. When one of us has a problem, we always support and help each other. Maybe the characteristics that we have to make our friendship work are we are loyal to each other, we always ready to help each other in times of difficulty, we lift each other's confidence and most importantly we trust each other. Though it is inevitable for us to have different personalities but we tried to understand each other. Sometimes we argue but our love for each other always prevail. There was one time when I decided to stop my study due to financial problem. Though I have scholarship, it's still not enough because it only support my tuition fee. When it comes to my allowance, projects, contributions, and other miscellaneous fees, I was really struggling because I belong to a less fortunate family. I was really surprised what they did because they went to our house even though our place is far from theres. They encouraged me to continue my studies. They promised to support me as far as they can. I was so touched by there concern. Now, we all reached our dream. We finished our studies and have our bachelor's degree. I'm so lucky to have a circle of friends who are supportive and never left me behind. Now, we may have different path but we still communicate each other. -fredyzza07-

Finally found my happiness What is genuine happiness? How it felt like? Where can I find real happiness? Can I find it in a certain place? To a person? Or a thing? These are the questions formulated in my mind everytime when I'm alone. I saw a lot of people wears smile on their faces but in the back of my mind there's these questions that keep on popping. Are they really happy? Is their smile really from their heart? Maybe I had that questions because I am like that. I am a kind of person who always smiles, laughs and crack jokes. Many people see me as a happy person. They thought that I don't have any problems in life. But the truth is-Yes, I smiles a lot, I laugh hard, I crack lame jokes but deep within me I felt empty. I always asked myself when can I genuinely laugh. When can I feel the real happiness. I prayed God to let me feel and experience what happiness is. As a product of a broken family, I haven't experienced being cared and loved from my parents. Growing with so much struggles and painful pasts, made me crave for happiness. I always seek it like a treasure but can't find it anywhere. For me, it is like an unreachable dream. No matter how hard I tried to be happy, deep inside I can feel that something is missing. Something in me is not complete. I longed the essence of happiness. No matter what I do I always ends up at night questioning myself. I always ends up crying while hugging my pillow trying to find comfort. Until an angel came- my baby. The very first time I heard her heart beats during my first prenatal check up, I got so emotional. I almost cried when I saw her in the monitor. I can't explain the happiness I felt during that time. God answered my prayers.❤️ I told myself, this is the happiness I always dreamed of. The happiness that really comes from within.😊(literally and figuratively ). The feeling is surreal. I can still remember the moment I first saw her, I had this indescribable feeling especially when the nurse put her in my chest. She was so tiny yet she fulfills the missing part of my life. She made me whole.😊 She made me feel that I'm capable of achieving all my dreams.😊 Every time I look at her, I can't explain my feeling. It feels like it melts every time I stare her small face. When I became a mother, my life changed. I no longer cried at night because of longing. Because of that , I made a promise to myself that I will give all the love and care for my baby. I won't let her experience all the hardships that I encountered. I know it's not easy to be a mother, but I will do my best to be a good mother to her. I will never leave the gift that God gave me. I thank God for giving me the happiness that I need. Now, I finally found the source of my genuine happiness. https://www.steviva.com/happiness-in-the-present/

My painful past. **Are you a product of a broken family? Do you ask yourself why you have to go all those hardships? Have you wondered why your parents broke up and left you and your siblings to other people?** A **family** is a group of people who want as well as choose to be together embraced by a bond so powerful and strong that not even the slightest test of trials or troubles can breach. **Family** means nobody gets left behind or forgotten." https://askinglot.com/what-is-the-deeper-meaning-of-family I guess mine is different. I come from a broken family. Our mother left us when were little. I don't even remember her face and I haven't see her in personal until now. My siblings and I got separated. My other siblings were at my grandmother (on my mothers' side) and my other two brothers were left on a foundation. Me and our youngest sister was left by our father at one of my mothers' relative. Unfortunately, our aunt didn't like us. She didn't take good care of us. Sometimes they never left us food. So in order to satisfy our hunger, my sister and I decided to eat foods for the chicken. Sometimes we asked food to our neighbors. But everytime our aunt knew about it, she hit us with a broomstick.I remember, there was one time our father visited us. I cried asking him to get us out of that house and bring us where ever he would go. But my father refused. He said that he can't be with us because of his job. We endure our situation for a year. I think I was only 5 years old at that time and my sister was 3. After 2 years of suffering, finally our father decided to get us. I was happy because I thought that we can be with him. But that happiness vanished when he told us that he will left us to his brothers'place again. He promised that he will come visit us often. Fortunately, his brother accept us even though they are also struggling for their daily life. Our father promised them to support us by sending money every month. Our life became better because we can be able to eat 3 times daily and no more eating animal foods or raw rice. We were taken care also and they also treat us as members of their family. At first, our father fulfilled his promised. He sends money every month so we were able to go to school. But as years went by, our father started to changed. He barely sends us money and our uncle ( my fathers' brother) also changed. I thought we can be able to live peacefully in the new place but I was wrong. Another painful memories started. I was already 8 years old at that time when I noticed the behavioral changed of our uncle. He became so touchy and sometimes I find him weird. There was one night that I suddenly woke up because I felt that someone is touching my private part. Then I saw him in front of me. I was so afraid at that moment. He stared at me for a while then he went back to his sleeping spot beside his wife. From that moment on, I started to keep distance on him. Every night I'm always afraid thinking that he will do it again or he will do something worst. I hid that from anyone because I'm also afraid that they won't believe me, especially his wife. His wife is so kind that's why I don't want to ruin their life. I thought that it was only him who can do that to me. Not until his other brother started to tried to molest me when I was high school. Everytime I am alone at the house, he come and show his private part to me. What I always did at that time was to run outside the house everytime I saw him. I couldn't imagine why they did all of those to me. I am their niece but they give me traumas.😥They were supposed to be my family but they are the ones who broke me and the reason of my trust issues. In my mind, I asked myself why our life was like that. We don't have parents who will take good care and love us like any other kids. The parents who can protect us from all the danger in this world. But I guess they are right. The world is unfair. Now, both of my parents already have their own families. We, my siblings, have different lives also. I dream for us to be together. Maybe not now but I know time will come. PS. Tears roll down on my face while typing this. But past is past. I have to move on.
