My garden looks like a mess! Old leaves still cover the ground, which is good, as they protect the plants from the cold. After the weekend storm though, lots of fallen pots and my rainwater bottles were blown all around. Looks like a tip more than a garden 😅
Anyways, that’s all easy to clean up. Many people had their cars smashed by the fallen trees, some road were blocked too. So I count my blessings and I’m happy my old fence and shed had survived it.
And I found a few flowers too :)
I would share a picture of what’s outside my windows today, but I don’t dare to go out. It’s super windy and raining heavily and I hope my fence can survive this!
Instead I’ll share this beautiful orchid with you. I almost missed the flower spike, because it was in the corner of the window and the spike grew in the direction of that corner.
This surely wouldn’t happen if I took them all out for regular watering and feeding, but I skip these in winter period.
However the spring is just around the corner, so I should restart the regular session soon. Next week it is!

Oh no! I accidentally broke off one of the flowers from my blooming orchid. I really dislike when this happens, but at least it’s only one and the rest of them are still safely on the flower spike.
Some Orchid flowers are very resilient, they stay fresh for a long time after cutting, but still not as long as when they’re attached to the source of ‘food’, so I prefer them to be attached to the plant. After all, I wait a minimum of a year before new flowers show up on most of my orchids.
What’s done is done though, so the rest of its life this flower will spend on my desk. Hopefully work will go better thanks to it 😉

I have a beautiful orchid from Cattleya family flowering in my house right now. I hope his will brighten your day.
Valentines for me is just another day of work, but since I work for myself it’s a gift on its own, which I give myself every day.
This Valentines all I want is my own Pega though! Prices have dropped significantly, but I haven’t saved up enough to buy one still. Next best to owning my own is the announcement in AxieBCH Discord yesterday that I am in the next batch for receiving 50/50 Pega from the guild. This really made my day 🥰

Spring is just around the corner GaiaLovers! Between old foliage and dry branches of last years plants I can see new life sprouting.
Crocuses are the first spring bulbs to come up, but I can also see some hyacinths poking through as well as tulips leaves.
My red cyclamen still going strong. It seems to like the slightly acidic soil I used for my magnolia tree, cause it’s doing best out of all my cyclamens.

I started writing the story of my front door, but it became too long and sparked an idea for another article, so I’ll just make it short here.
My front door is now working again and I can enjoy my cup of coffee in the morning sun on my front porch again.
I haven’t done this for months, mainly due to the weather, but also the broken door. I forgot how peaceful it feels. My garden is slowly waking up to life again, soon there will be time for spring cleaning, but in the meantime I better plant some seeds!
My sleep patterns are upside down again. It’s gone 3am and I’m still wide awake. I wonder how will I get up for the meeting in the morning?!
Ehh, 5 alarms set and I hope at least one will wake me up.

My new phone gallery is full of screenshots of NFTs and other crypto related stuff, so I thought it was time to rich into the depths if my old phone, as there are many beautiful shots here that never been posted.
This is what I found - my cute Calibrachoa or Mini Petunia or Petunia Million Bells. I discovered this beautiful variety of petunia only 2 years ago at the local nursery and I’ve been buying it each season since then.
It’s such a cheerful little plant which blooms continuously throughout the summer and come in many different colour variations.
Sky was on fire this evening. So are my hips from too many days of doing nothing!
I decided it was time to go outside for a nice walk, do some yoga and have a bath with some Epson salts. Nothing helped my hips - still painful, so tomorrow I’ll try to apply salsa therapy if the pain still exists.

I am really excited about all the new projects that are showing up on SmartBCH. One thing I don’t like about them though is that they’re not as liquid as tokens, which you can sell and buy anytime you want. With NFTs you need a buyer to sell and if you’re not prepared to sell low, you might be waiting for a long time.
BlockNG already implemented a solution for this where you can borrow money using your LawPunks as collateral. That’s great, although the amount you can borrow is not that high, so I haven’t tried this yet. I know Tropical Finance is working on a solution for this too, so I’m looking forward to it.
For now I think I need to put some breaks on and balance my portfolio in a healthy way, so I have equal amount invested in liquid and not so liquid assets.
BTW - those who were holding a minimum of 100k Wojak before mid January have received free wacky Wojak NFT while waiting for Video NFT distribution.
Yesterday’s evening walk was so beautiful. Today I am a little late for the sunset, but I will got for a walk anyway. I also skipped my salsa classes and social yesterday, so I have excess of energy to spend. If I don’t do it, I feel a bit anxious.

Don’t raise your hopes too much, it’s just a normal social dancing video with one of the new generation Alchemy students, not a performance;) It’s fun to watch nonetheless.
I managed to do a few productive things today and also one of my Queens NFTs sold for 0.66 BCH, so I was able to mint 2 more pandas to complete my second team of pandas. All of my pandas are common, but hey ho, I’m looking forward to the game. Also every time I mint 2 of them I get a couple - which is perfect for future breeding.
Now just need to finish my axie game and I’m ready to leave to my friend’s place for some puppy love 😍
Today feels like Sunday to me rather than Monday. I came back home from London around 1am last night and by the time I wind down to sleep it was probably 3am. Every muscle in my body was painful and crying for a rest. I really need to take my fitness seriously now. I used to be able to do these weekends of dancing and only end up with painful feet!
I can’t quite get my head back into crypto for now. Just played all my p2e games and looked at the marketcap cash to see how bad it gets 😅 It’s pretty bloody! I managed to mint 2 pandas while I was still away, but looking at the chats in TG they’re not great.
Oh well, I’ll just stay in my blissful dance bauble for the rest of today and hopefully I can do sth constructive tomorrow. Probably will write a dance article tomorrow too with a video of myself dancing, as so many people asked for it in the past, but I didn’t have any recent ones to add. Yesterday finally my friend recorded me dancing and the pics below are snapped from this video. Watching myself dance socially is one of the best tool for improvement.

Some gems from our stroll around London today. I’m not a fan of big cities, but once in a blue moon it’s nice to be tourist for day.
Last night we were back in our rooms after 3am from the salsa party and for some reason I couldn’t wind down to sleep for hours, but a nice English breakfast and matcha late brought me back to life. I guess I’ll have to sleep next week.
Now just a few races with my lovely Pega, shower and off to the next party 😍
Forest anyone? These are from earlier this week. I’m so happy to have this beautiful forest nearby. Next week I’ll go again.
Today however I have been busy bee. Shopping, treatments at my friend, beautician, packing and in a few hours I will be on my to London.
This weekend there is a party on every day of the week, so my friends and I decided to book a hotel in London and make it our little get away. I’m super excited, but also a little stressed with too much to do!

New NFT collection is out in SmartBCH! Another record minting - 10k NFT’s were minted in 3 hours for a whooping 500 BCH. Thrones took similar amount of time to mint, although the total was 300 BCH, as mint was 0.03 bch per piece.
Did you guys manage to mint some? I minted a few and I love all of them as each is unique and beautiful. I haven’t checked the rarity page yet, but I’m super happy with all I have.
It was definitely worth staying up till 1am for the mint, although before I fell asleep around 3am, I was not yet able to see any of my reapers, as the faces were only revealed after the whole mint was completed.
This morning I woke up to over 1.5k msgs from Oasis auction bot. People are crazy about reapers, I love it!
Before I fell asleep I also grabbed a few Lambos. Not sure why they scheduled the mint for exactly the same time as the reapers, but I guess more people had a chance of minting some, as there are only 2500 in the collection. Not a fun of lambo to be honest, but I like to have some NFTs from each collection on SmartBCH.

This morning I really didn’t want to get up from bed. My mood was low even before I woke up. On days like today it’s better for me not to work much, but go into the forest to loose the sadness.
I walked for 2 hours again and the sun was already down when I was walking back. Almost full moon replaced it with a beautiful pinky glow.
Last 2 pictures are for Lee. He asked what wellies were on my previous forest post. Wellies are super useful for this time of the year when forest is saturated with rainwater and many places are covered with mud. Luckily there is a stream just before I leave the forest, so it’s perfect to wash my wellies 💙
My friend is on Holiday in Argentina and sent me these amazing captures of the city that was under water for 25 years apparently! I find them fascinating. Atlantide of Argenina she called it.
But hey… can you see the animal in the sky on the first picture? This made me laugh and my friend only noticed it when I pointed it out. What can you see?

The sun was shining today, so I decided to go out for a walk in the forest. It was super muddy, my wellies were so so dirty, but luckily there is a little stream on the way back to clean them up.
I walked and walked and sun was already setting when I was coming back after 2 hours. I felt so much better. I really need to do this more often!

Usually fall and winter make me feel a little down, because of the lack of sun. This year however I am way to busy to feel down. I’m looking forward to spring and working on my allotment again, but for now I’m happy that we’re still in winter, cause I can work a lot now and have more free time later.

Last night’s Tropical AMA was super fun! I was so very tired and was hoping for an early-ish night, so on purpose I wasn’t jumping on live AMA, because I know that once I start I can’t stop!
I was at my friend’s since Tuesday and she asked me to invest some money for her. I usually refuse, but since I am now more confident in my investing skills and NFT world is about to explode on SmartBCH plus BCH price is dropping, I thought now it’s a good time to help out my friends too.
We spent half a day setting up various accounts on her laptop and phone to buy BCH. It’s not easy to concentrate on work with 3 lovely cuddly dogs demanding your attention! By the evening we finally had a few BCH in MM and I was planning to leave the NFT shopping for this morning, but then I read back messages in Tropical Finance TG and saw all the new, beautiful NFTs from Army Men collection and I had to jump on live AMA!
As a result I have have 6 new beautiful dudes!
I was also a witness to yet another bid war. Fly wanted to buy one of the Army Men with the crown for the fixed price of 1BCH, but it turned out somebody else saw an opportunity and snapped it! Another one was then listed on the market for and auction and after a little bidding war he was able to buy him for 1.4BCH.
FlySky loves to hunt for the dudes with the crown, so he also went into a bidding war for Iron Men dude and won the auction @ 10BCH!! (Starting price 5.5BCH)
So that’s how my ‘early-ish’ night ended… bloody 2am again 😅

2022 started amazingly. Last night I went for a salsa party to London with a few of my friends and as many of you know salsa is my happy pill, so I am very very happy.
Once I got home at around 3am, I was even more happy to see that I won an auction for an umbrella gull on #Oasis. My gull collection now has 3 unique gulls, ready for staking when it starts.
And then I updated my portfolio in preparation for writing December summary. All I can say is that my jaw dropped when I realised how much I have earned in #SmartBCH last month. I need to pinch myself to check if I’m not dreaming.
I’ll write all about it tomorrow. For now it’s time to sleep. It’s 2:33 am!
