obey first before complaining

Most of the children right now have a problem on how they will obey there parents. I was wondering those time of our grand parent on how they raise our parents.In my own personal observation my parent had a lot of respect with my grandparents, they never raise there voice or tell something that might hurt the feeling of my grand parents. I think that when you have a respect with your parents it is to obey them without any complain. As a parent now i realize to implement how my parents raise me as a child and to become a parent also.When i was a child my mother always told me to obey what she want me to do because she will never ask thing that will make me a worthless person. She thought me a lot of things in doing chores in our house , always take the responsibility first as a daughter so i will not be left behind by the world.That's why now that i already had children i always told them to obey first because i will never let them do things that will make them suffer ,it is for there own good . I gained respect by telling the consequence of they want to do.

Personally, I do not think many children have a problem obeying. Some have and those who do not obey are noisy shorter, trouble makers, and you hear them more than those who do behave. My parents listened to their parents but I doubt my mother obeyed or respected them. Times change so does society, attitude, and the fact many parents worldwide have no longer the time to invest in their children. They are put at, have to work, and hardly see them. What worries me more is the increasing total disrespect of boys if it comes to elderly people, their mother, sisters, women. This for sure has in my country to do with a change of culture. Please, note the rules if you like to add this to the community Parenting. It's a good subject but it needs some polishing and extra sentences. I will approve it for now.
