Wings Ornithologists at Cornell have built a bird. They have built several. They have built a bird that sings. They have built a bird that dances. They have built a series of birds that quietly watch Jonathan Franzen get into the car every morning. They have built a bird that wants to hire other birds to replace the ticker-tape at ticker-tape parades. Ornithologists at Cornell have assembled themselves into what they *claim* is a giant bird and are slowly making their way down university halls, going, “Squawk! *Squawk!*” Car keys of the mind left to the branches, and, ‘Where are my keys?’ and — you hop, and — you point.
