Hello everyone! I continue to acquaint you with the animals of the Moscow region. I already showed lizards. Here is another small animal that can still be found in our region. This is the most common type of toad in Europe - simply the toad or the common toad (Bufo bufo). Judging by the size, it's still young toad. It was about 2 cm. Another name for this toad is the gray toad. But contrary to this name, the kid we met was of a beautiful brown color with some sort of burgundy shades. Toads are useful for gardens and orchards, as they eat different insect pests. But my friend and I saw this toad far from friend's garden, she crossed the path in the forest. We did not touch the toad. In the skin covered with small wart-like lumps they have hidden glands secreting poison. And, although for man, the poison of a common toad is not dangerous, we did not dare to take it in our hands. Just photographed. * Всем привет! Я продолжаю знакомить вас с животными Подмосковья. Я уже показывала ящериц. Вот ещё одно небольшое животное, которое всё ещё можно встретить в нашем регионе. Это самый распространенный в Европе вид жаб – обыкновенная жаба (Bufo bufo). Судя по размеру, это ещё жабёнок. Он был примерно 2 см. Другое название этой жабы – серая жаба. Но вопреки этому названию малыш, встреченный нами, был красивого коричневого цвета с какими-то даже бордовыми оттенками. Жабы полезны для садов и огородов, так как поедают различных насекомых-вредителей. Но эту жабу мы с подругой увидели далеко от её сада, она переходила дорожку в лесу. Трогать жабу мы не стали. В бугристой коже у них скрыты железы, выделяющие яд. И, хотя для человека, яд обыкновенной жабы не опасен, мы не решились её брать на руки. Только сфотографировали.
