These are such amazing plants for me, I saw on October 2, 2021 in Moscow on a flowerbed near the New Tretyakov Gallery. About a round multi-colored head of cabbage, I already knew that it is not for nothing that it looks like a cabbage. This is the ornamental cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. Acephala). I have seen such heads of cabbage in flower beds before. But my botanical discovery this time was that this unusual dark purple plant, similar to a curly palm, is also a cabbage! This is Kale Redbor or leaf cabbage. Lacy lush leaves of this cabbage do not form a head of cabbage, and the stem is quite tall. * Вот такие удивительные для меня растения я увидела 2 октября 2021г в Москве на клумбе около Новой Третьяковки. Про круглый разноцветный кочан я уже знала, что это он не зря похож на капусту. Это и есть капуста - декоративная (Brassica oleracea var. Acephala). Мне встречались и раньше клумбы с ней. Но моим ботаническим открытием в этот раз было то, что вот это необычное темно-фиолетовое растение, похожее на кудрявую пальму, это тоже капуста! Это капуста листовая Редбор. Кружевные пышные листья этой капусты не образуют кочан, а стебель довольно высокий.
