Do you what these are? They are called "Lanzones" locally in the Philippines or Lansium parasiticum, commonly known as langsat or longkong in English; duku in Indonesian or dokong in Malay, is a species of tree in the Mahogany family with commercially cultivated edible fruits. The species is native to Southeast Asia. I remember way back 1990s when i was still an elementary student there is a folktale about its origin in Filipino or Tagalog language "Alamat ng Lanzones", there are other "Alamat" or tales taught to children about everything's origin. I miss the times when we are just small and playing.
