A few more days to go and it's December! What makes you excited about this upcoming Christmas? Me, I am very excited to see my hometown filled with colorful and playful lights again. After the pandemic, the festival here was postponed for consecutive years. Our hometown is known as The Christmas Capital of Western Visayas and everyone is very welcome to attend, witness, and feel the Christmas vibes here. There were a lot of foods being displayed and sold on the plaza and also in the food court and everything was glowing with different lights. After how many years of no festivity in the town, this year, our Mayor and the LGU decided to reopen and have this Iwag Festival be celebrated again. For sure there will be lots of townspeople and tourists who will witness this most awaited event. And in the opening of lights, for sure there will be a grand fireworks display again. Just like in the photos I attached. These shots were taken by me last 2019 during the opening of the lights festival. ☺
