“A Wonderful Day I am grateful for.”

*November 8, 2021* *Monday* ***Though each day might be the same as usual, each day could still be different in so many ways, some things might happen and will never happen again in the future days to come. So in each day, let's always learn to see the good if there's a chance.*** Today is just like any other day we had with 24 hours, with breakfast, lunchtime, and dinner too. But today is a bit unique from the normal days I have. No paper works, no encoding, no other online stuff it's because it's my schedule for my second dose (vaccination)! Yesterday my cousin and I agreed that we should be there at the vaccination area at 7 am. We decided to make it earlier today because some of my cousins got their second dose of Pfizer vaccine the last day and they said there are lots of people present during their vaccination day. So, imagining the scenario triggered us and made a call. Okay, 7 am it's a deal. The night came, even I was tempted to open my phone to make noise at noise.cash, I resisted. I am afraid I might wake up late for tomorrow's event. So, I decided to rest my body in preparation for my second dose too. And the morning came, I woke up at 5 am and I was thinking it was too early to get ready, I get back to sleep. And you know what, that's the worst decision I made today. 😅 As I woke up again from a quick sleep I had, it's already 6:30 am! I woke up my husband since it's also his schedule for the second dose. I get up and took a bath immediately, ate breakfast, and have the kids eat up their meals too. My cousin came and they're all ready to go to the vaccination site. She, together with her father and younger brother were both ready and they were waiting for us (hubby and me). Since it's 7:15 am, I told them to just go ahead. They went first and together with hubby, we went to the site at 7:30. We saw a long line and I saw them, my cousins falling inline. I'm just glad they were just a few steps away from us. But a sudden downpour came and the line was broken. We find a roof to protect us from the rain yet we were slightly soaked and wet. Then some health workers waved to us and instructed us to get inside the gym nearby. Together with other folks to be vaccinated, we waited for further instructions. We waited for a few minutes, almost 20 minutes and as the rain stopped, we headed to the Rural Health Unit, where the vaccination will be held. We're just glad those who are scheduled for AstraZeneca's second dose were prioritized. There were lots of processes and happenings that occurred during our vaccination but I won't get further. What matters to me is that we're finally fully vaccinated today! Despite an “epic failed” episode this morning, we were able to still get vaccinated together as a group. And of course, this time I got my #jabwelldone shot. 🤣

`I guess, my cousin put a filter on this, I feel I was frosty, too cold. 🤣` *This day doesn't just end with my vaccination journey.* Because of the rain, we had earlier at the vaccination site, I thought we will be having bad weather throughout the day. But I was mistaken, instead, we had very calm weather the whole afternoon. And while I'm sipping my coffee, my cousin invited me for a quick joy ride with the kids! *Oh, it's been a while! I miss the fields of green a lot!* And gladly we passed by on the location. Despite the hotness of the sun, I managed to capture some clicks and I am very happy.

***The street where we used to play as kids. 😊***

***The rice field! It's been a while since I passed by on this street.***

*Aside from the photos I had, what makes me happy is that this day has been good to me. The start-up might be imperfect, still the good came in before the day ceases.* This quick sudden joy ride gave me a new fresh feeling once again, it's truly nice to come out even for a few times and enjoy the beauty of nature around you. That's why I always considered myself lucky for this scenery around me. I am still lucky to enjoy things like this even for a moment. I am fortunate, not all could appreciate and enjoy the same sight as I have here. These days, I am feeling full and hectic due to the school works I faced, and I realized, a little time for relaxation is what I need. So this day became special to me because I got to relax and unwind even for a short span. *Let me just cherish this day, this wonderful day, I am grateful for.* Thanks for reading!
