𝑳𝒂𝒐 π’π’Š π‘»π’‚π’π’Šπ’”π’• π‘»π’†π’Žπ’‘π’π’† in Kuantan, Malaysia is a major tourism destination in the area. Paying homage to the founder of Taoism, Lao Zi, the temple houses a 7 metre-tall statue of him. Also known as Dragon Temple for its Golden Dragon structure that is 823 metres in length, it is said to be the longest "dragon structure" in the world and is listed in the Malaysia Book of Records. Pay a small fee to enter from the dragon's tail and exit from its mouth, to the proper temple grounds. This walk through the dragon is believed to improve the luck of the person. I walked the length of the dragon, and all I can remember is that it was so hot, as I arrived in the middle of the day, that all I had in mind was, "When is this path ending?" 🀣 I know, I know, I should have had a Taoist mantra in my mind or something, instead of wishing the challenge of walking under the hot sun ended sooner rather than later. #Travel
