Spotted this lil' birdie perched on my mango tree. Got a friend to help me to ID it... this is the Juvenile Olive-Backed Sunbird. It's so cute. Wish I could take a clearer shot, but I had to walk close and still zoom in, as it was hidden among the thick leaves of my tree.

Isn't 'zoom' a great thing? I was photographing a bald eagle nest a few years ago, using the zoom capabilities so I wouldn't spook them from their aerie. (photo taken APRIL 10, 2019)
Oh wow, this is a great shot. I've never seen eagles nesting before, normally just flying or gliding. Yes, I love the zoom feature. I can't go back to using cameras without ultra-zoom. I'm spoilt already. LOL
We called that Tamsi here and they are all in our mango tree too.
That's so nice to know that you have this species of bird also. I love its colors.
at the same time I love how they make sounds.
It's clear already. Locally we call that "tamsi".
Such a beautiful animal. Love those colours!
Yes, I love the colours also. So pretty but makes it hide so well among the leaves. LOL
The power of camouflage 😉
Yes, God's creation is amazing.
