πππππ ππ As we enter the third full lockdown tomorrow for tentatively two weeks, things are a little crazy over here with panic buying. Life has not been the same since COVID-19 swept over us, causing Malaysia to be placed under a nationwide lockdown on 18th March, 2020. It's been more than a year and things have not improved. In fact, after all the measures taken, the situation has turned worse. One thing I realised from this episode is that we have lost our freedom. No longer can we move around like we used to, drop by at a randomΒ street stall to take a bite or a drink, or call upon family and friends freely.Β To me, this loss is far greater than financial loss, because not all types of work can be doneΒ from home, and people need to go out and about to earn their living. π’ Photo: at the Red Sand Dunes of Mui Ne in Vietnam (Sept 2019) #RandomThoughts
