Today is actual 𝐐𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐠 day, also known as Tomb-Sweeping Day, Memorial Day or Chinese All Souls Day. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qingming_Festival My family is opting out this year because my eldest uncle passed away on Christmas Day 2020. He was like the family patriarch, so his position is very high up in the family. Even if we can go, only my brother and I would assume the responsibility, as those above 70 years old are not allowed based on the Movement Control Order Standard Operating Procedure. So, my dad won't be able to perform his duty. My mom hasn't visited the tomb for at least the past ten years. My cousins aren't able to come as they are not allowed to travel out of their state to Ipoh. For the longest time as far as I remember, we have never skipped even once. Family members would ALWAYS take turns and make time for this. Now, we have to skip two years in a row.  Here is a shot of the graveyard of my most recent visit, so it was in 2019. #Malaysia
