This is Malaysia's Royal Museum in Kuala Lumpur. Locally, we call it "Old Istana Negara" because a new one was constructed at another location. Therefore, what was once the official residence of Malaysia’s monarch and head of state, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, has been turned into a museum. I am only able to share a few photos here, but if you are in Kuala Lumpur, you should visit, to see for yourself the opulent lifestyle. The interior is the small audience hall, where the King and Queen once received dignitaries, while the last photo is the waiting room, where ministers sat to wait for their audience with the King.

The inside was really fit for kings and queens. Do you have to pay entrance fee to get inside?
