A poem a day to keep misery away I ain't a lovely poet but am a poet anyway. So aim I could as long as I want to. Aim to write a poem a day, to keep the misery away. Just short ones would do. This isn't traditional poem but DIY, if you get what I mean. When life gets harder to express, we resort to poem and we tell ourselves it is poem, we won't be understood but we want to be understood yet we do not want to be directly chastised for it is poem. I think, that is one beauty of poetry. Lady, go away He isn't coming anyway Put your hair in a bun Tightly as you can No point putting it down He ain't coming To touch the crown And that's it for today. A poet in diet, if that is what you say.
