Hola, amigos. Estoy entusiasmado de compartirles lo que será una nueva manera de crear contenido para uds. A través del formato de podcast. https://youtu.be/6r5GNs_kRU8 Este es un relato que publiqué hace un tiempo en Hive y me complace presentarlo de esta forma, creo que le aporta dimensiones a la historia que pasé por alto cuando lo escribí por primera vez. Aprovechando el contexto de estar preparando mi estudio de grabación por estos días, quise explorar la posibilidad de hacer algo diferente. Why I chose Hive to write my first novel? The day has come. I started writing what will be my first novel. The truth is that I have been cooking this idea for some years and now I feel I am ready to take it on. If you don't know me yet, my name is Dito Ferrer, I am a Cuban writer and filmmaker. **La Comunidad de Los Exiliados** is the name it will have once finished. It is a science fiction novel, set in a futuristic society, and belongs to the **Cyberpunk** subgenre. It tells the story of a policeman who, on the verge of retirement, must solve an unexpected crime. As he unravels the clues, he will come across truths that will change his life forever. *Cyberpunk is a subgenre of science fiction, known for reflecting dystopian visions of the future in which advanced technology is combined with a low standard of living.* *[Source](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ciberpunk?wprov=sfla1)* My novel fits into this genre because of the characteristics of its setting and setting. Here I tell you a little bit: *"After the successful colonization of Mars, mankind began to recreate the major cities there: Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, St. Petersburg, Havana... Cities carbon-copied from the originals but inhabited by a peculiar population: the elderly and cyborgs, since all the young population remained on Earth, in an attempt to avoid overpopulation and increase production."* *In these "asylum cities" everything seems to be at the service of the comfort of its inhabitants, but the reality is that they suffer from intense control by the authorities. In my case, I am inspired by works considered classics within the Cyberpunk genre: the film Blade Runner, by Ridley Scott, which in turn is inspired by the novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick. Also to determine the main themes that these works address and see if they are coherent with those I intend to establish in the novel, in my case: the excessive control of the State, technology, emigration, and exile. Writers are generally classified into two types: gardeners (or compass writers) and architects (or map writers). The gardener is the one who creates his story as he writes it and the architect is the one who plans it first and writes it later. In my particular case, I identify more with the architect. First I draw up a plan or a map of my novel and then I start writing it. The benefits of writing following a map are many, here are some of them: *. You are in control of everything that happens.* *. It forces you to document yourself thoroughly.* *. It forces you to think deeply about EVERYTHING about your book.* *. It gives you more perspective on your work as a whole.* *. It lets you decide what to show and what not to show.* *. It favors verisimilitude and coherence.* *. It facilitates later revisions and corrections.* Writing a novel is a complex exercise and takes a lot of effort to accomplish. You need a system of work that is reliable and that you are comfortable with. In my case, I sought help from one of the gurus of screenwriting: Robert McKee. https://www.amazon.com/-/es/Robert-McKee/dp/8484284468 In this book, McKee explains the "inside-out" writing process used by countless Oscar-, Emmy-, and award-winning screenwriters. I believe that, although it is a method for writing film, if I adapt his system to writing my novel, I can achieve a more finished and impactful work. Besides, this method eliminates the fear of the blank page, the writer's block, and stimulates creativity. In future articles, I will be explaining in detail what it consists of and how I am applying it. I plan to publish it on Hive. I'm going to make it NFT via the Nftshowroon platform https://nftshowroom.com/ It's still too early to decide how many editions will be available, but each will have built-in soundtracks originally composed for the work, as well as all the artwork and graphic design (possibly AI-generated). My Top 10 favorite characters from the Song of Ice and Fire saga. The world of Ice and Fire is a vast universe full of wonderful and well-crafted settings. It is also full of fascinating characters and a plot that never stops growing and evolving. After reading George R.R Martin's incredible A Song of Ice and Fire saga for the third time, I couldn't help but share what are my 10 favorite characters. This list corresponds only to the first two books: Game of Thrones and Clash of Kings. On another occasion, I will share my Top 10 of the rest of the books as I progress in their reading. With you, my **Top 10 of A Song of Ice and Fire.** Enjoy! (drum roll🥁) **10-Littlefinger:** The charming traitor. Thanks to him I understood how complex this world of Ice and Fire is, the endless intrigues and the morals of those in power. A profound connoisseur of the Game of Thrones, Littlefinger outshines many important lords with his shrewdness. It would be interesting to imagine all that he would have achieved had he been born under an important surname. Despite his endless thirst for power, the character shows signs of humanity, his repressed love for Catelyn, which he later transfers to Sansa, allows us to dream of the image of what would have been a different man if he had found love at the time. I found the treatment accorded him in the final season of the TV series frivolous and disappointing. This great character deserved a better ending. Let's wait, then, for the fates that history has in store for her in the next books. I would love to read a few chapters from his perspective. I don't know if Martin plans to do so (there is still time). **9-Samuel Tarly:** This character is one of the characters that experience the most growth as the story progresses. Again Martin shows off his mastery in creating *"secondary characters."* Samuel has his own story, his path. A brilliant young man but a victim of being born in an overly brutal era, where physical strength and prowess with weapons defined the destiny of men. Sam is constantly tormented for not living up to the requirements of the time, in what could be called a case of medieval bullying. It is worth reflecting on the fate that was conferred on those boys who did not meet the established standards. They usually ended up in monasteries (if they were fortunate enough to afford one) or were relegated to menial tasks. Forever fingered and discarded. Our Samuel suffers from that but does so without losing the candor that characterizes him and which is his superpower. At the same time thanks to his character, we can enjoy more of Jon Snow's growth. This duo and all the adventures they face, are delightful to read. **8-Robb:** The Young Wolf is the personification of the young medieval prince. On his shoulders weighs the heaviest burden for he is the figure of the North. He has all the characteristics of the princes we are used to reading about in the fantasy genre; good horseman, skilled with weapons, brave. However, I love how Martin didn't make him an empty shell, instead, he gave us a 15-year-old teenager, loving of his siblings, attentive to his mother's advice, and forced to leave childhood to fight a brutal war. I won't fast-forward Robb's ending so as not to make spoilers, but with this kind of denouement, Martin tells us that he is playing for keeps and that no one is safe. **7-Davos:** The Onion Knight for me is a pleasure to read. Thanks to his chapters the game opens up and we can get to know Dragonstone and its impetuous storms. We can also know closely **Stannis Baratheon**, this cold and inflexible lord, but the best King that Westeros could have *(and the rightful heir, in my opinion, 😁).* Davos is a man of low birth, without titles but with a sense of honor greater than many of the knights of the Kingsguard. Thanks to his character we learn how humble people see battles for the realm, betting everything they have on the lord they have been given to serve. Being an experienced sailors, we can travel with him to the seas and rivers of Westeros and learn more about that world. But Davos is not just a servant and a sailor, Martin shows us a father and a friend and... There are still Davos for quite a while. **The Battle of the Blackwater** begins from Davos' perspective in what, for me, is the best-narrated chapter in that book. **6-Bran:** I sometimes confuse Bran's path with Frodo's avatars in **LOTR**. I feel much more like I'm in a fantasy world reading his chapters, and this is a good thing. The fact that Martin cripples the character that begins the saga, a charming and real boy, ensured that I couldn't remain impartial to anything that happens to him. Moreover, thanks to Bran and his plot we can look back and learn from the history of Westeros and marvel at its greatness. There are many vicissitudes that this boy goes through with the small company he gathers *(more similarities with LOTR)*, but his determination to find the object of his mission and those magical abilities that only this Stark possesses, make us trust that he will succeed. Bran's chapters are addictive and if Martin started his saga for him, it must be for a reason. Also because of Bran, we enjoy **Hodor**, the good and faithful giant, a delightful character to read. **5-Daenerys:** **The Mother of Dragons, Misa, the Dragon's Blood, Daenerys, Dany.** I don't think it's coincidental that we can identify her with so many names because she is all of them. A character destined for greatness, to regain the glory of her house, but at the same time to break the wheel and do things differently. I think that's why she's the most popular character in the TV series *(and also because of Amelia Clarke's naked little body ooohh😍)* At first I was lazy to get into her chapters and was even tempted to skip her but as the plot progressed she started to grow and grow. She is the girl you can fall in love with, also the queen you would follow to the end and the enemy you would want to eliminate first before anyone else. She has it all. I love the morbid curiosity she arouses in all the wretches who notice her, no one seems to be indifferent to this girl with violet eyes and golden hair. Daenerys has in her arsenal the equivalent of a weapon of mass destruction and, with such power, it remains to be seen what she will do with it. Without spoilers, there is still much to read about Dany. **4-Jon:** The main protagonist of many. Together with Daenerys, they make the Ice and Fire. The bastard of the Starks goes through a real Odyssey North of the Wall, which allows him to grow and gain relevance, honoring his royal blood. For me, Jon is the hero, the classic hero and his plot supports that he looks good. But he is much more than that, he is a brooding boy eager to show his worth. He is the most Stark of the Starks, due to his temperament and his stoicism, he also has the coolest dire wolf (Ghost). His brothers love them, *(except for stupid Sansa, of course)🤬.* From Jon's plot, we see the real danger they face in Westeros: **The Others.** Even though they are just zombies in a medieval world to me they are very scary and Jon is tailor-made for that challenge. I would have liked to have seen him escape the Wall to help Robb but for Jon, it's all moral code and such nonsense. I heard they are preparing a new TV series focused entirely on Jon 😲. ______________ **And now, the Top 3** (more drum roll🥁😁) ______________ **3-Arya:** This one is a CHAMPION, it kept me on the edge of the page from the beginning. Arya's adventures are very interesting and could well take up a book just for her. We are constantly worried about what might happen to her and are surprised by the ways she resolves each conflict. This character grows, transforms, and emerges stronger from every setback. From being a fearless, spoiled little girl to have to go through everything she has been through and will be through... A girl in a brutal medieval world, she is the one who has had to face it all alone, with no knighthood, no sworn brothers, no Three-Eyed Raven. Only her wits and her unwavering desire for revenge. I love how in times of crisis she repeats her vengeful mantra. Brutal. It is a character that redeems the figure of the woman because the fate of the girls was just to find a good husband and beget offspring. With Arya, we see the warrior woman, a true Amazon. Martin constantly refers to Princess Nymeria, with whom Arya feels identified. This is an interesting detail as she could become that kind of heroine. Thanks to the fact that Arya spends her time traveling we get to know Westeros and many of the main houses. Reading her chapters is an opportunity to get to know better this wonderful universe and all its inner workings. Since they plan to make Jon's TV series, they should also make Arya's, it would be much more interesting🤔. **2-Catelyn:** Catelyn is the **Mariana Grajales** of this world. *(Mariana Grajales is a Cuban heroine characterized by the firmness with which she encouraged her children to battle)* A character with many nuances, very human. On the one hand, the wife of a great lord knows her duty; she did not marry for love, she married for duty and learned to love Ned because she loves her duty. On the other hand a heroic mother; was constantly forced to choose which children she would part with, and whom to lose. And at the same time a flawed human being, full of fears. I love the contempt she feels for Jon, he is the son of her husband with another woman, and it could not be otherwise. Here Martin shows us a person of flesh and blood, insecure about the future of their children, Jon is a bastard but in him, more than in anyone else, seems to shine the personality of the Starks, that's why Catelyn does not tolerate his presence. A tough woman, and strategist, thanks to her we learn the ways of war and the need to make alliances and how to keep them, what to sacrifice, that nothing is free, and most people betray and will betray you. With Catelyn, it is all part of the Game of Thrones and the chess involved. Lastly, I see Catelyn as a pivot character to appreciate others, Catelyn makes characters like Robb shine because she loves him. Jaime because she hates him and Jon because she despises him. After Bran, the second chapter starts with Catelyn and I think Martin does this for a reason. Without a doubt, she deserves this place of honor on this list. **1-Tyrion:** Martin always said this was his favorite, the one he enjoyed writing the most, the one that says things he would have liked to say. Without a doubt, the witty way he gets out of trouble makes you fall in love with him immediately. **The Gnome** is the most brilliant character of this whole saga, he compensates for his "disability" with an intelligence sweetened with an extraordinary sarcasm and temper. His chapters started a little later but as soon as he entered the scene he stole my attention. Here Martin shows his mastery to spin situations, and surprises and makes us want to turn the page again and again. If Jon is the classic hero, Tyrion is the real hero. The person who doubts, envies, swindles, and has his moral flaws. Nothing is black and white with this character, everything has a cost, a consequence. At the same time, his story is full of frustration, lovelessness, and selfishness. He just wants to be loved and respected and to get that he is willing to be ruthless and hateful. With Tyrion, we also see the discriminatory treatment suffered by those people of different appearances and how difficult it was for them to integrate. He must armor himself with a breastplate to protect his true feelings. For me, Tyrion is the best Lannister, the best son of his father, the best strategist, and the one who plays the Game of Thrones best. A few more inches taller and nothing would have denied him the glory and recognition he so desperately seeks. Halla Tyrion! ¿Eres Músico o una especie de Informático? Esta es una pregunta recurrente, que me han hecho demasiadas veces ya a lo largo de mi carrera. Lo curioso es que muchas veces no he tenido respuesta para ella. Hasta ahora. Esta publicación nace a partir de un hilo que publiqué en Twitter donde toco aspectos relacionados con la composición musical utilizando medios digitales. Es que, para ser sinceros, a veces no me he sentido parte del gremio, tanto por no ser capaz de tocar un instrumento con fluidez, o no dominar el lenguaje musical (Solfeo) Estas limitantes me han traído más de una desavenencia y malentendidos con mis colegas. Esto ha conseguido afectar mi autoestima y he llegado a cuestionarme mi identidad. ¿Realmente merezco pertenecer al selecto club de los llamados "músicos"? ¿No sería más apropiado llamarme "técnico" o algo así? ¿Acaso la tecnología me impide llegar a ser el músico que quiero ser? Falso. Falso. Falso. El mundo avanza y los continuos cambios han creado toda una serie de nuevas profesiones. Esto ha permitido colocar en el sector a personas valiosas y con ganas de aportar con su talento. Lo que hace algunos años parecía imposible, hoy es parte de nuestra cotidianidad. Lo mismo sucede con la música. La forma en que se ejecuta ahora dista mucho de la manera en que se hacía en períodos más primitivos. La música debía pensarse, escribirse e interpretarse, una y otra vez siempre que quería ser escuchada. Esta repetición dotaba de maestría a aquellos músicos capaces(y privilegiados) de hacerlo. Al mismo tiempo segregaba a la población, debido a que no todos los ciudadanos podían tener acceso a ella. Generalmente la "buena música" era territorio de las cortes o los círculos de poder. Una vez que se fueron inventando los medios para grabar la música e inmortizarla utilizando dispositivos el juego cambió. Ya era posible guardarla para después, distribuirla, venderla. Entonces aparecieron toda una serie de profesionales para cumplir con todas estas actividades. No sólo eso, también los mismos músicos cambiaron las maneras de hacer. Surgieron nuevas técnicas y géneros, incluso basados en el manejo de ciertos aparatos. Si hacemos resucitar a Mozart o a Bethoveen probablemente cuestionarían el calificativo de músico de nuestras estrellas actuales. No entenderían la posibilidad del overdub, repetir hasta alcanzar la toma perfecta, y mucho menos la necesidad de afinar una voz o un instrumento. Regresarían a sus tumbas molestos y decepcionados por el deterioro de lo que ellos llamaban música, ahora interpretada por toda esta gente informática y sus juguetes técnicos. Detengámonos aquí. Para ellos seríamos técnicos e informáticos. Gente sin talento que solo usa la tecnología para pretender que hacen arte. Darles la razón implicaría aceptar que el desarrollo tecnológico nos ha alejado de la esencia y que todos somos unos farsantes en relación a figuras virtuosas como Mozart o Bethoveen. No es cierto. No es cierto. **La tecnología es una herramienta y un medio para llegar a un fin** No importa lo que nos facilite, o las posibilidades de expresión que desate. El objetivo final es conseguir un resultado artístico. Pueden surgir las más variadas manifestaciones y artistas con enfoques novedosos pero todos trabajarán para conseguir ese efecto sensorial que se experimenta al disfrutar de algo que nos gusta. **Se crean oportunidades para talentos que por falta de oportunidades no habrían podido sacar su arte al mundo** Hoy en día disfrutamos de los clásicos en la historia de la música. Pero, nunca sabremos cuántos otros plebeyos, esclavos o personas pobres hubieran igualado esa capacidad. Si tan solo hubieran tenido la oportunidad de ponerse en una posición similar, el mundo contaría con muchos más estilos, tendencias y géneros. Hoy en día tenemos las posibilidades. A lo mejor no se siente como el mejor período en la historia para lanzarse a hacer música... Pero lo es. Estamos en la era dorada de la creación y cualquiera puede sentarse, ahora mismo, y componer la próxima 9na sinfonía. El problema está dado en que... **El ser humano siempre será analógico, así que el resultado deberá aplicar a estas características** Mientras dominemos este mundo (y no las máquinas de la Matrix) lo que se cree deberá consumirse en tiempo real. Tengo un profesor que siempre suele decir **el ser humano es analógico.** Por lo que debe detenerse a escuchar, ver, sentir. Nuestra fisiología no ha cambiado, los mecanismos que nos hacen emocionarnos son los mismos. Para tocar la fibra humana deben recorrerse los mismos caminos de siempre. Una obra, (dígase música, cine, artes plásticas, danza) por muy digital que sean los medios que se emplearon en su creación, debe traspasar el umbral de lo virtual y enfrentarse a la subjetividad humana. Debe gustar, emocionar, molestar, comunicar. No hay atajos para este proceso. Si lo consigue, será llamada Arte. Y tendrán razón en hacerlo. Entonces, no por estar encerrado en tu cuarto con solo tu laptop, o tu celular, estás haciendo menos. ¿Te gusta lo que estás haciendo? ¿Te produce felicidad? Bien por ti. To be Healthy (even when you are sick) Life is a journey. A constant coming and going of experiences and adventures. Each step is a challenge, a conquest. And we must prepare ourselves to receive the rewards that life gives us by being in the best possible condition. Everything we achieve in our lives, everything we are going to do, we can only enjoy **if we are healthy.** *But I have iron health, and I never get sick.* *I on the other hand have very little health, I move from one illness to another.* You are wrong. To be healthy goes beyond the physical body. It is a state of joy, hope, of good vibes. Being healthy does not necessarily mean not suffering from any disease. We can have the health of a bull but not feel healthy. In the same way, suffering from any ailment and feeling the exuberance and passion of life. We can train ourselves to be healthy every day, even though we may not feel so well physically. **We are healthy when we are thinking positive thoughts, even if reality is crap.** No matter the situation, you can always squeeze the good side out of it, the benefit. **We are healthy when we communicate openly.** More than 90% of discussions are due to a lack of communication. It is not for nothing that it is called "misunderstanding". **We are healthy when we understand that everything has its moment,** that complaining does not bring any value and that action is the mother of management. **We are healthy when we recover fantasy and laughter.** When we play every day, even with the most serious things. **We are healthy when we "do good and don't look at whom".** Even in the most scarce conditions, we will always have enough love to give, and, the more we give... **We are healthy when we commit ourselves to living in peace.** Not in immobility or laziness, but in the intensity and joy of doing. Haciendo Arte con escasos recursos (solo con un celular) | Dito Ferrer Es perfectamente posible hacer arte con recursos limitados. Este es el análisis de un vídeo clip que nos ha dado muchas alegrías, que ya ha alcanzado miles de reproducciones en Facebook. Y que además hice solo con el celular. La creación de contenido puede ser intimidante. Hay que conocer un poco de todo: edición de vídeo y audio, fotografía, además estar familiarizado con todos los formatos diferentes que soporta cada plataforma. Esto se hace especialmente complejo cuando lo hacemos con bajos recursos. En este artículo no solo voy a explicar los procedimientos y las técnicas que utilicé para la creación de este proyecto, también voy a penetrar en el ADN de la canción y averiguar por qué funciona, por qué incita tanto al baile. También es una oportunidad para demostrar todo lo que podemos hacer solo con un celular. La realización de este proyecto llevó del esfuerzo de solo dos personas, quien les escribe y Odalis Valle, la compositora de la canción. No fue un proceso sencillo, tuvimos que intentar muchas veces, todo se hizo a golpe de "prueba y error" pero los resultados llenaron nuestras expectativas. Pero vamos a adentrarnos en sus diferentes elementos para ir develando la magia detrás de **Flauta con Clave** **EL RITMO** Esta canción la hicimos en medio de la pandemia. Las condiciones de aislamiento nos impidieron grabar en estudio por lo que su composición fue minimalista. Tanto en el arte como en la vida, mientras menos mejor así que los pocos elementos que tenía la canción realmente debían jugar su papel. El primer elemento de la canción es la flauta, que está haciendo una secuencia estable que se repite a lo largo del tema, lo que normalmente haría un bajo, esto se conoce como bajo continuo o bajo obstinato. ***Bajo obstinato: técnica de composición consistente en una sucesión de compases con una secuencia de notas de las que una o varias se repiten exactamente en cada compás. De ahí su nombre en italiano, que significa obstinamiento, empeño en repetir lo mismo."*** ***Wikipedia*** El otro elemento son las palmas. La combinación de estos dos elementos da como resultado una síncopa, un ritmo sincopado. La síncopa está presente en todos nuestros géneros cubanos, es lo que nos caracteriza y le otorga eso a lo que le llamamos SABOR ***Síncopa: es la estrategia compositiva destinada a romper la regularidad del ritmo, por medio de la acentuación de una nota en un lugar débil o semifuerte de un compás."*** Su propia autora nos explica acerca de la creación del ritmo de la canción: ***Flauta con Clave es un resumen acerca de la unión del ritmo con la melodía tratadas como polirritmia, dando un sabroso producto donde cada nota también necesita ser percutida, y ahí está el resultado sonoro. También los silencios dan color y organicidad."*** **Odalis Valle** **GRABACIÓN Y MEZCLA** Las voces casi siempre son el elemento fundamental de una canción y su grabación un proceso al que hay que dedicarle tiempo y dedicación. Se debe grabar con el mejor micrófono posible, pero en nuestro caso utilizamos el del celular y grabamos dentro del clóset de mi cuarto, a modo de cabina. Lo cierto es que lo más importante no es la calidad del equipo, sino el ambiente que logres para sacarle al artista su máximo potencial, además de una estrategia de mezcla clara y definida. Ahora, existen muchos programas profesionales para trabajar el sonido pero, con un poco de creatividad y conocimiento, podemos tener excelentes resultados. El Kinemaster es una app para editar vídeo pero las herramientas de sonido que trae incorporadas son muy buenas. Podemos cargar una foto a modo de background e ir añadiendo los archivos de audio. Su interfaz sencilla y su potente motor de audio nos permiten cargar varias pistas a la vez. **DISEÑO ESCENOGRÁFICO** Este tiempo de aislamiento social me permitió ver las posibilidades de mi habitación como set creativo. Resulta increíble todo lo que podemos hacer cuando somos conscientes de lo que tenemos a nuestro alrededor. Básicamente la escenografía del vídeo se componía de una serie de paneles de colores que se intercambiaban al ritmo de la música brindándole dinamismo al vídeo. **CONCLUSIONES** La creación de una obra artística jamás ha estado tan cerca del alcance de todos. La tecnología nos brinda una serie de posibilidades para que nuestro artista interno se desencadene. Tenemos todas las herramientas a nuestra disposición para crear y luego compartir con el mundo instantáneamente. Nunca debemos detenernos por tener pocos recursos. Debemos mirar a nuestro alrededor y descubrir todo lo que podemos hacer con lo que sea que esté a nuestro alcance. La Comunidad de los Exiliados (Relato) | Dito Ferrer ¿Qué sucederá el día en que los robots que hemos construido para servirnos adquieran una conciencia? ¿Buscarán la libertad? *01001101*...El robot recibía instrucciones mientras clasificaba la basura. Un flujo indetenible de código binario lo hacía moverse de aquí para allá. Recoger, dividir, etiquetar, triturar, repetir... Último ejemplar del modelo A-S.L.A.V.E, descontinuado de la producción por la presencia de un malware que interrumpía a intervalos el grado de eficacia y operatibilidad. Se movía entre grandes formaciones de desechos. Residuos que, procedentes de diferentes lugares del orbe, habían creado verdaderos accidentes artificiales. Montañas, valles, acantilados y lagos radioactivos que, sobre una extensión de cientos de millas, trastocaban la geografía de un ominoso país tercermundista. El tiempo parecía dilatarse entre ciclos interminables de luz y oscuridad mientras su panel de control procesaba una orden tras otra. Lo hacía solo al 99℅, el 1℅ restante se iba sedimentando en una serie de metadatos que el malware, a su vez, codificaba en palabras carentes de significado: *"ausencia",* *"rebaño"*, *"mar"*. La anomalía lo hacía detenerse a ratos, sin motivo aparente, y siempre quedaba de cara al este. Un ejemplar de mejores prestaciones hubiese sido retirado del servicio automáticamente. Pero, al tratarse de una máquina defectuosa, su conducta era tolerada. No se esperaba mucho de él. De este modo, cada día y de manera imperceptible, se desviaba en su recorrido unos centímetros más hacia la derecha. Al cabo de algunos años había conseguido desplazarse hasta la periferia de aquella ciudad de chatarra. El algoritmo en esa zona le llegaba débil, inconexo. Sus sensores detectaron la circulación de aire fresco y la niebla vespertina se condensó en pequeñas gotas sobre su chasis. Una señal de calor le indicó que hacia el horizonte emergía una enorme fuente de energía y luz. Se detuvo, como le sucedía a veces. Pero esta vez era diferente. A su espalda, los chasquidos de la maquinaria sobre los despojos de la civilización. Por delante, lo desconocido. Avanzó. Tras varias millas de suelo árido y siempre guiado por la fuente de energía se detuvo sobre un terreno arenoso. Detectaba ante él grandes cantidades de hidrógeno y oxígeno. Los metadatos se codificaron en una nueva palabra: *"comunidad"*. No estaba solo. Otros ejemplares, tan defectuosos como él, se apiñaban frente al mar. El hábito de crear contenido | Dito Ferrer Seguro que ya estás en esa etapa donde te preguntas si te alcanzarán las fuerzas para seguir publicando con la frecuencia en que lo haces. ¿Llegaste hasta ese punto donde dudas sobre tu capacidad o incluso tu deseo de hacerlo? Quédate conmigo, te voy a ayudar superar esta barrera. En cualquier plataforma el flujo de información es brutal. Cada día, cada hora, cada minuto nuevas publicaciones aparecen en nuestro feed. Para construir nuestra Marca Personal debemos hacernos visibles con contenido fresco y original y para poder competir con otros por la atención del consumidor debemos publicar frecuentemente. Nuestras primeras publicaciones pudiera decirse que son las más fáciles, atendiendo a que tenemos muchas cosas acumuladas en la cabeza y la oportunidad de desahogarse es liberadora. Pero, a medida que se va agotando la inspiración, es cuando los problemas empiezan. "debo publicar (x) veces esta semana" "pero los post tienen que ser de calidad, de lo contrario no me van a votar" "para hacer post de calidad necesito dedicarle más tiempo" "pero si le dedico más tiempo entonces no voy a poder publicar tantas veces" Claro, siempre puedes echarte hacia atrás y relajarte un poco, al final, nadie te está poniendo una pistola en la sien. No es para tanto. Pero, para los que estamos comprometidos con hacer de la escritura una fuente importante de nuestro sustento es una cosa diferente. Representa un desafío, una responsabilidad. No podemos darnos el lujo de quedar por debajo de nuestras expectativas. Pero entonces viene la presión y los bloqueos creativos, y las justificaciones para no sentarnos a trabajar. Pero no todo tiene que ser una lucha. Puedes convertir el proceso en algo tan sencillo y natural como acordonarte los zapatos. Los seres humanos estamos llenos de hábitos. Rutinas que repetimos diariamente y muchas veces de manera automática. Acciones que forman parte de nuestra cotidianidad y le dan sentido a quienes somos. Lo curioso de los hábitos es que no consumen recursos de nuestra atención, no necesitamos pensar en ellos para ejecutarlos. Cepillarse los dientes, encender el televisor. Son todas acciones establecidas a fuerza de repetición y que se ejecutan con independencia de nuestra conciencia. Pero estos hábitos no se hicieron automáticos de la noche a la mañana. Primero fue preciso **aprenderlos**. Ahora los hacemos sin resistencia pero al principio debimos trabajar para establecerlos. Pero lo conseguimos, lo cierto es que podemos trabajar para crear nuevos hábitos. Realmente podemos establecer el hábito que queramos. "...las pequeñas mejoras del 1% son hechos apenas perceptibles. Pero a la larga pueden ser mucho más significativas. La diferencia que las pequeñas mejoras pueden provocar es realmente sorprendente. La matemática de las pequeñas mejoras funciona de la siguiente manera: si logras ser 1% mejor cada día durante un año, terminarás siendo 37 veces mejor al final del período.12 Por el contrario, si deterioras tu conducta 1% cada día, al final de un año habrás llegado casi a cero. Lo que empieza como una pequeña ganancia o una pérdida insignificante, se acumula con el tiempo y se convierte en algo grande." Cada gran resultado se compone de muchas acciones más pequeñas. Cada una por sí sola no significa mucho, pero la suma de todas ellas provoca un cambio trascendental. Lo cierto es que en realidad no suman, multiplican, cada acción se realiza aprovechando el impulso de la del día anterior y ambas impulsan a la del siguiente día. Crear contenido no es más que una rutina. Una serie de acciones que se combinan y que repetimos cada vez para crear el contenido que compartimos. No es más que una serie de acciones muy concretas: **investigar, organizar, crear, publicar y medir.** Ahora, ¿podemos disponer estas acciones para que conformen una rutina, algo tan enraizado en nuestra conducta que nos decidamos a hacerlo sin ya siquiera pensarlo? ¿Podemos lograr que el proceso de la creación de contenido se conviertan en una serie de acciones automáticas tan inconscientes como cepillarse los dientes en la mañana? Claro que sí podemos, solo necesitamos convertir la creación de contenido en un **Hábito.** **Hacerlo obvio** Esto lo puedes hacer de muchas formas, la clave está en tener señales a tu alrededor que te impidan pasar por alto la tarea que tienes que hacer. Si necesitas revisar cierta documentación o sentarte a editar un video, pon una alarma en el celular. Existen muchas aplicaciones que nos facilitan esto. Que sea con una música estridente, algo que te haga saltar. Otra cosa que puedes hacer: crea carteles, notas, pegatinas en tu habitación. Olvídate un poco de la estética, quiero que cuando te levantes en la mañana lo primero que veas son aquellas cosas que necesitas hacer. Guárdate una nota en el bolsillo, pégala al refrigerador, lo que quieras. Solo consigue que lo que la tarea que pretendes hacer sea imposible de ignorar. **Hacerlo atractivo** Los seres humanos, como cualquier animal reaccionamos a los estímulos. Mientras más intenso y satisfactorio el estímulo, mucho mejor. Tenemos la tendencia a comer determinados tipos de comida porque su sabor nos deja una sensación agradable, nos volvemos adictos a determinadas conductas que desencadenan en nosotros excitación, intensidad. Todas estas actividades incrementan la cantidad de dopamina de nuestro sistema, llevándonos a querer repetirla una y otra vez. Digamos que te gusta comerte un pedazo de pastel todas las mañanas, nada exagerado, no queremos que te enfermes de obesidad, pero siempre tienes preparado tu pedazo de pastel, te lo comes y ahh! Delicioso, ya puedes comenzar tu día. Pero también sabes que todos los días necesitas escribir un poco para tu blog. Entonces lo que haces es levantarte y ponerte a escribir inmediatamente, cuando termines cómete el pastel, esa es tu recompensa. Es la anticipación de la recompensa —no su obtención— lo que hace que nos pongamos en acción. La gente falla la mayoría de las veces cuando eliminan aquello que quieren hacer y solo dejan lo que necesitan. Así solo estamos creando resistencia en nosotros mismos privándonos de algo que queremos hacer. No luches contra tus instintos, en cambio, aprende como utilizarlos a tu favor. Hazlo atractivo para ti. **Hacerlo sencillo** La tercera es hacerlo sencillo. Por muy obvia y atractiva que sea la tarea si para cumplirla debes hacer muchos procesos largos y complejos se creará una resistencia. La mente se defiende ante operaciones que le son demasiado complejas. Hay que preparar el terreno de la mejor manera. Lo haces sencillo focalizando tu esfuerzo, haciendo una cosa a la vez y poniendo toda tu energía en ello. Otra cosa para hacerlo sencillo es organizar tu espacio de trabajo. Es muy difícil entrar en frecuencia con lo que vamos a hacer si antes tenemos que acondicionar el lugar: recoger papeles, sacar punta a los lápices, darle un poquito más de carga al celular. Todas estas cosas nos roban la energía necesaria para crear y para cuándo tenemos todo listo ya estamos un poco cansados o la inspiración se nos fue. A mí me gusta terminar una sesión de trabajo preparando las condiciones para la siguiente. De esta forma no pierdo tiempo ni malgasto mis energías. **Hacerlo satisfactorio** Esta última es bastante interesante. Hacerlo satisfactorio. No solo me refiero a la cantidad de 💰💰 que podamos obtener sino a la satisfacción de haber cumplido con nuestro propósito. Ya saben, esa sensación de bienestar que nos da cuando alcanzamos una meta. Ninguna cantidad de dinero puede darnos eso. Otra forma de hacerlo satisfactorio es celebrar. ¡Sí! No tienes que hacer una fiesta; una palmadita en el hombro, satisfacer algún capricho o tomarnos unas vacaciones de 5 minutos. Puedes mantener un registro de tu progreso diario para recordarte en todo momento lo bien que lo estás haciendo. Si logras cumplir estos cuatro simples pasos te aseguro que vas a empezar a convertir la creación de contenido en una rutina, y mientras vayas repitiendo esa rutina una y otra vez irá desapareciendo, se irá volviendo invisible. Regain your Innocence | Dito Ferrer Kids are sometimes a real pain in the...! Sometimes you feel like tying them to a chair even if they dehydrate themselves to tears. I'm telling you, I was a former teacher, and for 8 years I was locked in a classroom with 20 of them. From 8 am to 4:20 pm, Monday through Friday.Buff!!!😰 But I also have to say, how cute are kids! With that ease, they have to forget about problems. They start crying and within five minutes they've forgotten all about it. Even when they end up in a fight the next day you'll see them playing together again. For children, nothing is that important. The only thing that matters is PLAY. But at what point did the child in us disappear? For many, being mature implies seriousness. A long face to back up the fact that we are being adults, that we are responsible. We have lost the sense of playfulness, of silliness, of just full around for a while. Sometimes our children save us and force us to come down to their level and play with them. Then we smile because we remember when we used to play that way and the world seemed like a magical and unknown place. I tell you something: the world is still a magical and unknown place, it hasn't changed at all. But we have. Take off the "adult" face and relax a little. Re-learn to look at life with the eyes of the little kid for whom no suffering lasted more than five minutes. You will not become an imbecile or irresponsible, quite the contrary. You will find more solutions to your problems because you will look at them with different eyes. I have a degree in Psychology from the University of Havana. I worked as a primary teacher for eight years.
