Good evening, dear friends, let me share an interesting story with you. At the supermarket checkout, the lady asks for a plastic bag to put what she bought. The cashier reproached her that the plastic bag was not environmentally friendly. - Your generation does not understand the environmental movement. Now young people are paying for your generation that destroyed all resources! The lady kindly said to the cashier: - I'm sorry, there was no environmental movement in my time. - Yes, said the cashier, your generation did not care about environmental protection at all Still a little upset, the lady begins the story: - In my time, we returned empty bottles of milk, mineral water, beer and wine to the store, which returned them to the factories, which washed them and poured milk, water, wine, beer into them again. The bottles were recycled, and we didn’t know it was in the spirit of the environmental movement! - In my time, we climbed stairs. There were no movers like today and there were very few elevators. -We did not take a car for a kilometer or two, but we took a bicycle or went on foot. And we didn’t know it was in the spirit of the environmental movement! - We didn't know about disposable diapers: we washed diapers and dried our clothes on a rope stretched between trees or houses. -We didn't know there was a 3000 watt tumble dryer. Our laundry was dried by the sun and wind energy. - We patched clothes that went from child to child, there was no landfill or collection for resale. - We had one radio and one TV (possibly) in the house, not one in each room. The TV had a screen like a pizza box, not like today, a screen the size of Switzerland. - We had a watch for manual winding, and in the kitchen we did everything by hand, not with today's gadgets that eat more electricity than can be produced. - We didn't have electric self-propelled grass trimmers. The old, good hair that needed to be sharpened by hand was quite good! - We worked physically and we didn't have to go to weight loss clubs and run on a conveyor belt that consumes electricity ... - We possibly had one phone in the house, and today every scumbag carries it in his pocket. But, the truth is, we didn't know about the environmental movement ... - We drank water from a tap or from a cistern, from a hand or from a glass, not from a plastic bottle that is in the streets thrown at millions ... - We wrote with ink from the bottle from which we filled the fountain pen, and not with ballpoint pens that are thrown away after use ... - Our men shaved with razors that lasted, not today's razors that are thrown away after each use, But, the truth is, we didn't know about the environmental movement ... The photos were taken on the way from the village of Toponice to the Zaova monastery, right next to the memorial fountain for those killed in the People's Liberation Struggle ...

A good story for us who are left on earth thinking older people has no care for the environment. Let us put this in mind and live from there.
Wow, how beautiful this story and this post really is, how much life has changed despite the development and technological progress that has achieved prosperity, but unfortunately we still harm the environment and ourselves with wrong behaviors, I envy those people who lived in that old time
