Fishing logbook date: 03. May 2022. Location: Lake Borkovac Fishermen: my little one Today I was at my favorite place on Lake Borkovac. The day was wonderful and that's how I felt: WONDERFUL! I tried the depth method and the float. The fish was not very active to take the bait. Of the baits I use earthworms and meat worms. True, I caught four different species of fish: American dwarf catfish (brown bullhead), pumpkinseed, goby, and ruffe. Brown bullhead that we call Regans and I heard from a friend @Romex that they call them Trumans, are a very boring species of fish and when they go it is rare that any other species can be caught because they go for almost every bait. True, they are very tasty and I like to eat them. They are specific because they have two very sharp thorns on the side of the body and a third on the top of the back, and if you are stung it can be very painful and stinging because they have some kind of poison. While they are on the hook, I grab them by the lower lip and cut off the thorns with scissors, and only then do I remove them from the hook. Since they know how to swallow the hook deeply, I pull it out with a special device called a hook release, which you can see in the fourth photo. Pumpkinseed is a species of fish that is also home to America, and it got into our waters by bringing it for the needs of aquaristics, and probably someone threw it into our waters. It can also be annoying but attacks mostly animal bait: worms and earthworms. Goby is also a species that came from the sea and settled in these waters of ours, and it can be boring and fishermen do not like it because it is a small, although in my opinion very tasty fish. I prepare it by cutting off her head and pulling out her belly with head, it is fried like fish sticks. Ruffe is the only species that is native to this area and unfortunately falls under the endangered species and should not be hunted but unfortunately when it comes to bait it swallows the hook deeply and does not survive like the one I caught. It is extremely tasty, as are all species from the perch family. Lokacija: jezero Borkovac Ribolovci: moja malenkost Danas sam bio na mom omiljenom mestu na jezeru Borkovac. Dan je bio predivan i tako sam se ja osećao: PREDIVNO! Pokušao sam na dubinsku metodu i na plovak. Riba baš nije bila aktivna da uzme mamac. Od mamaca sam koristi zemne gliste i mesne crve. Istina uhvatio sam četiri različite vrste riba: Američki patuljasti somovi, sunčanica, balavac(vrsta grgeča) i glavoč. Američki patuljasti somovi koje zovemo Regani a čuo sam od prijatelja @Romexa da ih kod njih zovu Trumani, su veoma dosadna vrsta ribe i kada krenu retko koja druga vrsta može da se uhvati jer idu skoro na svaki mamac. Istina veoma su ukusna vrsta i volim ih jesti. Specifični su jer na telu sa strane imaju dve veoma oštre bodlje i treću na vrhu ledja te ako vas ubodu može da bude veoma bolno i da peče jer imaju neku vrstu otrova. Ja ih dok su na udici hvatam za donju usnu i makazama odsecam bodlje pa tek onda skidam sa udice. Pošto umeju duboko da progutaju udicu istu izvlačim specijalno spravom koja se zove odpinjač udice koju možete videti na četvrtoj fotki. Sunčanica je vrsta ribe kojoj je takodje postojbina Amerika i u naše vode je dospela tako što su je donosili za potrebe akvaristike te je verovatno neko ubacio kod nas u vode. Takodje ume da bude dosadna ali napada uglavnom životinjski mamac: crve i zemne gliste. Glavoč je takodje vrsta koja je došla iz mora i naselila se u ove naše vode te ume da bude dosadna a ne vole je ribolovci pošto je mala, mada po meni veoma ukusna riba. Ja je pripremam tako što joj odsečem glavu i sa glavom izvučem utrobu, pržena je poput ribljih štapića. Balavac je jedina vrsta koja je domaća na ovom prostoru i nažalost podpada pod ugroženu vrstu i ne bi trebala da se lovi ali nažalost kada dodje na mamac duboko proguta udicu te ne preživi kao i ova koju sam ja ulovio. Izuzetno je ukusna kao i sve vrste iz porodice grgeča. (foto 2)
