Today, many in my country celebrate Easter. I am an atheist, but I like everything about this celebration. After all, I grew up with it and I grew up in a family that respects customs. That day the children were beating colored eggs and it was merry because Jesus ’resurrection was being celebrated. As part of that day, I am transmitting a song by my FB friend Dušan Živančević, which I wrote on a picture of my FB friend Žika Pevalčin. It’s called painted poetry which I occasionally pursue out of enjoyment and love of poetry. There are two versions of this song in the pictures: one in Cyrillic and the other in Latin. Here's an attempt to translate the song using Google Translate: EASTER Let him be resurrected on Easter In a bird a hoarse song In the plant a withered flower In man love In children joy and laughter Let it be on Easter Song, flower, love and laughter win They lose battle, curse, hatred, and sin Let him be resurrected on Easter The light of the human mind Prayer and faith in Christ Forgiveness and the power of reason And the cradle to shine Let it be on Easter Mind, faith, forgiveness and the cradle of victory In man - monster Easter 20.
