You wonder what these leaves are in jars. These are the leaves of a ripe cherry from which we made a liqueur. We jokingly called it the Amaro leaf. Note: the leaves are picked when the cherries are ripe! INGREDIENTS: - 1l of red wine - 100 cherry leaves - 600 g of sugar MAKING: Mix the wine with the sugar until the sugar dissolves. Wash and dry the cherry leaves. Put them in a large jar and pour over the prepared wine. Cover the jar with a saucer or gauze and leave in a sunny place for 40 days. Stir the contents a little every day. After 40 days, strain the liqueur and pour into bottles…
