I will share with you photos from one trip to the end of Lake Borkovac where the mill is located. In the Srem village of Rivici in the municipality of Ruma, there is one of the oldest mills in Serbia and the only one in Vojvodina that dates from 1763. Hidden in the area of Jazavac near Borkovački potok, on the terrain where the Srem plain waves into the slopes of Fruška Gora, the mill in Rivica is a gift of man and nature. Its wheel has not been heard for a long time, because the last millers, grandfather Đura and his wife Klara, stopped grinding grain more than three decades ago. ********************************************************************************************** Dobro veče dragi prijatelji! Podeliću sa vama fotke sa jednog izleta na kraj jezera Borkovac gde se nalazi vodenica. U sremskom selu Rivici u opštini Ruma, nalazi se jedna od najstarijih vodenica u Srbiji i jedina u Vojvodini koja datira iz 1763. godine. Skrivena u ataru Jazavac kod Borkovačkog potoka, na terenu kojim se sremska ravnica talasa u padine Fruške Gore, vodenica u Rivici dar je čoveka i prirode. Njen točak odavno se ne čuje, jer su poslednji vodeničari, deda Đura i njegova žena Klara prestali da melju žito pre više od tri decenije.
