************************************************* *********************************************** My dear friends of the noise! The other day I was passing through a small park in Ruma which is located almost in the center, in fact 100m from the center. Even as a child, this park was interesting to me because of the sculpture that adorns it. It is this monument "Children with a book" that I relied on as a child. The monument "Children with a Book" is the work of sculptor Slavka Pertović Sredović (1907-1978), who is from Rumljanka. As you can see in the pictures, the park is decorated with a beautiful flower garden, there is also a playground for children, and here is a mural dedicated to a young man who lost his life too soon. I will also refer to the news that two parks in Ruma will be named after the scientist Milena Marić Einstein and the Greek officer Marinos Ritsoudis. The park near the Gymnasium in Ruma will be named after Mileva Marić Einstein, and the park near the elementary school "Veljko Dugošević" in Ruma will be named after Marinos Ritsoudis. Many have heard about Milena Marić Einstein, but who is that Greek officer? Marinos Ritsoudis, born on February 18, 1968. year, former captain and lieutenant of the Greek Navy, which is 18.04.1999. suspended NATO aggression for years and refused to bomb FR Yugoslavia. He was 31 at the time. That is why he lost his job in the army and was sentenced to 2 and a half years in prison, even though he had the full support of the people and the captains he was with. He was convicted before nine courts, and his answer to the court reads: "As an Orthodox, I cannot take part in the attack on the fraternal people." Although Greece is a member of NATO, it did not take part in air strikes on the FRY, but sent Marinos' ship to the Adriatic Sea. The crew was disappointed with the government's decision, and instead of leaving Marinos Ritsoudis to bomb FR Yugoslavia, he refused the order and returned his ship back to port. January 23. In 2018, this year he was awarded the Order of the Holy Emperor Constantine in the building of the Patriarchate of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Belgrade. Even after so much suffering and time that he faced in that period, he still speaks about the Serbian people with a lot of love and sympathy and admires the courage of the Serbian people. *********************************************************************************************** Dragi moji prijatelji buke!
