Lake Zaova As I promised the other day while writing about the bench of love, that I would write you something about Lake Zaova. The lake is located 15 km southeast of Pozarevac in the municipality of Malo Crniće. The surface of the lake is about 3 hectares and it is fed from several smaller lakes. In the immediate vicinity is the monastery of the same name Zaova. The depth of the lake near the dam is about 5m and it is surrounded by dense forest. Many species of fish live in the lake: pike, catfish, chub and various white fish. Also there are sunflower fish (in picture 2) They indulged in love ecstasy and without a bench of love because they feel quite good in the water. Every year at the end of August, "Stiško poselo" is organized at this location. Within the manifestation, a competition in the preparation of fish soup, exhibitions of various associations of this region and a cultural and artistic program are organized.
