Good morning dear noise friends! Here is a photo of the monument in Pozarevac. The monument represents Pavle Savić. Let's see who Pavle Savić is. Pavle Savić (Thessaloniki, January 10, 1909 - Belgrade, May 30, 1994) was a Serbian physicist and chemist, who gained world renown when he and Irene Joliot Curie discovered isotopes of known elements in Paris in 1937 and 1938 by bombarding uranium atoms with slow neutrons. This leads Otto Han and Fritz Strassmann to the discovery of nuclear fission-fission of the uranium nucleus. With Irene Joliot, he was nominated for the Nobel Prize, but only Han won it. From 1947 he managed the construction of the Nuclear Institute in Vinca and until 1960 he was the director of the Institute. Pavle Savić is considered to be the first director of the Vinča Institute, which was then called the Boris Kidrič Institute. He was for many years the head of the Department of Physical Chemistry at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Belgrade, today the Faculty of Physical Chemistry. From 1971 to 1981, he was the president of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. The monument, built in 1997 in Požarevac, reads: Pavle Savić 1909-1994 ATOMIC PHYSICIST GRADUATES OF POŽAREVAČKA HIGH SCHOOLS-HONORARY CITIZEN OF POŽAREVAC PRESIDENT OF SERBIA ACADEMY OF SCIENCES - THANKFUL ASSOCIATION OF ENGINEERS I POŽAREVAC TECHNICIAN 1997 ************************************************************************************** Dobro jutro dragi prijatelji buke! To dovodi Ota Hana i Frica Štrasmana do otkrića nuklearne fisije-cepanja uranovog jezgra.

Ukratko rečeno još jedna mudra i veoma pametna Srpska glava.
