So far I have completed all my daily quests up until this one. I am now stuck on the Earth quest and need suggestions on how to complete it. Two cards that help me a lot on Earth Splinter are Wood Nymph and Nectar Queen. Unfortunately, those are not under the basic set, but Wood Nymph is amazing because it heals your tank and uses offensive magic since level 1. For example, Divine Healer from Life Splinter does it until level 3. Nectar Queen is an awesome tank but a good alternative is Unicorn Mustang from the basic set. Don't be afraid to combine Earth with Neutral Splinter cards, that's a mistake I made in the past thinking they wouldn't allow the win. It's perfectly fine!
