Why do most of Filipinos love korean dramas? Some Filipinos enjoy Korean dramas because they love the romantic happily-ever-after stories that serve as a momentary escape from the reality that real-life relationships are more difficult to maintain. The good-looking actors and actresses also serve as ideal partners for them even if their chances of actually marrying Koreans (especially those with really good looks) are slim to none. Koreans do visit the Philippines but most of the time they prefer to marry fellow Koreans. I suppose some Filipinos really want what they can't easily have.
Personally, i'm one of those that really love korean dramas.One of the reason is that it is fun to hear their accent and i'd be able to know several korean words like 'anhyeong, kamsahamnida, saranghaeyo" and most specially 'oppa'. **Korean dramas** bring many emotions to me, it can me cry, laugh, angry, frustrated and happy at the same time. It taught many things that can help me become a better person.It is one of my stress reliever. They offer a refreshing kind of story telling that i do not find in some shows. These are some of my favorite korean dramas. 'Some'because if i would put them all in this article, it will take forever to read them because they are to many to mention. I love Korean dramas simply because their plots and sequence of events are unpredictable unlike most Filipino dramas. When they're suppose to end at episode 16, they end it and just go with the story no matter how people love it. Most Filipino dramas, when loved by people have those unnecessary twists that makes the drama boring. I also like how actors and actresses doesn't have a permanent love teams because it enables people to focus on how good the drama and the story is not on the actors. Several years back (2013-2017), I was huge kdrama addict 😂 At school, I always sit at the back so that professors won't see me watching kdramas. One time I didn't even went to school for about a week just to watch kdramas 😅 P.S.: Scarlet Heart is on my top list too. But you didn't add It's Okay Not To Be Okay on the list, it's one of the best 💕
Haven't watch it yet. But it is highly recommended by my friends. It's next on my list. Korean dramas has this 'kilig factor' that filipino telenovelas don't..And even though they don't have permanent love teams they can still make us 'kilig'hahahaha.

Nah, not my cup of tea. Even the Korean dramas before like Meteor Garden, I didn't like it.
