Setting Time for Daily Devotional Have a great day! Today is a great blessing from the Lord. Being able to wake up and to have time with family. Today, I am going to share to you suggestions for Daily devotional time. So what do you need to prepare for daily devotional time? **Bible -** The Bible contains the truth about the Lord and it is given through the inspiration of God. **2 Timothy 3:16-17** **16** All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: **17** That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. **Devotional Materials** - For most of us, we have devotional materials like the Daily Bread which is printed or can be accessed through online. There are available online resources for Daily Devotional Time, the links below are just few. https://odb.org/US/2021/04/05/anchored https://ourdailybread.org/read/ **Ourselves -** It is important to prepare ourselves for daily devotion, we have to unload all our cares and burdens unto the Lord. One should be ready to be moved by God's word and to have a teachable spirit and heart so that the Lord's work will not be in vain. So how can we be able to make most of our devotional time, here are the suggestions: **Choose regular time and place for your devotion.** You can choose a quite place for devotion, it could be in your room or in your terrace, where you can find solemnity. You should also set the time, most of the people do it when they wake up in the morning or before sleeping at night. Choosing time and place is important because your devotion would be more meaningful if you are concentrating and the time is regularly practiced. **Read the Bible.** The Bible is the very word of God written by His chosen one. As we read the Bible we can build an inner relationship with the Lord and we will learn more about His will for our lives. **Take note of the key verses.** With devotional materials, there are key verses, it is suggested that those key verses will be memorized so that you can also share to others. **Thoughtfully read the articles in your devotional**. The devotionals usually have stories related to the verses. Reflect on it and relate to what the writer is saying to you. This might be the encouragement that you need today. **Write down some lessons learned.** You can write the things that you discovered along the way. You can take note of the facts and the realizations. **Write down your prayer requests and answered prayers.** Having a list of prayer requests gives you a guide of what are the specific things to pray for. It is said that the Lord loves to hear your needs, although He already know it before you say it but He loves to hear us. Having a list of answered prayers, reminds us that the Lord is an answering God, He gives us the best answer we need. **Give time for Prayer**. After reading the Bible, taking note of the key verses, writing down the lessons, prayer request, one of the most important part is our Prayer Time. Talk to the Lord about your discovery about the devotion and let the Lord know about your response, commitment. **Share to Others.** Tell the good news to other people, a person whom you talked to might need encouragement and guidance from the Lord. The Lord's good news is not to be hidden but to be known to others. Conclusion Daily devotion strengthens our relationship with the Lord, we should prepare for it and make it as a regular practice so that we can have discernment with what the Lord wants us to do. We should always be ready for His teachings that we can read through the Bible. We should pray and share to others the blessings that we have for reading His word. ***This account would like to share some devotional articles and some tips on our relationship with the Lord. It is my prayer that I can be a blessing to the one reading this one. I am also accepting prayer requests to be included in my prayer list. Let us pray for each other. Access to the Lord In todays era, we have access to almost everything through technology. We make online shopping, flight bookings, online payments, name all other online access that you can. Thanks to technology! Thanks to the geniuses out there, making inventions everyday. Yes, technology is a blessing, especially now its pandemic, we need not to be present to one place for us to do transactions. Need information about your health concerns, well ask Google and he will give you many links on the information that you need. Need to talk to a friend? Send an email, text through messenger and email services. However, this technology has down times and it is so frustrating. For an instance, you really need to send an email to a friend but you cannot send because the internet is down, or you happen to forget your password, and you are given with access denied to your email, or bank accounts. Sounds very frustrating! But there's one that doesn't need internet connection for it to be accessed. You just need to bow your head and humble to Him in prayer. That is our access to God in prayer. No need of paying monthly subscription, no passwords, no usernames, just your faith that God listens to your prayers. Just your time dedicated to Him in prayer. **Call unto me and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.** **Jeremiah 33:3** This verse gives an assurance that the Lord will be always there, in the time that we need Him. This assures us that He can show us great and mighty things that we did not imagine. With God nothing is impossible. God is always accessible, He hears us and never sleeps all we just have to do is to trust Him. How about today? Have you made an access to the Lord through prayer? Have you told him of you message of thanks, faithfulness and love. He is accessible anywhere, He is waiting, He listens. Todays devotion is about having access to our Lord, due to our busy schedules, many things to do in mind. We might forget to pray and thank the Lord. Yet, it's not yet too late, He is waiting there for you. Just trust him, He gives you full access of everything! While most of the articles here are about cryptocurrencies, BCH, this account is dedicated to share daily devotionals to help in building relationship with the Lord. Building relationship to God is important, but it is not always easy. It would require our determination, communication, patience and trust to Him, as well as time. Through our quiet times, in our prayers, we speak to Him and we will find joy and results of the efforts that we do to glorify Him. The devotionals here are based on Our Daily Bread which is excerpted and adapted for the purpose of sharing. May you find these articles helpful to you as you deepen your relationship with the Lord. It is my prayer that I will be a blessing to you as this article pass by your page. May God bless us all.
