Popular Love Songs ~ My Picks HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! In the USA, Valentine's Day is celebrated every year on February 14th. Valentine's Day is a day that celebrates LOVE, in general (between spouses, boyfriend & girlfriend, parents & children, etc.). But this holiday was originally created to CELEBRATE LOVERS. With that thought in mind, I picked out a few love songs. If I were compiling a #playlist of #lovesongs, these music videos would be on the list. “Love Will Never Do (Without You)” ~ Janet Jackson (https://youtu.be/63zEDkg351c) Some folks may disagree but I happen to think this is one of Janet Jackson's best music videos. “Stand by Me” was first made famous by African-American entertainment Ben E. King (https://youtu.be/dTd2ylacYNU). However, this song was also performed by Shahrukh Khan in the Bollywood movie “Ra One” and I like it even better and he's not even singing in English. LOL. (https://youtu.be/oyVMV-oSgJQ). “I Will Always Love You” (https://youtu.be/3JWTaaS7LdU) from the soundtrack to the movie “The Bodyguard”. I know this song is a Dolly Parton original and they played it so much on air waves that people got sick of hearing it … LOL … but I think there is another song from this movie which is a much better love song. “I am Nothing” (https://youtu.be/FxYw0XPEoKE). Nevertheless, for either song, Whitney Houston performed both of these songs with her incomparable vocals and they are now timeless. “I Believe in You and Me” (https://youtu.be/FQGt6VNm_iQ) from the soundtrack to the movie “The Preacher's Wife”. Not only is this a beautiful song but the setting of winter in the forest for the video is really pretty! Do you have a love song or songs that you really like?
