It does not seem like Noise.App is gaining followers quickly. I know because I check every time I sign in to see who the new members are. It's probably because of the required Invite links. I only give out a link if a person asks. I don't just share an invitation link just because. If our community does not grow we will never be on the level as Twitter. Or perhaps it was never the goal to be like Twitter. (???) What is the main aim of developing a social app like Noise.App. Just thinking out loud. Your thoughts would be appreciated though. Hope y'all are having a beautiful day!

Unfortunately, I also think noise.app lacks appeal. It's just not a fun or user friendly site in my opinion, and I think that's it greatest downfall.
I have only been here a short time, but so far I like the way it works better than any other messaging system I have used except maybe Facebook Messenger because it's so handy.
That's also my observation. I find it complicated to navigate here.
I hope it never gets like Twitter, which is why I terminated my accounts there. It was more of a waste of time than a resource to me.
Given that Twitter is/has lost followers to Mastodon in droves (apparently; I haven't logged in to either in a while), I don't think that's something about which to be concerned. Besides, I like that Noise is small and still mostly civil/supportive. Twitter, by comparison, is a war zone.
Perhaps Noise.App needs to market itself more so people do signup and ask for invite links.
