MICRO-INVESTING #personalfinance #investing Follow up to my post from 8 months ago: https://noise.cash/post/p0z2rwvan76x 8 months is long enough to think about doing something. So! There are lots of micro-investing platforms out there. After looking at the different micro-investing platforms I decided on STASH. I chose this platform for a number of reasons. They are US-based; they been licensed and approved by the appropriate federal agencies; and my research indicated that it's a good investing platform for newbies or beginners. Also, since it said I could get started with as little as $5, I figured … WHY NOT? They offer free investing advice. First you create a profile that tells them what type of investor you are. It turns out I'm “conservative”. Based on that profile they help you pick #stocks, #ETFs, etc. They will help you create what's called a #Smart #portfolio. I clicked the button for help with that and I am pleased with the “mix”. For my portfolio they chose both cryptocurrencies and corporations to invest in. You can do a one-time purchase OR you can set up an automated recurring purchase. I set my automated purchases to $5 biweekly I'm thinking, why waste $5 every 2 weeks eating at a fast food restaurant, when I can invest it. It's too early to say what kind of results of this financial endeavor will yield. But you will never know the success of a move until you make it!
