I love coffee. I “officially” started drinking coffee my first year attending university. Before that, my mom would not let me drink it. She had some strange idea about it stunting my growth ~ physically and mentally. I don't know where she got the idea from. Anyway! Out of respect for my mom, I simply never drank coffee. But I grew up! I had a college work-study job during my freshman year (my first year) at the university. I was working at my desk and one of the employees announced happily: “It's break time!” Then she looked at me and asked “Want to go get some coffee?” The thought suddenly occurred to me: 'I can drink coffee now; and I don't have to ask my mom.'
