WHY SO SMOKY? As I woke this 5am I smelled the smoke in our curtains. I opened the window and I saw fire from the back and the sky so smoky. So after coffee I went here on the left area of our compound. There at the back I saw the caretaker of the land waving at me like saying goodmorning. But it's not good for me. I wore facemask as I went there. They're burning the sugarcane dry leaves and it's almost 6 hectares sugarcane farm. I noticed some neighbors from a far looking at burning area too. It's too dangerous but I know they knew what they're doing. They burned it so that they can plow again and plant a new sugarcane. And about 1 and half hour , they finally finished it and the fire stopped. Well, in my case I go back to the house and stay in my room for a while. I can't stand the smoky thing. It hurts too much on my flat nose and I began sneezing . So, here I am now at the garden still watering my plants but there's some sweet scent of burning sugarcane in the air..I can smell it ..it smells good like burning sugar 😁! Your's, Chikky
