I took a nap, and now I'm awake. I just noticed how noisy we Filipinos are here on the site, the name of noise fits our situation of being active on posting and interacting. Keep it up! Let's make noise together until midnight! Presenting this plant to you, it's not Rambutan fruit but this is a condiment and natural food colouring which grows in a tropical country, they called this Annatto or Atsuete. I usually used this in my kitchen when I'm cooking Sotanghon, Pinatisang Manok, palabok and lugaw. I like the aroma it brings, mild and flavourful. A have a childhood story about this plant. I went to the house of my elementary classmate at lunch. I saw this in their backyard full of red fruits. I rush happily thinking it was a Rambutan. I grab one and eat it, it tastes bitter and full of dry seeds inside, I realise that it is not the fruit I was thinking of. I was so embarrassed and very disappointed. Lesson learned: Tanong-tanong din kase kapag may time. 2:53 pm October 26, 2022 5th post Annato plant
