**People change. For better and for worse.**
People do change, nobody can stop or delay it. If it's their choice, you can't do anything about it. They change for better, and sometimes for worst. Looking to someone who changes his/her self for the better version of them is priceless specially when that person is someone close to you or you love. But, being with someone while they are changing for worse, it will also affect you negatively. You will start to think of ways to stop him/her. You will start to question your worth as a person or as the one closest to them. The main point of this is you cannot stop someone from changing but you can be there with them through hot and cold, through thick and thin, and through bad and good days. People do change and we have to respect that. Situations force people into becoming who they are. But that doesn't mean one should turn out badly because of some situations.
