Yep, you can play for free but you have to do as many quests as you can, which means you have to play the mini games. I would also set the split power to at least 80% on RLT. With RLT you can buy miners which will increase your power.
Also, it's good to check the Network Power which shows you what toke other people are mining. The more people are mining a particular token, the less your share is. And you might want to check Discord to see what block rewards are boosted. For example, DOGE is boosted for this week.

The only thing I would add now is to try and maximize the mini-event by playing your games in such a way as you take advantage of them dropping down in difficulty and you only need to play 1 more game to race it. A strategy I use that is working well is "go where the money was". By that, I man if the money was up top, I continue to drive there until the money appears elsewhere. It is working better for me than the strategy that should be the best. Ride in the middle, this should be the best as it is the shortest amount of lanes to change. Meaning you have more time to react. But the game is by far the biggest of all of them. Sometimes the game does not even spawn enough coins for you to be able to win. Other times it makes it so you have to hit an obstacle, and this can happen 3x in the same game, aka auto loos. There is also a visual bug that can stump people. If you take damage and keep driving the car looks like it did before the damage. The graphics only update when you change lanes. =(

LamboRider is the game I hate the most. 😅 Its design sucks as it sometimes gives you no options but to crash!

😅It gets tougher each level, and sometimes the time is just up...
