Why is it that we use dancing as a measurement of how advanced robots are? Surly there has to be some other sort of measurement we can use. Right?

Happy holidays everyone!! I hope you and you're loved once are having a great time!
Skills or feats of strength that severely would fall short of impressing today's younger generation. The ability to tear a phonebook into two with your hands. Have you got any other such examples?
SEC has officially announced what they are charging SBF with. Defrauding Investors. https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2022-219
Is Binance insolvent as well? I guess it depends on who you ask...
Some more news about our favorite "definitely not don't he run" fugitive Do Kwon. Do Kwon update, he apparently is not on the run in Serbia So definitely do not look for him there, because if we know D "Run, Run" Kwon he is definitely not in Serbia. My guess is he is probably at home coding. https://www.publish0x.com/things-of-note-and-other-interesting-stuff/do-kwon-update-he-apparently-is-not-on-the-run-in-serbia-xxzlker
SBF the former CEO of FTX arrested in the Bahamas One goes to sleep and then wakes up and SBF has been arrested. Still not sure if this is all a dream or not. Arrested in Bahamas According to multiple sources, SBF was arrested on December 12. And this has also been verified by the Bahamian AG office which had the following to say: On 12 December 2022, the Office of the Attorney General of The Bahamas is announcing the arrest by The Royal Bahamas Police Force of Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), former CEO of FTX. SBF’s arrest followed receipt of formal notification from the United States that it has filed criminal charges against SBF and is likely to request his extradition, -the Bahamian AG office As they have indicated, this arrest resulted from criminal charges being filed against SBF in the US. I guess the US either works faster or has a different standard than the Bahamas. As the Bahamian GM vehemently swore in the circle jerk video earlier that they had the best regulations and were actively conducting an investigation. It will be interesting to see what comes of this whole thing. According to reports SBF has hired heavy-hitting attorney Mark Cohen, the defense attorney who represented one of the few people more heinous and even than SBF allegedly is, Ghislaine Maxwell. There were also reports earlier of ex-Alameda CEO Caroline Ellison Stephanie Avakian, an attorney that worked for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). I guess she went for the whole "know thay enemy" thing. It will be interesting to see if these two end up turning on each other during the trails. As I assume they know where the bodies are buried. The charges The charges will apparently be made official later today as the filing will be done in the Southern District of New York. The New York Times speculates in their post that the charges could include wire fraud, securities fraud, money laundering, and related conspiracy charges. And that does neither seem far-fetched nor particularly surprising if you have followed the case. The SEC will however also be filing their separate charges against SBF in the SDNY courts tomorrow as well. We commend our law enforcement partners for securing the arrest of Sam Bankman-Fried on federal criminal charges. The SEC has authorized separate charges relating to his violations of securities laws, to be filed publicly tomorrow in SDNY. -Gurbir Grewalm SEC Official The very last tweet SBF sent out before his arrest was a denial of taking part in a secret chat group on Signal. "*The Australian Financial Review* has learnt that FTX founders Sam Bankman-Fried and Zixiao “Gary” Wang, along with FTX engineer Nishad Singh and former Alameda Research chief executive Caroline Ellison, used a chat group on Signal in the hope that the information would remain hidden". If it will play, or any part, in the court proceeding we just have to wait and see. But despite the name of the group. It appears it had a wider porous than simply being dedicated to wire fraud. All in all the person most disappointed by SBF´s arrest, well other than presumably himself. Seems to be Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA), Chairwoman of the House Financial Services Committee. The public has been waiting eagerly to get these answers under oath before Congress, and the timing of this arrest denies the public this opportunity. While I am disappointed that we will not be able to hear from Mr. Bankman-Fried tomorrow, we remain committed to getting to the bottom of what happened, -Maxine Waters Yea, because all those previous hearing always get to the heart of the issue. Do Kwon update, he apparently is not on the run in Serbia Do Kwon probably has been thanking his lucky star for all this FTX and SBF business that has seemingly taken the spotlight away from him. On the run? Despite Do Kwon seemingly reassuring everyone that he was not at all running, but in fact, sitting and coding in his living room. His whereabouts have been up in the air since he seemingly left Singapore back in September. But the South Korean government apparently has gotten a tip about Do "Run, Run" Kwon´s whereabouts. And they have been able to verify it as well they say. The South Korean government has now reportedly started the process of acquiring the Serbian government's help with extraditing Mr. "Run, Run". Fingers crossed he is not able to take one of his "very day walks" he says he takes and ends up in another country. What are your thoughts on this, do you think Do "Run, Run" Kwon ever will face justice, guilty or not? Please share your thoughts in the comments section down below. Good morning noisers, and a good morning indeed it is. BREAKING NEWS: SBF arrested in Bahamas https://www.publish0x.com/things-of-note-and-other-interesting-stuff/breaking-news-sbf-arrested-in-bahamas-xkprovv You can read all the details available in my latest post.
Nigeria bans large ATM withdrawals to try and force adoption of CBDC In what can only be described as an extreme act of overreach by the Nigerian government they have severely limited their citizen's ability to access their own money. All in the name of CBDC adoption. Nigeria put a weekly withdrawal limit of $225 in effect The limit is actually twofold. With the weekly limit being $225 there is also a daily limit of $45. This is all done to try and force the citizens to the Nigerian CBDC. Personally, I think this is extreme overreach from the Nigerian government. In a sense, they are hindering their citizens from accessing their money. Their very own money. While the amount can be seen as "low" with our standard, the Nigerian average salary is $775 so hopefully, this means that all the people there will still be able to live seemingly normal lives. But it is still baffling to me that we now can have a situation where people have to save money in order for them to be able to buy something expensive. And this is not because they don't have the money. It is simply because they do not have the physical money. They are however able to exceed these limits, but they will have to pay a hefty fee for doing so. For private citizens, it is 5%, and for companies, it is a whopping 10%. The Nigerian government has had "struggles" convincing the population to start adopting the eNaira, and according to reports only 0.5% of the population had used it in its first year of existence. According to a report published back in October this year. One would think that in any other case it would have been called an epic failure and the whole project would be scrapped. But I guess that is not the reality we live in sadly. This is how ever an excellent example of what the governments are willing to do in order to achieve their goals. And don't think you're "safe" just because you live in a "western" country. This is very much the reality that we all are facing more or less. And I would expect similar measures taken if they have problems rolling out a CBDC in Sweden as well. Please share your thoughts on this CBDC situation. Do you think I am too much doom and gloom, or do you think this very well could happen in the country you live in as well? Please sound off in the comment section down below. Does AI think crypto mining has a future? Well, you can read what our AI overlord thinks in my latest post. https://www.publish0x.com/things-of-note-and-other-interesting-stuff/do-ai-think-crypto-mining-has-a-future-or-not-xnnyojl
Do AI think crypto mining has a future or not? After reading HattyHats´s post AI will change everything I decided to give the chat AI a spin myself and see what sort of things it could do. One of the more interesting things came about when I asked it about crypto mining. Here is what the chat AI had to say, the topic is my prompt. https://www.publish0x.com/@HattyHats https://www.publish0x.com/beginning-crypto/ai-will-change-everything-xmyrnjp Do GPU crypto mining have a future, arguments for and against Cryptocurrency mining is the process by which new transactions are added to a blockchain and verified. It is an essential part of the cryptocurrency ecosystem, as it helps to ensure the security and integrity of the blockchain. In order to mine cryptocurrency, people use specialized computers called mining rigs that are equipped with graphics processing units (GPUs), which are designed to handle the complex mathematical calculations involved in mining. There is some debate about the future of GPU crypto mining. Some people argue that it has a bright future, as cryptocurrencies continue to gain mainstream acceptance and adoption. As more and more people use cryptocurrencies for everyday transactions, the demand for mining will likely increase, which could make GPU mining more profitable. Additionally, the development of new mining technologies, such as application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs), could make GPU mining more efficient and cost-effective. On the other hand, some people argue that GPU crypto mining may not have a long-term future. One reason for this is that the difficulty of mining cryptocurrencies is constantly increasing, as more and more people join the network and compete to solve the complex mathematical puzzles involved in mining. This means that it is becoming increasingly difficult and expensive to mine cryptocurrencies, which could make GPU mining less profitable in the future. Additionally, some cryptocurrencies, such as Ethereum, are moving away from proof-of-work (PoW) consensus algorithms, which are the type of algorithms that are currently used for mining most cryptocurrencies. This could further reduce the demand for mining and make it less profitable in the long term. Overall, while there are arguments both for and against the future of GPU crypto mining, it is difficult to predict exactly what the future holds. It will likely depend on a number of factors, such as the overall adoption and acceptance of cryptocurrencies, the development of new mining technologies, and the evolution of blockchain technology. The site in question is https://openai.com/ and I recommend you give it a try, why not submit it to the Turing test? What do you think about it, do you think this is the future? Will we simply be able to put in prompts or ask questions and the AI will generate all the content for us? Please sound off in the comment sections down below. Just managed to break my record for the most fragments farmed in a day in Gods Unchained.
Did I find the missing $8 billion dollars from FTX? https://www.publish0x.com/things-of-note-and-other-interesting-stuff/did-i-find-the-missing-ftx-billions-all-thanks-to-kevin-o-le-xxzlkwp I guess you have to read the post to find out. :P
Did I find the missing FTX billions, all thanks to Kevin O’Leary? Kevin O’Leary did a CNBC interview two days ago and in it, despite it being rather short, a lot of interesting stuff was revealed. Among them he eludes to the problems with FTX seem to stem from their relationship with Binance. FTX and Binance In the interview, Kevin O’Leary mentions he had talked recently with SBF, the former CEO of FTX and his best bud? Then he reveals that in these talks SBF mentioned all the regulatory hiccups FTX faced time and time again thanks to Binance being an early investor in them. This item culminated with SBF seemingly having had enough and was forced to buy out Binance. A buyout that cost around $2 billion dollars. When asked if SBF used FTX funds to buy out Binance Kevin O’Leary seemingly deflects rather than saying he doesn't know. As pretty much anyone expected, CZ the Binance counter, and CEO did not take these slights particularly well. CZ responds to Kevin O’Leary Whether the allegations stem from SBF or Kevin O’Leary simply is speculation based on what SBF has told him is really of little consequence here. Especially to CZ, in a series of tweets did not as much dissect these arguments as much as took a machete and our right went all Jason Voorhees on them. Seemingly giving Kevin O’Leary more than his own share of whopping as well. CZ more or less is calling out Kevin for being a greedy sellout. And seeing how he still seemingly is defending SBF in an interview after interview. I kind of have to agree with CZ here. But one thing I have to commend Kevin for is the fact that at least he appears to be loyal to the bone. That or SBF has some serious dirt on him. CZ goes on and shows that the buyout in question happened back in 2021. And after that FTX has gone on to invest around $5.3 billion after buying out Binance. And that would put the rumors about the buyout causing great financial strain on FTX to rest. Unless it was the buyout that caused SBF to start using customers' funds to pay for stuff. Not that that would make it Binance fault. But if one adds the $2 billion from the Binance buyout on top of the $5.3 billion invested. If we then add on the $300 million FTX spent on mostly private homes and vacation homes for senior staff. It gets pretty dam close to $8 billion with the total landing at $7.6 billion. One of FTX's lawyers has also called for an investigation into the sale of Binance share in FTX. Is this because they think that it is the starting point of the missing funds as well? Kevin O’Leary and his business practices I thought it worth taking a look at what appears to be Kevin O’Leary’s business practice that got revealed in the interview as well. We often hear about the "do your own research" in the crypto space. So whom better to learn from than a very successful millionaire entrepreneur? In the interview, he briefly talks about changing his mind about crypto. And as far as I can tell, reading between the lines, his change came about with the growth of crypto as more and more people started to make serious money and it just would not go away. He then saw what looked like a golden goose, SBF and FTX. So he thought he would hitch his ride to that gold-laying machine. When asked about doing his due diligence, the same things DYOR but because you got a lot of money it has to have a separate name. He confesses to simply trusting the other rich investors having done their due diligence. He also goes on to say he more or less got lined by the fact that SBF was the only American alternative. So that apparently also worked in favor of SBF. Which I find especially funny as Kevin is from Canada. ^^ Wo who knew that multi-millionaires are just like you and me? No one reads the whitepaper and looks at the creators of a project because they want to buy $100 of $DOGE coins. You buy it and hope that Elon Stank will tweet about it so you can sell it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIXq1pfvG0g If you want to watch the interview you will find it here. It is merely 5 min long, so it is not exactly a big commitment. =) Please share your thoughts on all this. Do you think I might be on to something about the missing funds, or am I simply seeing correlation and not causation? Please sound off in the comment section down below. I know times are hard, especially with inflation at rarely-seen heights. Electricity price soring, food shortages, and crazy despots fighting expansion wars. And the economy overall is in the toilet, crypto companies breaking havoc on everyday personal finances. But it is in times like this we need to remember that if we all pull together we can achieve miracles. Just like the classic Garfunkel and Oates song. If we pull together then we can all Save the Rich. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ej7dfPL7Kho
Is it just me that is having this issue? Ever since Elon Stank took over twitter I am getting a lot of "sexy ladies" that follow me there. It is like Stank was worried about the bots before, now he has given the keys to the place to the bots. =(
Did SBF cause the collapse of $LUNA/$UST earlier this year? Well, it depends on if you believe 3AC´s co-founder or not. Read about it here: https://www.publish0x.com/things-of-note-and-other-interesting-stuff/3-arrow-capital-co-funder-accuses-sbf-of-causing-the-dollar-xjrqpwj
3 Arrow Capital co-funder accuses SBF of causing the $LUNA/$UST collapse In a seemingly strange bit of news, Su Zhu co-funder of the now defunct investment firm 3 Arrow Capital has started to make waves calling out SBF for causing the $LUNS/$UST collapse earlier this year. Why and why now? According to Su Zhu SBF were out to get them, or to be more exact "hunting" them. I have firmly said we were hunted since my July *Bloomberg* interview. Go back and read it, -Su Zhu https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-07-22/three-arrows-founders-en-route-to-dubai-describe-ltcm-moment He claims that he was more or less forced to be silent at the time of 3AC´s collapse due to the bad optics it would have caused at the time to point the finger at SBF. As well as it could be seen as deflecting, putting the blame for their failure on someone else. SBF is currently under investigation for the alleged manipulation of markets for his own gains, relating to $LUNA and $UST. But others have emerged pointing the finger at SBF for doing and trying to manipulate markets for his own gains. No one other than CZ, the Binance CEO, claimed that SBF tried to manipulate Tether to cause it to loos its peg to the dollar. Trades of that size would not make a material impact on Tether’s pricing, and to my knowledge neither myself nor Alameda has ever attempted to intentionally depeg Tether or any other stablecoins, ... I have made a number of mistakes over the past year but that is not one of them. -SBF SBF of course denies these rumors and allegations. And why wouldn't he? But whether he did or he did not I will leave it to others to decide. But it does add a lot of smoke to a situation that at the very least already is starting to block out the sky with smoke. What do you think, have SBF tried to or actually manipulated the markets as they accuse him of doing? Or is it just innuendo and circumstance? Please sound off in the comments section down below. Sleep well Noisers, sweet dreams =)
Weekend ranked has started in Gods Unchained, what are you playing this weekend? Let me know what decks you are brining to the table =)
Sam Bankman-Fried, buffoon or evil mastermind? I am really happy with how this post turned out. I would love it if you considered checking it out and letting me know what you think about it. Either here or in the comment section of the post. =) I take a look at SBF what he did before the crash and what he most recently has been doing now after the crash. https://www.publish0x.com/things-of-note-and-other-interesting-stuff/sam-bankman-fried-buffoon-or-evil-mastermind-xrgrqkz
Sam Bankman-Fried, buffoon or evil mastermind? I thought it was high time I did a post and took a deeper look at the infamous SBF. Is he really just a buffoon or is there something sinister lurking? Was it all an evil master plan from an equally evil mastermind? Sam Bankman-Fried Or SBF for short. An MIT graduate and son to two lawyers, one from Yale and one from Harward. One of the founders of Alameda Research in 2017. A company that was a trading firm that is using Quantitative trading as well as proprietary trading. And in 2019 he went on to be one of the founders of FTX, the crypto exchange. If you named your company like We Do Cryptocurrency Bitcoin Arbitrage Multinational Stuff, no one's going to give you a bank account. [...] But everyone wants a Research Institute. -Sam Bankman-Fried I have to give him that he very much is correct here. Just to show the extent of it. Earlier this year I partook in a "start your own business" course for a few weeks. And during that, I looked into the possibility of getting a loan to start up a crypto investment firm. Nothing fancy, just something that would help people invest in crypto. I thought I would contact the different banks in Sweden sp try and get a baseline of what to expect if I took out a loan to start up a company. What I was met with was not interest numbers and mortgage timelines. But the cold shoulder. As soon as crypto was mentioned it was "we do not deal with that", and "we do not grant loans to crypto businesses". And my friend tried to buy crypto in Binance with his debit card, but was denied. And when he contacted his bank they let him know it was because it was crypto. That was the reason the charge was denied. So to say that banks do not view crypto in a favorable light is probably the understatement of the century. But then again how would you view your competitor that in a sense would make your whole business model obsolete? I guess I would not view that in the best of light either. Growing empire Just as Alameda Research got started, and FTX was added. Soon thereafter more and more entities got added to a seemingly ever-growing corporate structure. And it was not really until after the bankruptcy filings that effort was put into charting and getting a grip on the whole situation. At the time there were more than 100 entities involved in the corporate structure in one way or another. *Source:* *https://twitter.com/BLynch_23/status/1598711357867696128* And if you think this cleaned-up version is tricky to wrap your head around. Think how much work it would be to keep track of and be aware of what all of these are doing. Let alone how they are connected and interconnected. It is almost like their default action to want something done was to start up a separate entity to do just that one single task. There was however an exodus from Alameda Research in April of 2018. A little more than a year prior to the founding of FTX. The person who led this exodus was nonother than SBF´s co-founder of Alameda Research, Tara Mac Aulay. The reason she has given recently is concern over risk management and business ethics. This has been corroborated in other sources as well. "No one was ultimately making sure that our trading and accounting were OK. We did a lot of sloppy trades, many of which some people were at the time worried about," SBF has written in documents dating from 2018. This seemingly corroborates Tara's tweet. People were seemingly frustrated that even back then, in 2018. The co-mingling of funds both led to poorly kept records and balance data resulting in millions being lost in a $XRP trade due to the tokens not arriving in time. *Your money, my money, their money. It is all just money in the end, right? Right?* I assume many felt this shoot-from-the-hip and unstructured approach was a stark contrast to where SBF came from prior to Alameda. Jane Street Capital LLC, a quantitative trading giant that has extensive risk management in place. And I assume no co-mingling of funds. But according to the very same documents SBF claimed that this got addressed in March 2018, "and Alameda built systems to better calculate the firm’s profits, losses and transfers, leading to a more profitable trading system". But I would very much question these claimed changes. How effective can they have been is the people who had concern over them up and left the very next month after they were supposedly "addressed"? Never in my career have I seen such a complete failure of corporate controls and such a complete absence of trustworthy financial information as occurred here, [...] From compromised systems integrity and faulty regulatory oversight abroad, to the concentration of control in the hands of a very small group of inexperienced, unsophisticated and potentially compromised individuals, this situation is unprecedented, -John J. Ray And judging by what the court-appointed John J. Ray had to say about the companies. It appears that that was his opinion after the fix had been implemented. How bad were things before then? I can only assume that would be the very stuff of nightmares. For an accountant at least. =) SBF post FTX And while most people after the crash of the billion-dollar empire would choose to simply stay quiet. And I assume all lawyers would advise their clients the same thing. SBF has instead done the exact opposite. He has now gone on a media tour of sorts. Giving interviews left and right. Which is very strange, especially given that both his parents are lawyers. What is it SBF has been saying in these interviews then? He has been telling everyone and everything that he basically has done nothing wrong, or I should say nothing criminal. He admits to being in over his head, and not being up and up on the things he should have been. Doing one mistake after another. All unfortunately culminated in the mess we now have before us. *A billion here, a billion there. That can happen to anyone...* An $8 billion dollar deficit. And a lot of people wondering where their money has gone. Does SBF have an explanation of how it all got this bad? Well yes, he has. What he is saying is that it was an accounting problem that went on unchecked. One of the reasons for this he gives is during the start of FTX. They had no bank, so when clients wanted to put money onto FTX they paid Alameda Research. They then got credited this money on FTX. To the best of my ability, I understand it as thins. Because the money was in one place, at Alameda, but the funds also were credited over at FTX. Alameda thought the money they had where theirs. But in fact, it was FTX´s customer's money. And this is what he wants us to believe caused the $8 billion dollar deficit. SBF, when pressured, also said that his margin of error was in the $10 billion dollar ballpark. That amount seems preposterous at best. I have no idea who SBF thinks will buy this excuse, Warren Buffer or Jeff Bezos? *Just like the magic words "open sesame" opens the door to the treasure for Alibaba. The word "fraud" seems to turn SBF into this guy.* But what about the whole "I am so dumb" stick he is now trying to push on people? To me, it seems like he very much was the smartest guy in the room until someone found out that what they were doing was a fraud. Then with the wave of a wand, SBF went from the smartest guy in the room to the dumbest one. An example of how preposterous I find this is if we look back at the beginning of this post. SBF´s quote about the thoughts behind the name Alameda Research. That is not something the dumbest guy in the room takes into account. Another thing that is in stark contrast to this is the fact that SBF said in the very first interview he has done that he in fact has donated to both Republicans and Democrats to an equal extent. But he has kept the fact about his donations to republicans a secret because it does not play well with the media and the public perception. This again do not paint the picture of the ignorant "ops I made mistakes after mistakes and it got out of hand" person. A similar thing was omitted by SBF in a series of leaked messages about his interactions with regulators. It was all for the PR according to him. Both of these instances do not in my view at least line up with the narrative SBF is trying to push in the interviews. And I assume this will come back and bite him in the end when it all goes to court. Because what SBF is doing now is loudly proclaiming and pushing a certain negative or cause of events. And that leaves very little wiggle room for his legal defense to choose any other strategy. But I guess there is always The Chewbacca Defense to fall back on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aV6NoNkDGsU To me, it just reeks of desperation from SBF´s side. Not to mention the fact that is you listen to the interviews where people are asking him about the fact that the user agreement clearly states that there would be no co-mingling of funds or anything done with the customer's funds. He keeps sounding like he is making things up on the fly. But these are the questions he would expect to get asked. Because if they can prove that there was a breach of contract that means fraud. But sure one would expect that he would possibly be caught off guard the first time with the question. But how come it sounds like his answers are getting worse over time? If you truly care about the customers like SBF claimed he is doing. Why would he not prepare and be able to give a seemingly cohesive answer to the important questions? Can it be that the babbling buffoon simply fits much better with this new narrative of a buffoon he is trying to go all in on? I for one would argue it is something that SBF provenly has done in the past and to great success as well. So why would he expect it not to work again? Listening to SBF in the interviews he has given. Especially the ones Coffezilla posted, where he managed to ask SBF questions. I keep thinking about what the terminator says in T2: "I'm a cybernetic organism, living tissue over metal endoskeleton". Only here instead of a metal endoskeleton, the living tissue is draped over a slimy slippery eel. I hope you have enjoyed this look into SBF. And just in case it was not obvious by now, I definitely am leaning toward the evil mastermind side of things. But hopefully, I have been able to present my case for it in a somewhat unbiased way. But I would like to hear what your thoughts on SBF are. Do you agree with more, or do you think I have missed some things that I need to take into account? First out is Merry Kadmos himself. 5 mana 3/4 with frontline and Pick one: pull a creature from the board to the top of its controller's deck, or give +2/+2 to the Chosen One. The stats of the card alone is definitely nothing to get excited about. 5 mana 3/4 is well below what you would expect. The pick option does allow you to have some flexibility. And being able to put a creator not only into someone's hand but all the way back on top of their deck is sure to be a play that will buy you some tempo. While giving +2/+2 as a buff can be very nice. I would rather have liked to see that be for any creature, not just the Chosen One. Mostly because so far I have not really seen any "chosen one" competitive deck. Despite me loving the idea and mechanism of it. But maybe this set will allow a Chosen one deck to finally be viable. Who knows. I would say that if you will see this in any Light decks it most definitely will be in control decks, as it allows for more board control. Orfeo in Wonderlands, 3 mana 1/1. Deadly and Hiden for 1 turn. After your opponent plays a creature, attack it. Afterlife Shuffle this creature into your deck. This will most definitely see play in control Deception decks. And it will be a tricky card to deal with. Your opponent almost has to just pass their following turn unless they have an armored creature or some way of pinging this off the board. But the kicker is even if they do that, it will be back. This is just like that pimple that shows up when you least want it to. And it keeps coming back time and time again. There is however some wiggle room in the card. It says it will attack the first creature that gets played. I assume that creatures that are summoned either from hero power or from other cards or creatures will be "safe" from being attacked. I do assume it will attack creatures that are hidden as well as behind frontline. In a similar way to how Underbrush Boar can attack anything. Frost Queen Neferu, 4 mana 4/4. Each turn, after the first time your opponent draws a card, plays a card, uses their god power, and attacks with their relic, their god takes 2 damage. This wording on the card is very unfortunate. As it reads to me you can do each of these things 1 time every turn. But if you do it a second time you take 2 damage. But this does not really make any sense as you in the absolute majority of cases only can use your hero power once per turn. Do this means that you then can do one of these things each turn, and the second thing you do makes you take damage? Or do they mean as soon as you do one of these things you take 2 damage, and you keep taking damage for everything you do? If this is the case, then I see this card as being very powerful. And will most definitely see wide play. As an example Death mill decks will run this, control decks and Anubians. Almost any Death deck will have this in them as it is just an all-around good card that for sure will cause problems for your opponent. And with the card being 4/4 it is a pretty big card to deal with. This will probably be one of the standout cards of the set. Up now are the remaining three, War, Nature, and Magic. Sleigh Master Valka, 5 mana 6/5. Overkill, Roar: if you have fewer than 2 cards in hand, gain blitz. This card will be in most agro War decks. And if you are able to play this will blitz, this one is sure to pack a punch. Its overkill will make short work of smaller creatures. And the 6 attacks will make sure to clear most 5 mana cards in the game with one hit. This looks to be an overall good card. Not crazy in any way, just a good solid card. With 5 mana it is definitely not too expensive for most agro lists. But it will give you that hope of the mid-game ability to turn the game in your favor. Reinkeeper Selena, 6 mana 3/3, after this creature attacks, summon a base copy of a random friendly Wild creature with mana cost 3 or less. Roar: Summon two 2/2 Reinbadgers with blitz. This card is a bit tricky. The stats alone from the card is 7/7 which is ok for a 6 mana card. Especially with two 2/2 with blitz. The upside of it is pretty great as well. It could allow you to keep summon 2/2 with blitz, if one of them is alive. That is the caveat. It will only summon copies of creatures that are in play. I think this card will see play, but I think it will not be widely used. It will probably see play in specific decks. Maybe this means there will be an Amazon deck that finally will be consistent and powerful enough? Or maybe the two 2/2 with blitz make this a good fit for control Nature decks? The card has potential, but as it is I do not see wide play for this one. Snowshaper Pallas, 6 mana 3/3, Roar & Ability: Transform a creature into a 0/1 Snow Statue with "Can´t attack". This card will most definitely see play in control Magic decks. And it probably will see play in a few other decks as well. As it is a good counter against most big threats that get played. Plus the opponent must deal with it or risk having all their creatures slowly turned into Snow Statues. This card I feel will definitely see play in many Magic decks. There will be one more review after this, in which I will cover the remaining cards as well as take a look at the sub-cards for Fir Tree´s Fury and for Candy Chain. I hope that you have enjoyed this review, just as much as I have making it. If you think I made any wrong assumption or messed up in some way. Or am plainly barking up the wrong tree with my assessments of the cards? Please let me know and let me know why I am wrong, or correct for that matter. I would love to hear your opinions on these cards. If you would like to support me and the content I make, please consider following me, reading my other posts, or why not do both instead. This oldie somehow just got super relevant again. I guess history repeats itself? Like in some weird way. It is the game "Who said it" Kanye or Hitler. From over a decade ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RMdwA8GWB8
