September 8th is known as the Blessed Virgin Mary's birthday. Happy birthday Blessed Mother. May you guide us and pray for us always. This picture was taken just outside a Catholic Church in Kanagawa where we attended mass every time we went on vacation there. This is one of the most beautiful sculptures of the Blessed Mother that I've seen not because it's intricate or extravagant, but because it is simple, elegant, pure. Every spring, this creeping rose, the color of blush, comes alive and adds more beauty to the already lovely sculpture. I hope that we all have a nice day today. May the Covid virus be blown away by God's healing breath. 🙏💗
