Calvin and Hobbes... In college, I had a few dorm mates who collected these comics, much like those Archie books. I borrowed what I could and read these whenever possible. This was how I came to love Calvin's antics with his best buddy, Hobbes. These comics always entertained me. Now that I'm older, I still love the comics in a more poignant way, I guess. I've come to realize that Calvin had a lonely childhood with only his stuffed tiger, Hobbes, as his companion. Calvin did imagine so many scenarios and had a lot of interesting experiences by himself. I think being in his situation made him more imaginative and creative.
