Caught in the Act
This piece is a combination of the works of Van Gough and Goya - a reproduction that melts two different paintings together.
I asked her, "What happens when it rains?"

If it were to last 7 days, this work would be exactly like art on Hive. She goes home with her bag full of little bits of colorful votes. She cashes them in for things she needs like food, rent, bills and clothes.

Highrise-Art at the Medical College
I have tried to lay off taking shots of art that I find to be worthy because of how things usually go here. But this one? I could not help but photograph it.
If you look at the left of all three murals and let your eyes fade to the bottom of that frame, you will have this scene at the base of it.
There is a skateboard park at the bottom. You can see the lowest part of the mural in view here. As I stood there, I panned my camera to the left and got the rest of this roller park.
For those who are into graffiti, there is plenty of that here at ground level and within reach of most teenagers.
Lastly, let's zoom out and take a look at the scene which takes up an entire block - left to right.
I had to back up and stand at the edge of a park and capture all three, towering over the cinema and food court. I had walked all around the neighborhood to get several shots for context. I hope you like it.

Well, the canvas is about sixty feet wide and there are a lot more details you may see than just the three. And I still do not know what NA is for.
We can take a run down to the left side, which is exactly what I did.
Did you catch the wildlife? Yes, they seem to be at the edge of the nuclear blast - some sort of racoon or bear.
The colors screamed at me to take these shots. I know they are not always appreciated by some of the opinionated folks here, but I don't expect people to read for an hour on one post.
This is something you would not have been able to see if you don't live where I do. This is my private museum in my corner of the internet.
Walking through an art museum
This one was taken on a corner in the western section of San Telmo, almost in Constitucion. It is at the base of an 8 story apartment building and I thing it was probably intentionally painted and paid for by the people living there. Reason being that it stays within the property line.
You may think the city is my own personal playground, and it is.
You might also call my blog my own personal art list.
I know that some people here on read.cash want long articles. Some are okay with short, clever, and unique ones. If it is required to write something that takes time to read, I will try to work my way up to that. You have to understand that I am trying this out and still need to find my friends here too.

What to do with the left overs?

A bit like Chop Suey but part Japanese.
You see I ordered something different from the restaurant and when it came, it had a lot of Sashimi in the mix. I had ordered way too much. I saved the ones that I did not like. They are a lot like slabs of raw salmon and I like salmon. So I waited for dinner time, made some rice, and used the ginger and lettuce that were the side dish.
So be careful how much you order and if you get something that you don't really like that much. You can make something new and interesting out of what is left - then have it for dinner. Or, you could even make a breakfast option for yourself.
I cut up what was left and put in on a bed of rice - Yummy!
You will be glad to have a new recipe!
Aged in dripping color
I am an art lover. Many works will be lost if not captured.
Most building owners clean off paint the next day and it does not matter how good the artist is. Note the door just to the left of this artwork.
When a property is not lived in or has not yet been rented, artist attempt to find a new home for their passion. This door allows the old gentleman a place to ponder until someone comes to paint him over again.
I was struck by the way colors were allowed to drip down over this black and white piece. Lovely.

Struggle for Our Land
The caption here says, "For your eternal company and struggle for our land"
I am not sure who is in this drawing, but some have commented that it incites violence. I captured the image because I like art the size of a car. Or better yet, the size of a six story building for that matter.
The words seemed peaceful since there is no current war near us in southern South America. Now I am sure there is some symbolism that I am missing. It could be in the colors or style of the painting. Maybe it is the hammer that seems to turn into a pencil. Either way, I liked it when I took it and want to keep it in my collection here on-line.
Left Leaning Chaos
This was left in a subway station downtown. I just shot a photo of it.
The piece is so busy and almost animated, but then it has unrelated numbers floating in the air, lines that look like they could be scratches in the negatives of a photograph, and everything seems to be leaning in an uncomfortable, off balance, way.
I found it to be unique and wanted a copy for myself.

You have me in a rainy day blues kind of mood. Walking, contemplating my surroundings.
I had actually seen an eagle carrying some sort of rodent, but I was not fast enough to capture it on my phone.
With no sun, off and on drizzle, the ambient light was good for grabbing zero shadow photos.
This is my favorite of all !

Storage when moving into a smaller place.
The closet is where everything goes
when an unannounced visitor comes. Especially if the cleaning hasn't been done yet.
We are getting down to the bottom of the barrel when you see me snapping closet shots.
I moved to this, he smallest apartment I have ever had, six months ago and needed to sort my entire house into orange boxes. Why orange? Because they are easier to see when they fall on you.
The house has one walk in closet and anything else you want to store needs to have a piece of furniture bought for it.
Yes that is part of a Nerf gun sticking out of one of them. Below is a shot of three rooms bedroom left, closet middle, bathroom right. I was standing in the main common room taking this photo.

Yes, I laid on the floor and took a shot of my only closet.
I ***am*** one of those who has to have everything off the floor. It's so much more work to lift everything before sweeping. The boxes that are stacked have lighter things in them. The heavy duty banana boxes have UPS units in them and weigh about 70 pounds. I no longer try to avoid power failures with Uninterruptible Power Supplies. I use laptops.
The white box (bottom right) is filled with computer hard disks and GPU's for mining - which I no longer care to do.
There is also a ladder (obscured by the door) so that we can get to the boxes up top. I had thought I broke my pack-ratting habit years ago. There are still some hints of it though.

This was taken in worse times when we had a stove, the kind you just connect to the wall and it works, but we had no wall. So you get a propane tank, hook it up to the stove and the results are a bit different.
***I used to tell my wife, "the water would get hotter faster if the flames were under the pot."***
***She used to say, "it gets hotter faster if you put the stove on high."***
Neither of us won the debate and we had many debates about things way more stupid over the years. This was just one of them. I always take pictures of things that are ridiculous, out of the ordinary, strange, overdone, or underdone. This is overdone and she still tries to get the flames this high though the house is bigger and the stove more conventional.
What kind of nutty things do you argue about with your families?

So Awesome I Can Hardly Contain Myself
Okay, I've got it.. You have heard of a *bug out bag*
but this is where you bug out to.
If it looks like a shipping container
That's because it is. I was looking at these as a place to retire, steps away from the beach on the Atlantic ocean. The property goes for us$20,000 and you can have the container installed for another us$10,000. Guaranteed not to blow over, leak, or become rodent infested. I am not sure if they will do the fence up for you or not for that price.
Some models have a porch attached to the front. You can have as many modules added as you like for $10k each. They have drywall installed, inulated and are connected with doors. Heating and A/C cost extra.
The idea behind these is that you need not pay property tax because it is not technically a house. These are located where the government wants between 10-25% per year. In other words, you can just hand them the keys to your home in five years. Mathematically they will never get the whole house, but in my opinion, they have no right to any of our property.
I will never own a home. Maybe one of these. It would have to look a bit different. I will update you when I have seen more. No location provided as of yet. I don't want you taking my spot!
